The Key to Destiny 1

Keys are essential in life. Without keys, there is no access. If you do not have the key to a door, no matter how much grammar you speak, it remains locked. An aged man without the key is helpless before a door while a small child with the key has power over that door. Have you ever seen a man locked up and then given the key to the lock? Locking up a man that possesses a key is a journey in futility. When God wants to make the enemies to have a futile and frustrated journey over your life, He gives you the key. A key is the power of freedom and the ease of access; it empowers you to reign in the very presence of your enemies.
I want you to know that there are keys to everything in life. Just as there are keys to houses, keys to towns, keys to cities and nations; there is the key to health, wealth, life, greatness and everything you desire. Rev. 3: 7 says, and to the angel of the church in Philadelphia write; These things saith he that is holy, he that is true, he that hath the key of David, he that openeth, and no man shutteth; and shutteth, and no man openeth. There is a key that is above all keys and it is held by the One who has the name that is above all names. This key can open any door and when it opens a door, nothing can shut that door. It also can shut all doors and when it shuts a door, that door remains shut. Jesus Christ is the custodian of the key of resurrection and life. In fact, beyond being the Carrier of the key, He is the Key that opens all things. Jesus came and died, he went to the devil's domain and defeated all the hosts of darkness. He prevailed over them and spoilt them. He collected the key of death from the devil and rose victorious from the dead. After resurrection, He boldly declared, I am he that liveth, and was dead; and, behold, I am alive for evermore, Amen; and have the keys of hell and of death: Rev 1:18.
Jesus doesn't have only the key to wealth, health, peace, joy and eternal life, He also has the key to death and hell. So it is obvious why when you are in league with Him, you will not see untimely death. When you live by His righteousness and holiness, you will never go to hell. This is because He holds the keys of death and hell and He will not use these keys against you. You can also be sure that as you follow Jesus, you will enjoy abundant life, health, greatness and success on every side. He holds the key to these and He will use that key in your favour, this year, in Jesus’ name.

Prayer/Action
* Lord, give me the key that opens 2016.
* I command every closed door of destiny to open, in the name of Jesus.
* I can do all things through Christ who is the Master Key.

Satan will remain a loser over my destiny in this fifth month, in the name of Jesus

The Grace to Do

Sunday 1 May

One of the first things that was revealed about God in the Bible is that God is a speaking God. Our God is not a dumb and deaf God like the idols of men; He is God of words. In fact God is the Word and the Word is God. So as a child of God, in the similitude of your Father, nothing should shut your mouth in defeat. You must learn how to speak the Word.
I want you to know that God is not just a speaking God, He is a doing God. God is not interested in mere speakers, He is looking for doers. Jesus spoke a parable in Matt 21: 28 – 31 about a man that had two sons. He asked the first son to go work in the vineyard and the son said he would not go but later repented, and went. He spoke to the second son to go and the son said that he would go but he didn't go. Which of these two sons do you think did the will of the father? The father was pleased with the one that eventually went and not the one that said that he would go but did not do so.
But be ye doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving your own selves: James 1:22. The Kingdom of God is not for talkers or hearers or even preachers. It is for doers. The Kingdom is in doing. Did you know that it is not even reading the Bible that makes a man mighty? I have seen people who cannot read at all doing exploits in the Kingdom. There are people that cannot speak a fraction of the vocabulary you speak and do not know as many scriptures as you do, healing the sick and raising the dead. The differentiating mark is in taking steps. There are many people who know all the memory verses on tithes and offerings but don't give. You may know all the methods of evangelism but unless you go and take steps no souls will be saved in the comfort of your room. You do not need great preaching to be a great man of God, you only need great actions borne out of great faith. When any man of godly actions speaks on even little things, the Lord breathes mightily on them.
There is a grace that falls upon a man and he is no longer content with talking, theologising and even preaching, he wants to see God at work in his life. It is this grace that must come upon you in your business, ministry and work. When God baptises you with this grace, you become a man of exploits. Today, receive the grace to do great things, in Jesus’ name.

Prayer/Action
* Lord, help me not to be just a hearer but a doer of Your instructions.
* I receive grace today to do the will of God more than ever before.
* I receive supernatural ability to do beyond my natural strength, in Jesus’ mighty name.

PROPHETIC PRAYER
Father, thank You for denying Satan his desire to stop me from seeing the fifth month, in the name of Jesus.

Peace

Saturday 30 April

Peace means tranquility, rest, well-being, prosperity, health, healing and every good thing you can think of. The Hebrew word for peace is the word 'shalom'. Everything you are looking for in life and eternity is inside that word. However, in the world today one of the things that seems to elude men the most is peace. Many live and there is no peace at home, no peace at work, no peace in their finances, no peace in their body. There is fear, worry and unrest all over them. The question today is, “Do you have peace, can you sincerely look into your heart and say that you are full of peace?” I pray that the Lord will give you peace today and turn your life around.
Jesus said, Peace I leave with you, My peace I give to you; not as the world gives do I give to you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid: Jn. 14:27 (NKJV). It is Jesus that gives peace, so any life without Christ is full of crises. Peace will always elude a man living in sin. The way to overcome every crisis in life and live in peace is to stay in righteousness. No man who lives in sin can have peace. Many people indulge in sin and they put up a façade of enjoying life but they are only faking it. It is all a lie, deep inside, there is emptiness and restlessness. Going to parties, getting drunk, sleeping around or going out with friends to 'catch fun' will never fill the void that is created by the absence of peace in a life. It is righteousness that brings peace. The Bible says, The fruit of righteousness will be peace; the effect of righteousness will be quietness and confidence forever: Isa 32:17 (NIV). A man that does not have Jesus in his life is categorised by God as a wicked man. The man could be rich, he could be popular, he may be a politician, a star artiste or a philanthropist. As long as he is a sinner, he is regarded as a wicked man by Heaven and the Bible says that there is no peace for the wicked ( Isa. 57: 21) .
Today as you accept the righteousness that is freely available through the blood of Jesus and you continue in it by exhibiting His righteousness in your life and deeds, there is one thing that I can assure you - that is 'Peace unto you.'

* Prophesy peace all around you today, in Jesus’ name.
* Today, decree the peace of God in every storm and trouble situation, in Jesus’ name

Satan, all your acts and plans over my life ends with this day and this month, in the name of Jesus.

Applying your Heart to Wisdom 2

READ: Eph 5: 15 - 16
MORE LESSON: Psa 90: 12

Psa. 90:12 talks about the need to number our days if we must apply our hearts to wisdom and we have pointed out that numbering our days involves making sure we spend each day maximally to the glory of God and the fulfilment of our purpose in destiny. The Bible also links being wise to redeeming the time in our days. Eph 5: 15 -16 says, See that thou walk circumspectly, not as fools but as wise, redeeming the time, because the days are evil. There are many forces that contend with your day. There are evil forces outside that have planned negative things for the day and there are also forces from within that are drawing you to do things that would not profit your day. There are things in the day that are beyond the visible eyes wanting men to do things that at the end of life he will regret all. This is the reason why you need to apply the force of God in prayer and meditation to help you to carefully organise and plan each day of your life. You also need to receive strength in the secret place to go forth each day and achieve all that is set for the day. It is the consciousness in a man that there are forces to contend with each day that makes him prayerful.
A vital key to be able to have a day full of life and profit is to be mindful from the beginning of the day how we spend it. You should labour in prayer, not just for the day but for days ahead. You need to receive grace for wisdom in making decisions each day and knowing the activities to get into and those to avoid. Redeem your day and maximise it. Never rush out any day to go and beat the wind. Receive wisdom and power from God to make the day productive, fruitful, and result-filled and then step out to prevail over the day. When you live in the wisdom of redeeming the day, at the end of life when you put days together, you will be happy. The only way to prevail over the forces of the day is by the power of God. The Word of God, the name of Jesus, the blood of Jesus and the power of the Holy Spirit are all fortifications that make you go forth in victory each day. Do not go into the day without these.
Receive fruitful days, months and years, in the name of Jesus.

Prayer/Action
* Bind every force contending with your life’s activities.
* Receive the grace to be fruitful in every activity you do today.
* Cover yourself with God’s favour to profit today.

Father, let my flesh and blood become poison to all blood suckers and flesh eaters, in Jesus’ name.
