Memory Verse: For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, they are the sons of God. Romans 8:14

Great men of God are not great because of talent, knowledge or fame. They are great because of their consistency with the Holy Spirit. Behind every enduring ministry and fruitful Christian life is a deep, unbroken walk with the Spirit. Consistency — not intensity — is the secret.

Looking at our fathers of faith, one common trait stands out: a relentless walk with the Holy Spirit. These men are not just occasionally filled; they are constantly communing. Their strength lies in their sustained intimacy with the Spirit. Praying occasionally or waiting for special services to encounter God is not enough. The Holy Spirit desires to be your daily companion — your Teacher, Comforter and Guide. When you cultivate this relationship daily, you carry His presence effortlessly and gain access to divine insight and unusual strength.

One of the secrets to consistency is yielding. Be sensitive to the Spirit’s promptings. Spend time in prayer, not as a duty but as a delight. Study the Word with the Holy Spirit as your Interpreter. Speak in tongues, sing spiritual songs and create an atmosphere where the Spirit is not just welcomed but enthroned. This invisible walk sustains greatness in the Kingdom. You may not see immediate results, but your life will bear undeniable proof over time. Just like our fathers of faith — constantly saving prayers and being always connected — let your life be a continuous flow of communion.

Don’t live occasionally in the spirit; live consistently. The Holy Spirit is not just for emergencies but for everyday living. Make Him your closest friend; let your life be saturated with His presence — in your thoughts, speech, decisions and actions. True greatness is not in occasional moments of fire but a life of unbroken flame. Walk with the Spirit, always.

Prayer/Action

* Ask God for mercy if your are only being led by your natural senses.

* Ask the Holy Spirit to help you maintain a constant and continuous walk with Him.

* Ask the Lord for help to yield to His leading every day.

TODAY’S PROPHETIC PRAYER: Every form of smallness manifesting in any area of my life, I command to catch fire now, in the name of Jesus.

Unbelievable Love II

SCRIPTURE FOR TODAY: Isaiah 53:1-10

1 Who hath believed our report? and to whom is the arm of the LORD revealed? 2 For he shall grow up before him as a tender plant, and as a root out of a dry ground: he hath no form nor comeliness; and when we shall see him, there is no beauty that we should desire him. 3 He is despised and rejected of men; a man of sorrows, and acquainted with grief: and we hid as it were our faces from him; he was despised, and we esteemed him not. 4 Surely he hath borne our griefs, and carried our sorrows: yet we did esteem him stricken, smitten of God, and afflicted. 5 But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon him; and with his stripes we are healed. 6 All we like sheep have gone astray; we have turned every one to his own way; and the LORD hath laid on him the iniquity of us all. 7 He was oppressed, and he was afflicted, yet he opened not his mouth: he is brought as a lamb to the slaughter, and as a sheep before her shearers is dumb, so he openeth not his mouth. 8 He was taken from prison and from judgment: and who shall declare his generation? for he was cut off out of the land of the living: for the transgression of my people was he stricken. 9 And he made his grave with the wicked, and with the rich in his death; because he had done no violence, neither was any deceit in his mouth. 10 Yet it pleased the LORD to bruise him; he hath put him to grief: when thou shalt make his soul an offering for sin, he shall see his seed, he shall prolong his days, and the pleasure of the LORD shall prosper in his hand.

MORE LESSON: Romans 5:1-8

1 Therefore being justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ: 2 By whom also we have access by faith into this grace wherein we stand, and rejoice in hope of the glory of God. 3 And not only so, but we glory in tribulations also: knowing that tribulation worketh patience; 4 And patience, experience; and experience, hope: 5 And hope maketh not ashamed; because the love of God is shed abroad in our hearts by the Holy Ghost which is given unto us. 6 For when we were yet without strength, in due time Christ died for the ungodly. 7 For scarcely for a righteous man will one die: yet peradventure for a good man some would even dare to die. 8 But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.

Memory Verse: Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? Shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword? Romans 8:35

The foundation of the Christian faith is the truth about the death and resurrection of the Lord Jesus Christ. Anyone who does not believe that Jesus came, died and rose from the dead is not a Christian. The Christian faith does not exist without this truth. Several people cannot accept this fact about the Lord because it sounds unbelievable to a natural man. It's incomprehensible to the carnal, natural man how the following things about Jesus Christ, the One and Only Messiah, could be true.

1. The Son of God could go through intense pain as described by the prophet Isaiah. But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities; the chastisement of our peace was upon him; and by his stripes we are healed: Isaiah 53:5. No one wants to be wounded, have bad cuts from which blood flows freely as Jesus experienced except for criminals, who go through such by force. Jesus unbelievably went through pain, so who is man not to? He was deeply wounded and scourged with the Roman whip used for hardened criminals of those days.

2. He died for ungodly and sinful men. But God demonstrates His love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us (Romans 5:8). Hardly will men die for a good man, but Jesus went ahead to die for sinners, making provision for even unborn men, who have all sinned and fallen short of the glory of God (Romans 3:23).

3. Jesus became a substitute for us by taking our place, receiving God's punishment for our sin, though He was righteous and without sin. What love! That is why, having made such an excellent provision for man to escape damnation in hell, if anyone rejects this redemption package, there will be no mercy or remedy again after death. I urge you to reciprocate this unbelievable but free offer of God by entering a love relationship with Him.

4. He went to hell (sheol) to rescue men's souls as part of the redemption package. He collected the keys of hell and death from Satan.

5. He paid the price for us to have a change of status and position. We were no people, but have become members of God's family by the price Jesus paid on the cross (Ephesians 2:11-12). Now we are raised to sit at the same level with Christ in the spirit realm above all other spirits (Ephesians 2:6).

Through these acts of Christ, people can access all the goodness of God, both spiritually and physically, morally and psychologically, in every area of life. What a love! Incomparable love!

Prayer/Action

* Give God thanks for the suffering and pain he went through on your behalf so that you might be saved.

* ‎Thank Jesus for His love towards you.

* ‎Proclaim your love to God and promise to reciprocate His love to those around you.

TODAY’S PROPHETIC PRAYER: Father, in this new month, I connect with the loins of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob and step into a greater me from generation to generation, in the performing name of Jesus.

Unbelievable Love I

SCRIPTURE FOR TODAY: John 20:1-15

1 The first day of the week cometh Mary Magdalene early, when it was yet dark, unto the sepulchre, and seeth the stone taken away from the sepulchre. 2 Then she runneth, and cometh to Simon Peter, and to the other disciple, whom Jesus loved, and saith unto them, They have taken away the Lord out of the sepulchre, and we know not where they have laid him. 3 Peter therefore went forth, and that other disciple, and came to the sepulchre. 4 So they ran both together: and the other disciple did outrun Peter, and came first to the sepulchre. 5 And he stooping down, and looking in, saw the linen clothes lying; yet went he not in. 6 Then cometh Simon Peter following him, and went into the sepulchre, and seeth the linen clothes lie, 7 And the napkin, that was about his head, not lying with the linen clothes, but wrapped together in a place by itself. 8 Then went in also that other disciple, which came first to the sepulchre, and he saw, and believed. 9 For as yet they knew not the scripture, that he must rise again from the dead. 10 Then the disciples went away again unto their own home. 11 But Mary stood without at the sepulchre weeping: and as she wept, she stooped down, and looked into the sepulchre, 12 And seeth two angels in white sitting, the one at the head, and the other at the feet, where the body of Jesus had lain. 13 And they say unto her, Woman, why weepest thou? She saith unto them, Because they have taken away my Lord, and I know not where they have laid him. 14 And when she had thus said, she turned herself back, and saw Jesus standing, and knew not that it was Jesus. 15 Jesus saith unto her, Woman, why weepest thou? whom seekest thou? She, supposing him to be the gardener, saith unto him, Sir, if thou have borne him hence, tell me where thou hast laid him, and I will take him away.

MORE LESSON: Hebrews 11:28-33

28 Through faith he kept the passover, and the sprinkling of blood, lest he that destroyed the firstborn should touch them. 29 By faith they passed through the Red sea as by dry land: which the Egyptians assaying to do were drowned. 30 By faith the walls of Jericho fell down, after they were compassed about seven days. 31 By faith the harlot Rahab perished not with them that believed not, when she had received the spies with peace. 32 And what shall I more say? for the time would fail me to tell of Gedeon, and of Barak, and of Samson, and of Jephthae; of David also, and Samuel, and of the prophets: 33 Who through faith subdued kingdoms, wrought righteousness, obtained promises, stopped the mouths of lions,

Memory Verse: Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? Shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword? Romans 8:35

The love of Jesus for man is incomparable and has no equal in affection. However, there are men in the Bible who also did great things worthy of our emulation as Christians who seek to draw closer to heaven.

1. In our text today, a woman reciprocated the love of Jesus with great love when stronger men stayed in hiding. The woman's love was so compelling that she went to the graveyard alone and without fear to look for Jesus. Even after the disciples checked and left, she still stood there insisting on the body of Jesus. Thus, she became the first to see Jesus in His resurrected body (Jn.20:13-16). Mary was a practical example of passion for the Lord. She had great courage and outstanding commitment to the Lord. Is your commitment to God unshaken even when your pastor or leader is not there to supervise? Several people have gone into hiding, away from the church, because of persecutions and insurgencies. Will you also go away? Mary stayed devoted for over 2000 years, and over 2000 years later, we still read her testimony. Receive courage to serve God even in the face of persecution and threats, and you will have a testimony of victory.

2. In Luke 8:1-3, there is a record of women who sustained Jesus' earthly ministry with their resources. They were so committed and regular in their support that the Bible recorded it and etched their names on tablets of gold. God expects you to use your material wealth to serve Him. Your attendance in church is good and imperative, but your blessing will not come until you serve the Lord with your substance. It is part of reciprocating Jesus' love.

3. There is an unbelievable and extraordinary chronicle in Hebrews 11 of men who believed in God and did great exploits. Sarah and Abraham conceived in old age (Hebrews 11:11); Moses forsook the Egyptian crown to follow Jehovah (Hebrews 11:24-27), and many others. And what more shall I say? For the time would fail me to tell of Gideon, and of Barak, and Samson, and of Jephthae, of David also, and Samuel, and of the Prophets: who through faith subdued kingdoms, wrought righteousness, obtained promises, stopped the mouths of lions, quenched the violence of fire, escaped the edge of the sword, out of weakness were made strong, waxed valiant in fight, turned to flight the armies of the aliens: Hebrews 11:32-34.

They did all these because of their faith, although they were Old Testament saints. We who are of the New Testament owe God more because the precious blood of Jesus has given us a better covenant than the Old Testament's.

Prayer/Action

* Ask God to grant you the grace to love him unconditionally.

* Ask God to help you stay devoted to Him and His word.

* Ask God to grant you the grace to be a kingdom financier.

TODAY’S PROPHETIC PRAYER: By the mercies of God that gave me this new month, every day of it shall speak glorious things about me, in the name of Jesus.

Removing Reproaches II

SCRIPTURE FOR TODAY: Joshua 5:9

9 And the LORD said unto Joshua, This day have I rolled away the reproach of Egypt from off you. Wherefore the name of the place is called Gilgal unto this day.

MORE LESSON: Psalm 137:1-9

1 By the rivers of Babylon, there we sat down, yea, we wept, when we remembered Zion. 2 We hanged our harps upon the willows in the midst thereof. 3 For there they that carried us away captive required of us a song; and they that wasted us required of us mirth, saying, Sing us one of the songs of Zion. 4 How shall we sing the LORD'S song in a strange land? 5 If I forget thee, O Jerusalem, let my right hand forget her cunning. 6 If I do not remember thee, let my tongue cleave to the roof of my mouth; if I prefer not Jerusalem above my chief joy. 7 Remember, O LORD, the children of Edom in the day of Jerusalem; who said, Rase it, rase it, even to the foundation thereof. 8 O daughter of Babylon, who art to be destroyed; happy shall he be, that rewardeth thee as thou hast served us. 9 Happy shall he be, that taketh and dasheth thy little ones against the stones.

Monday, 1 September

Memory Verse: And the LORD said unto Joshua, This day have I rolled away the reproach of Egypt from off you. Wherefore the name of the place is called Gilgal unto this day. Joshua 5:9

The Israelites were in bondage for over 400 years in Egypt. They were the children of the covenant of Abraham, but adversities kept them below what God intended for them. They were living in reproach. Reproaches are things in your life that make you feel ashamed, doubt what God has promised you and make you less than what God has planned for you.

Until the reproaches of a people are taken away, they remain ashamed, enslaved and afflicted. That was what happened to the nation of Israel in the land of Egypt, where they were slaves. Until they were delivered from slavery and the reproaches that came with it, they could not enter their glorious inheritance. This is the reason God stretched out His hands to deliver them from slavery under Pharaoh. When they were about to enter Canaan, God told Joshua to circumcise the children of Israel, saying, This day have I rolled away the reproach of Egypt from off you: Josh 5:9.

In the same way, the Israelites were slaves; there are many living in the reproach of slavery today. Slavery is a condition of bondage that, even if you know it exists, you can't help yourself out of it. It could be physical slavery where your body is in a situation which you do not like but cannot rectify, or financial slavery when you are unable to pay your bills and resort to begging for food, clothes and shelter. Spiritual slavery is a life of sin, addiction, habits and demonic oppression which you can't help yourself out of. These are the reproaches that must be removed for your glory to manifest. To remove reproaches, you must speak against the forces that sponsor the shame. Prophesy against everything in your life that God has not said concerning you. You can also engage the forces of prayer to destroy every force of reproach over your life. I prophesy over you according to the Word of the Lord; this day I have rolled away the reproach of Egypt from off you in Jesus' name.

Prayer/Action

* Ask God to deliver you from every form of reproach and take you to your glorious inheritance.

* Ask God to deliver you from every form of spiritual slavery.

TODAY’S PROPHETIC PRAYER: God of heaven and the God of my life, thank You, is not enough for the gift of the ninth month; I am eternally grateful, in Jesus' wonderful name.
