Uproot that Evil Tree

Saturday 26 September
READ: Matt. 15:10-14
MORE LESSON: Num. 33:52-56

It is very easy to interprete verse 13 of the Scripture reading on the surface. But you don't interprete scriptures only by the understanding that you have. You could also look for a little theological explanation of the scripture. For example, the theological application revolves around Jesus teaching about the Pharisees that the doctrines they had been teaching were not acceptable to God and therefore in a very short while, God would put an end to those doctrines; that is primarily what that scripture is talking about.

The application of that scripture is that an ungodly and unscriptural doctrine is not the only thing that Jesus wants to put an end to. He wants to put an end to anything that is not acceptable to God; anything that has no foundation in God has no reason to stand. So, apply this to your life. Jesus says, Every plant, which my heavenly Father hath not planted, shall be rooted up: Matt.15:13. That tree must be uprooted because it was not planted by the Father. You can apply that to your life; what are the things that are happening in your life that are not from God? If your life belongs to God, whatever happens to it must get the consent and approval of God.

The scripture becomes relevant when applied to your life, Every plant, which my heavenly Father hath not planted. . .. Why is it that only the trees that the Father plants are the ones which must survive? Can't anyone else plant? Must it be the Father alone that plants in your life? Only the Father can plant because the Certificate of Occupancy of the land belongs to the Father as the Bible says, The earth is the Lord's, and the fullness thereof: Psa. 24:1. The whole earth belongs to God, which means only God has the final authority to give Certificate of Occupancy for any land, because He created it. If God owns it, the devil should not use it.

By faith start your day by prophesying against every tree that the Father has not planted. That is how to make sure that every tree that the Lord has not planted is uprooted, And Jesus answering saith unto them, Have faith in God. For verily I say unto you, That whosoever shall say unto this mountain, Be thou removed, and be thou cast into the sea; and shall not doubt in his heart, but shall believe that those things which he saith shall come to pass; he shall have whatsoever he saith: Mk.11:22-23.

Prayer/Action
* Ask the Lord to empower you over every tree not planted by Him in your life.
* Use the name, the blood and the Spirit of God in you to uproot every demonic planting in your life.
* Declare that your life will no longer be a fertile ground for satanic seeds, in Jesus’ name.

PROPHETIC PRAYER
As a prince with God I shall prevail with God and man, in the name of Jesus.

Rebuilding the Walls

Friday 25 September
READ: Neh 1: 3 - 11
MORE LESSON: 2 Chron. 7: 14

There was a time in scriptures when Israel sinned against God and they went into exile. The city was burned down and the wall of Jerusalem was destroyed. The wall of Jerusalem was the pride of Israel for it was the impregnable defense around Jerusalem that protected it from the onslaught of the enemy. Jerusalem was in ruins for many years after its walls were broken down. Many believers are defenseless and in ruins today because, spiritually speaking, their walls have been broken. When walls are torn down, wild beasts and dangerous animals get in and wretch a city or a life; as expressed in the Bible, . . . and whoso breaketh an hedge, a serpent shall bite him: Eccl 10:8. When a city or a life sins against God, its walls get torn down.
A man by the name of Nehemiah decided that he was going to rebuild the walls of Jerusalem. It is time for you to rebuild the walls around your life. There are lessons that we can learn when we consider the life of Nehemiah and how he rebuilt the walls of Jerusalem. The first lesson is that Nehemiah was in captivity when he decided that he wanted to rebuild Jerusalem and restore the glory of Israel. He was a slave in another kingdom but he didn't consider that as a hindrance as he went ahead to conceive the thought of rebuilding the walls of Jerusalem. I want you not to allow your background and present status to limit your dreams and goals in life. No matter how down you have sank, don't allow your present status to dictate your renewed aspiration.

Nehemiah needed so much resource to execute the project that he conceived but as a slave in the king's palace, he didn't have the money but he still went ahead despite that. You have to make up your mind that the size of your salary and income will not determine your dreams and expenditure but rather the size of your God is what will determine what you will dare to do. When you make that decision, everything will change for you. Nehemiah thought to himself that even though he was a slave in another kingdom and he didn't have all that was needed to build the walls of Jerusalem, he would still go ahead and achieve it; so he started to pray. And it came to pass, when I heard these words, that I sat down and wept, and mourned certain days, and fasted, and prayed before the God of heaven: Neh 1:4.

He began to cry and weep then he went into fasting. His prayers were so heartfelt that the Bible documented them. His prayers of repentance and supplication was considered fit for scriptures. Your genuine repentance, heartfelt prayer and crying to God is the beginning of your rebuilding the walls of your life. Today you have to rebuild all walls that have been torn down around your life. Start by first identifying areas that need rebuilding, then map out your personal steps for the take off. Then begin to pray and believe. I command your walls to be rebuilt, in Jesus’ name.

Prayer/Action
* Pray that your wall of defense shall not be broken through by the enemy.
* Ask God to cleanse you of any sin that could pull down your wall of defence, in the name of Jesus.
* Ask God for courage and wisdom to confront every weak wall of your defence in life in Jesus’name.

PROPHETIC PRAYER
My head shall not lack oil, I shall be anointed like the horn of the unicorn and I shall be clothed in glory throughout my life time, in the name of Jesus.

Stop that Satanic Planting II

Thursday 24 September
READ: Psa.125:1-5
MORE LESSON: Josh.1:6-9

Yesterday we learnt how to prevent the enemy from ever planting in our lives. The last point is have faith in God; have faith in God that the enemy will not plant a seed in your destiny. Don't go out in the morning until you are sure that you have confidence that God will take you through the day. If you wake up in the morning and you feel like you wake up on the wrong side and say, Today will be bad, things will be tough, then it will be a bad day, you won't survive it. In fact, the devil will not have to shoot you with a gun, he will just say Hey!. . . and you are on the ground.

But when you wake up each day, say, Blessed be the Lord, who daily loadeth us with benefits, even the God of our salvation Psa. 68:19. Say, it is written that in all things I am more than a conqueror through him who loved me (Rom. 8: 37). I have overcome them because greater is He that is in me than he that is in the world that I am going into today (1 John 4:4). God said He has a thought concerning me this morning, the thought of good and not of evil, to give me a hope and a future (Jer. 29:11). So as I step out today, I can see a hope waiting for me for His anger endures but a moment; in His favour is life. Weeping may endure for a night but joy comes in the morning (Psa. 30: 5).

Weeping will not go out with me this morning. The Lord is my Shepherd, I shall not want (Psalm23: 1). Today, only the Shepherd goes out with me, the enemy will not go out with me. It is written, I shall be like a tree planted by the rivers of water, that bringeth forth his fruit in his season; his leaf also shall not wither; and whatsoever [I do]shall prosper: Psa.1:3. Whatever I lay my hands on to do this morning shall prosper. I'm going out with the expectation to prosper. I can see prosperity waiting for me. I can see doors open to me.

Have faith in God, start your day with confidence in the God that cannot fail, the One who keeps promises. Lift up your right hand above your head and say, Father, in the name of Jesus, every tree that You have not planted, I hereby uproot. I have faith, I believe in You. Poverty, sickness, affliction and nightmare are uprooted, in the name of the Father, Son and the Holy Spirit.

Prayer/Action
* Thank God for the power to uproot everything that the enemy has planted.
* Lift your hands and declare the root of affliction broken over your life.
* Tell Satan you and your entire household are a no parking zone.

PROPHETIC PRAYER
In 2015, my seed shall not be cut off; they shall bear fruits and yield abundantly, in the name of Jesus.

Stop that Satanic Planting I

Wednesday 23 September
READ: I Tim.1:18-20
MORE LESSON: Matt.13:24-30

There are a few ways by which you can fight to prevent the enemy from planting in your life.
First, you need to know that you have to live a permanent life of knowledge of what is yours. Beloved, keep remembering what is yours. First among your possessions is Jesus; Jesus is yours and you are His, you have handed your life over to Him. The Holy Spirit, the power that rules the universe is yours. God's promises from Genesis to Revelation are yours. If you don't know what is yours, you won't be able to fight for it. The Bible says we are seated in heavenly places with Christ Jesus far and above principalities and powers (Eph 1:21) .

Second, now that you know what you have, put it to work. The name of Jesus is yours, put it to work. The power of the Holy Ghost is yours, put it to work. The power of productivity is yours, put it to work. Don't ever watch the enemy's plant grow on your territory. Do what you can, even if your cutlass is blunt, resharpen it and keep on hitting it, one day, that tree will collapse.

Third, don't ever in your life believe there is something impossible. Don't tell anybody anything is impossible. The word impossible is a lie. Don't believe the devil's lie that there is something around your life and destiny that is impossible. Jesus says, ...Every plant, which my heavenly Father hath not planted, shall be rooted up: Matt.15:13. He doesn't say some trees. When you say that some things are impossible what you are saying is that some trees cannot be uprooted. At the mention of the name of Jesus, every knee shall bow. What is meant for you will not go to another, in Jesus’s name. Don't fold your hands while your destiny goes twisted. Fast, pray, put your destiny in God's hand. Be regular in church, create time for destiny because what you don't create time for in God, you will lose to the devil.

Fourth, fight for your inheritance. Never cease to fight. Use every breath inside you to say no to the devil and his lies. Every breath includes your fasting time, your prayer time, personal vigils for yourself. Jude1:3 says, ...earnestly contend for the faith.... When your pastor declares fasting and prayer in church, it is about you, not about the pastor. If you don't go for fasting and prayer meeting you are the loser, not the pastor. Earnestly contend for what is yours. Start now!

Prayer/Action
.* Identify the strange things that are co-habiting your destiny and command them to be uprooted now.
* Say no to everything called impossibility in your life.
* Destroy everything in you that could make you a fertile land for evil.

PROPHETIC PRAYER
This month, I shall build and inhabit, plant and harvest, and none of my reward will go to another, in the name of Jesus.
