Destroying the Waster 2

Sunday 6 March
READ: Prov. 18: 9
MORE LESSON: Prov.12:27

A waster is what makes a destiny to be reduced to nothing. When a waster is present in a man's life, it devours the life till it becomes zero. Wasters could be at work in a man's life as we have shown yesterday but also a man could be a waster himself. A waster is something or someone that is there to take but has nothing to add. So there are some things in a man's life that make the man to be a waster himself. I declare war against everything that causes waste in your life, in Jesus’ name.
I have found that certain things turn a man to a waste. These are things you must cast out of your life by force.
1. Un-thankfulness: An ungrateful person is a waster. All that is spent on him seems to be wasted as what the giver gets in return is more complaint, murmuring and slander. A Nigerian proverb says that when a man gives good and the recipient is ungrateful, the man feels as if the good was stolen from him. Apostle Paul listed un-thankfulness among the evils that will reign in the end-time (2 Tim 3: 1- 2). A marriage was wasted because the wife could no longer live with the ingratitude of the husband. Friend, please be a grateful person. Don't be useful for nothing.
2. Laziness: People who never get themselves to work at anything are wasters. Wasters can gossip, sleep, play and watch entertainment from dawn to dusk without doing any productive thing. The Bible says, He also that is slothful in his work is brother to him that is a great waster: Prov 18:9. Laziness and wasteful living are brothers. I rebuke laziness in your destiny, in Jesus’ name.
3. A beggarly life: People who are always begging around live a wasted life. When a man lives a life of ever asking and never giving, he is opening the door for a wasted life. A mindset that wants everything for nothing is a mindset of waste. It doesn't matter how little you have now, cultivate a lifestyle of giving and not begging. Some people beg so much that they beg for what is harmful to them. When my father was alive in the village, he had a habit of taking a pill for headache periodically. Even when he didn't have a headache, sometimes he would just take a few pills and swallow. There was a man that used to come visiting our house and if he was around when my dad took his habitual pill, he would just stretch his hand and say, 'please give me too.’
4. Pride: Prov 16:18 says, Pride goeth before destruction, and an haughty spirit before a fall. A proud person is treading the path of a wasted destiny. You must not allow any iota of pride in your heart.
Today everything that brings waste is terminated in your destiny, in Jesus’ name.

Prayer/Action
* Father, I cast out of my life every character that wastes a man’s destiny.
* In the name of Jesus, my destiny shall not be reduced to nothing.

PROPHETIC PRAYER
Whatsoever operates against me this month by flying shall lose their wings, the ones that walk shall be crippled and the ones in the waters shall be dried up, in the name of Jesus.

The Place of Vision

Friday 4 March
READ: Prov. 29: 18
MORE LESSON: Hab. 2: 2-3

The place of vision is very important in life. We need vision in every area of life to achieve success. If you don't have a personal vision for your life - academics, finance, home, family - one day you will collapse and perish, because he who fails to plan is planning to fail. As expressed in the Scripture, Where there is no vision, the people perish . . .: Prov 29:18. Vision is the prerequisite for planning: when you know your target and goal, you can start working towards it. Vision helps us develop strategies and a visionary person is not easily distracted. If you see men who wander to and fro in life; today they are in a ministry, tomorrow in another and next tomorrow, they move to yet another, the problem is that they don't have a vision. A visionless person doesn't know what he is doing, where he is going and where he belongs.
The beginning of vision is salvation; when you are reconciled to God, you can be reconciled to your purpose and vision because your purpose is in Him. Even after salvation, you still have to discover what God has saved your soul to do. If you discover what God would have you do, you also need to find the place where He wants you to do it. Discover the location for your vision. Because for every God-given vision, there is a particular place where you most effectively fulfil what God has asked you to do. You don't just attend church as a religious gathering because the vision you have is what determines the church you attend. When you see that your personal life vision matches with the vision of the people gathered in a church, then you come in to achieve the vision with them. If you don't have that kind of mindset, you will not excel in ministry and service to God as you will have to be pushed and pulled before you serve God in church. So vision is the foundation for excellence in ministry.
Vision is the bedrock for a successful marriage as well. When marriage seminars are organised, some young people don't take part because they think such seminars do not concern them. Some of these young people later find it difficult when it is time to make the right choice of partner. They find themselves in such situations because they didn't have a vision of a good marriage well in advance of time. Vision makes you start careful planning of your family, finance, children and career when other people think it is still far way.
Today is the day to get a vision for every aspect of your life from God; present your life to Him and discover what He wants you to do, where He wants you to go and what He fashioned you for. I pray you will not miss your place in destiny.

Prayer/Action
* Ask God to give you a vision for living.
* Pray against a vision-less living.
* Pray that every dormant vision in your life should come alive and strong.

PROPHETIC PRAYER
As I march through March, I shall march into joy and gladness; no good thing will be denied me in this month, in the name of Jesus.

The Wealthy Place

Thursday 3 March
READ: Psa. 66: 12
MORE LESSON: Psa. 23:1 - 6

The text for today says, Thou hast caused men to ride over our heads; we went through fire and through water: but thou broughtest us out into a wealthy place. Beloved, there is a place called the wealthy place. It is a place of comfort where the problems and the afflictions of men are settled. Some things you struggle with in life naturally disappear when you get to the wealthy place. In Gen 13: 2, we see that God took Abraham to the wealthy place: Abram had become very wealthy in livestock and in silver and gold: Gen 13:2 (NIV). So, part of the covenant of Abraham is the covenant of the wealthy place. As a child of God, you are entitled to the wealthy place.
Psalm 23:5 says, The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want. He maketh me to lie down in green pastures: he leadeth me beside the still waters. He restoreth my soul . . . Thou preparest a table before me in the presence of mine enemies: thou anointest my head with oil; my cup runneth over.... This scripture is talking about the wealthy place. It is a place where lack doesn't exist. In search for the wealthy place, people relocate, travel and do a lot of things. Many travel to America, Europe or Asia looking for opportunities for wealth, but I hereby announce to you that the wealthy place is not in a nation, it is in God. Whatever your geographical location, you can live in the wealthy place. You live in the wealthy place when the Lord is your Shepherd. You don't need to run around looking for 'greener pastures' because He makes you lie down in green pastures right where you are.
In the text of today, the people had been overrun, despised and reproached but God didn't allow them to end in slavery. They were afflicted through the fire and flood but at last, God brought them to the wealthy place. This shall be your testimony. No matter what you are going through, God has prepared a wealthy place for you. It is a land where you shall eat bread without scarcity, ... a land whose stones are iron, and out of whose hills thou mayest dig brass. When thou hast eaten and art full, then thou shalt bless the LORD thy God for the good land which he hath given thee: Deut 8:9-10. God will take you to your wealthy place today, in Jesus’ name.

Prayer/Action
* Ask God, by His mercies, to take you to the wealthy place.
* Pray that this year, tables of abundance will be prepared before you.
* Ask God to take you out of struggles and endless labour.
* Pray that you will never lose contact with the Lord of increase.

PROPHETIC PRAYER
I decree that as the month increases, so shall my greatness increase this month, in the mighty name of Jesus.

Awake my Glory, Don't Sleep

Tuesday 1 March
READ: II Sam. 9:1-13
MORE LESSON: Psa. 57:7-8

A glory can sleep for not every man that carries glory manifests the remarkable. The reason is because some people's glory is active while some people’s is sleeping or inactive. There are abilities that have been incapacitated by satanic spirits inside you, and until you increase your flame on your knees, the glory will not wake up. You must get out of your comfort zone and go to a solitary place and awaken your glory; that is, what God has placed inside you for your glory but which is lying dormant. There must be a doing, a pursuing of the glory for it to be manifested. There is one thing that you will do, which will announce your name to the whole world and awaken your glory.
Some people have, by ordinary cooking, stepped into glory. Others have been announced by service, prayer, giving, divine contact e.t.c. Get something doing; wake up the glory inside of you. The story of Mephiboseth interests me. This man was a disaster as he lost the throne and was crippled. He was a prince but bare and deserted. One day David asked for someone from the house of Saul to whom he could show mercy. And nobody else was remembered except this lame man. They brought Mephiboseth to David the king, and he restored to him the land of his grandfather, Saul (2 Sam. 9:10).
Saul acquired a lot of property when he was reigning over Israel. If you remember the words of Prophet Samuel about the type of king Israel was going to have, you will agree that Saul accumulated riches for himself, putting the people under hard labour and mandating them to pay tax to him. So when David restored all the lands that Saul had to Mephiboseth he virtually made him one of the richest in the land of Israel. The servant of Mephiboseth was Ziba, and Ziba himself had fifteen sons and twenty servants. That was the servant of Mephiboseth. Something happened to Mephiboseth's glory in the spiritual that he became an owner of servants so much that even his servant, Ziba, started hiring servants. May God restore your sleeping glory back to you today.
God used David to awaken and restore the glory of Mephiboseth. I don’t know what He will use for you. It may be your prayer, service, fasting, giving, righteous living, favour, divine help that God will use. Whatever He will use, I command your glory to awaken today, in Jesus’ name.

Prayer/Action
* Command every dormant glory in you to wake up now.
* Rebuke every force that makes destinies dormant to give up over you.
* Ask God to connect you with glory lifters, in the mighty name of Jesus.

PROPHETIC PRAYER
Father thank you for giving me January, February and now march; I give all the praise on my knees, in Jesus’ mighty name.
