The Interpreters

Monday 31 July
READ: Gen. 40: 1-22
MORE LESSON: 2 Pet. 3: 14 - 18

There is power in accessing God's revelations through people to whom He has committed His Word. There are people of God to whom He has given special understanding in certain areas, whose teachings are the solution to your present predicament. You might have prayed and read the Bible and you seem not to be getting the answer on your own but when you search carefully you will realise that God committed the answer to certain people and it is your responsibility to learn from them. God's servants are like interpreters that are rich in God’s Word and can help you understand and apply the Word to your present situation in simple and practical terms.
This is why it is very paramount to read good books by proven servants of God. Reading devotionals, listening to tapes and CDs of genuine men of God are ways of getting the Word of God through His servants. I have met some believers that think they have all knowledge; they don't consult books or messages, they don't write when others preach. They claim they can get everything they want direct from God and do not need intermediaries. Jesus is the only intermediary between God and man but there are interpreters that God has chosen for different areas of Christian life and special revelations are given to them.
It is analogous to the fact that everybody can read and even have a copy of the Constitution but lawyers are specially prepared to interpret the law and one may get into trouble if he is in court and insists that he does not want a lawyer because he can equally speak English. In fact, there are different lawyers with different specialties for different fields. You must learn to obtain God's counsel through the teachings of His servants.
In the more lesson of today, Peter who was a senior apostle testified about Apostle Paul that there were some special revelations and the wisdom that God had given to him and he advised others to receive revelation through Paul or else they would be damned if they twist scriptures. Maybe some of them felt that until God sent an angel personally to tell them about justification by faith, they would not agree with Paul telling them that justification is now by faith and not by the law anymore. However, God had already committed that gospel to Paul and He expected them to learn from him. It was either they listened to him or missed from God's agenda for the season.
Today, God's word to you is that as much as you personally stay to get revelations from God through His Word, you must not neglect the ministry of His servants to whom He has committed His word so that your blessing can be holistic.

Prayer/Action
* Give God thanks for the leader of your local assembly and for the revelations of God through him, in the mighty name of Jesus.
* Pray that he will remain a voice for God, relevant for all seasons, in Jesus’ name.
* Pray that the grace of God will also fall upon you for a great work, in Jesus’ name.

TODAY’S PROPHETIC PRAYER
Father, as July draws to an end let them that trouble my soul be closed down with July, in the mighty name of Jesus.

Obtaining good Counsel

Sunday 30 July
READ: Prov .11: 14
MORE LESSON: Prov. 24: 6

It is important to get counsel before you take decisions in life. There are different ways of obtaining good counsel, but all the ways must ultimately point to God, who is the only good Counsellor. You can get good counsel through the Word of God, the voice of the Holy Spirit to you or through people that God has positioned to supply His counsel to you.
There are people that God has chosen as His representatives to counsel. It is not every believer that has developed themselves to the extent of obtaining God's counsel on every matter on their own. So while they gradually grow to the point where they can hear God clearly on every issue, the Lord has made provision of people who are more mature in the Body of Christ through whom they can obtain God's counsel. If you are a counsellor, know that you are God's representative; you should not just give people counsel based on what you think is a nice idea. You should hear God on behalf of the people. In fact there is nothing wrong if someone comes to you for counsel and you tell him to give you time to hear God on the matter. A good counsellor is not an alpha omega who always has all the answers, he is merely a representative and spokesman for God.
There was a time when the king of Babylon didn't know how to resolve an issue and he needed counsel; so they sought Daniel who had an excellent spirit. If a whole king needs counsellors, then there is no reason why any man should feel too big to obtain counsel from other people. There are people to whom God has given the answer to your question, you will save yourself a lot of troubles when you go and meet them. Even if you are also a counsellor; you need to know that a counselor also needs to be counselled sometimes. The truth is that so many believers are embarrassed to go for counselling because they think it shows that they do not know. On the other hand, it is the people that know who go for counselling – at least, they know that they need counsel. The one that doesn't go to be counselled is the one that doesn't know - he doesn't even know that he needs to be counselled.
In my years as a pastor, I found that most times in the church, when you check the people that come for counselling, the workers and leaders are not part of them. It leaves me wondering whether being a worker or a leader means that one knows everything. Even as pastors, we need counselling and we go to those that God has given a higher measure of grace to get it. There is safety and progress in getting good counsel. Pray for the grace to get good counsel.

Prayer/Action
* Ask God to fill you with the Spirit of counsel and might, in Jesus’ name.
* Pray that you will not lack good counsel at any point in life, in Jesus’ name.
* Pray that God will fill your leaders (spiritual and physical) with wisdom to direct you always, in Jesus’ mighty name.

TODAY’S PROPHETIC PRAYER
Rock of Ages, my confidence and defence is in You, let me not be ashamed and let not my enemies triumph over me, in the mighty name of Jesus.

Sacrificial Exchange

Saturday 29 July
READ: 2 Cor. 5: 15
MORE LESSON: Rom. 5: 6 - 8

Two identical twins were living together. The first was a rogue while the second was a child of God, who always implored his brother to accept Jesus but his preaching fell on deaf ears. The rascally brother continued in wanton living and revelry. One day, he ran home drunk and soaked in blood. He had fought at a party and mistakenly murdered someone. A crowd followed in pursuit as he hurriedly staggered home. He got home in the middle of the night and quickly locked the door behind him. The twin brother who was peacefully sleeping woke up as his brother dashed in and the police with a crowd banging at the door. He asked what the problem was and he cried as he narrated how a fight broke out at the party and he stabbed someone with a broken bottle. He never meant to kill the fellow but he did, and the whole lot of people and police were after him to arrest him for murder. He started begging the brother not to throw him out. By this time, the police were near breaking the door to come in and get him.
The brother looked sternly at the villain and knew that he would be sentenced to death for man slaughter. He further reasoned that he was born again and if he died, he would make Heaven but if his brother was killed, he would go straight to hell. So he took the blood stained clothe from his brother, put it on and stepped out before the police succeeded in breaking the door. He told his brother before he stepped out, 'I want to go and die in your place, promise that you will surrender your life to Jesus after I am gone'. Thus he surrendered himself to the police, who promtly arrested and charged him to court where he was declared guilty and was sentenced to death by execution.
This story depicts how Jesus died in our place so that we can escape eternal damnation in hell. He took our sins and was condemned to die even though He was innocent. The only thing He demands of us is to live for Him, having died for us. Jesus Christ took the judgement made for you so that you will not die but live. You have no right to live for yourself anymore; you should live for the One who died for you, I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me: and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me, and gave himself for me. Gal. 2:20.

Prayer/Action
* Give thanks to God for giving Jesus as the sacrificial Lamb for you, in Jesus’ name.
* Tell Jesus you will not turn away from His love, in Jesus’ name.
* Declare to the Lord that you will spread the news to someone today.

TODAY’S PROPHETIC PRAYER
I will trust in the Lord and He shall lead me in the path of righteousness all the days of my life, in the mighty name of Jesus.

Enemy from the Rear

Friday 28 July
READ: 1 Sam. 30: 1 – 20
MORE LESSON: Psa. 18: 36 – 49

David and his men went out from their camp to battle in Ziklag. But before they came back, the Amalekites had invaded the land and took all their families and possessions. They were absent for 3 days and the enemy took advantage of their absence. The Amalekites were opportunists who took advantage of David's absence to wreak havoc on him. Every satanic invasion of your life and business that takes advantage of you will be utterly crushed, in Jesus’ name. Everyone that has taken advantage of you will be exploited by the Lord, He will turn the table on them, in Jesus’ name.
One of the most difficult battles to fight is the battle from the rear. It is difficult to win a battle you didn't prepare for as you never saw it coming. David went to war without leaving anyone to defend the rear. He left the house and the enemy invaded in His absence. This shows that even as we pursue things in life, we must learn to protect what the Lord has already given to us. Do not pursue gain to the detriment of what you have already gained.
David enquired of the Lord and the Lord told him to pursue the enemy and he would recover all. In dealing with the enemy from the rear, you need prayer and God's direction. It was as David pursued according to the Word of the Lord that he saw an Egyptian that lay on the ground about to die. They helped the man by giving him food and drink. David had his own trouble but when he saw another man that was in dire need, he put aside his own trouble and looked for a way to solve the man's problem. David was trying to help someone else but he didn't know that that was the key to dealing with his enemies. It is when you sow a seed of lifting to the person below you that you are lifted by those above you. After the man was restored, he led them to where the enemy was and David also attacked them from the rear. He caught them unawares just as they had earlier caught him unprepared.
In dealing with the enemies from the rear, you need prayers, the instruction of the Lord and the seed of kindness to others. For instance, an enemy in your office may hide your file, but some junior staff, whose life you have touched positively, see the file and bring it out. The enemy from the rear is watching you while you are not watching. So prayers, hearing God and sowing seeds of kindness to other people will be your defence. It is the people whose lives you have touched that will arise to fight your enemies even when you are not aware that a battle is taking place. Today, commit all your sides to God, both front and back, because except the Lord keeps the CCTV the watchman works in vain (Psa. 127:1).

Prayer/Action
* Declare that the Lord is your shield and defence, no enemy shall prevail against you, in the mighty name of Jesus.
* Cover your household with the blood of Jesus.

TODAY’S PROPHETIC PRAYER
Father, standing on Your promises I sign up today for progress and unprecedented success, in the mighty name of Jesus.

Mr. Self II

Thursday 27 July
READ: Gal. 5: 19 - 24
MORE LESSON: 1 Cor. 13: 1 – 8

As I worked among students in my early days in ministry, I noticed that when you go to rooms where believers lived together, you would meet everywhere untidy and scattered, whereas some that kept a separate room had it tidy and clean. I began to wonder what was responsible for this. On pressing a bit further, I began to hear from those that stayed together, “I cleaned the room yesterday, he does not even arrange the shoes. Does he think I'm a fool?” Even though they were Christians, self began to take its toll on them.
When self enters the home, it brings troubles along. This is the reason you must make sure you give no room for selfishness in your life and home. One of the things that self introduces is anger. It makes you angry with the other person; you believe the other person is the problem. However, the problem is the self - seeking nature in you. This is because even when the person does wrong, if you are selfless and full of love, you will overlook the faults. Self brings bitterness and strife. You can't even smile at a fellow believer any more. It is self that makes a sister avoid speaking to another in the church because of ill feelings. Self brings envy and it is rooted in pride.
In the kingdom of sin, there is a kind of chain reaction that happens. No sin works alone; it is linked to other sins and drags them in wherever it is given opportunity. If you are angry with someone, you might become bitter about the person and so you begin to backbite or slander the victim. Before you know it you have hatred in your heart and then you behave badly towards the person that even you are surprised at yourself.
This is the reason why you must nip sin in the bud before the chain reaction starts. The way to do it is that whenever you see any manifestation of self that wants to suggest wrong to you about a person, quickly silence it by the love of God. When you don't even feel like loving the person because of something he/she has done, you have to make yourself walk in love. The love of God is the cure for selfishness. Let love find expression through you. Love both those that deserve and those that do not deserve to be loved. The Bible says that love covers a multitude of sins. So if you are walking in love towards someone and the other person takes you for a ride, you just keep walking in love. It is not because you are a fool; it is because you have crucified self. Do not let selfishness rule you, rather dominate self by God's love.

Prayer/Action
* Pray that the true Christian character will be seen in all that you do, in Jesus’ name.
* Ask God for grace to live a crucified life, in Jesus’ mighty name.
* Destroy the manifestation of flesh you have been battling with, in Jesus’ name.

TODAY’S PROPHETIC PRAYER
As the Lord lives I shall not be a slave in destiny, I shall rise and not be beneath, in the mighty name of Jesus.

Mr. Self I

Wednesday 26 July
READ: Phil. 2: 3 – 12
MORE LESSON: Luke 12: 17 – 20

Selfishness is the source of all sins in a man's life. At the root of every sin is the desire to gratify self. Col 3: 9 says, Lie not one to another, seeing that ye have put off the old man with his deeds. Self is the 'old man' - the selfish nature that makes man to sin. When self is exalted in a man's life, he always thinks of himself above others and wants to be seen as number one. Self is that unregenerated part of a man that is unhappy when he sees another person with something better than what he has.
Selfishness is the root of all wrongdoing. Sin has its source in a man thinking of himself only without giving a thought to what the other person or God wants. This is the reason a man will take another man's property without giving thought to how the owner would feel. It is why a politician would embezzle billions of naria and use it for himself and his family while countless others are left in poverty and lack. That is why a man would leave his wife and children at home and be pursuing young girls. The man is only thinking of gratifying himself; he is not thinking of his wife or the children. Selfishness can be seen even in ministry when the desire to be seen as a powerful minister is what drives a man and not the desire to see people helped and God glorified.
The rich fool in Luke 12: 17 – 20 was so full of himself and didn't care about anyone else. In his monologue recorded in the Bible, he used the words 'I' and 'my' more than ten times without taking a thought for anyone else. It was because of selfishness that he was destroyed. Phil 2:3-4 says, Let nothing be done through strife or vainglory; but in lowliness of mind let each esteem other better than themselves. Look not every man on his own things, but every man also on the things of others. All works of the flesh (Gal 5: 19 - 21) are the manifestation of selfishness in a man's life.
So how do you get out of selfishness? Love is the solution. You should not think of yourself only, you must think about the well-being of others as well. You should not live for self only, you must love your neighbour as yourself. When you love God with all your heart and your neighbour as yourself, you will not do things that will hurt God or harm your neighbour. Thus you will stay away from sin.

Prayer/Action
* Declare that the old man is crucified in you and you will no longer live to gratify its desires, in the name of Jesus.
* Ask God to help you walk in true love towards all men, in Jesus’ name.
* Bind self in your life and release yourself to God's leading, in Jesus’ name.

TODAY’S PROPHETIC PRAYER
Father, every covenant of terminal disease known and unknown to me, I terminate it over my life and family, in the mighty name of Jesus..

Godly Friends

Tuesday 25 July
READ: Prov. 18: 21-24
MORE LESSON: Dan. 2: 14 – 19

One of the secrets of success in life is having the right association. You must surround yourself with the right people if you want to go far in life. Among the people around you, your friends have a lot of influence over you. This is the reason having godly friends is not just for good companionship, it is one of the principles of success in life. Decisions are vital in the school of success, and your friends considerably influence your decisions.
As a child of God who is filled with the Spirit of God, you must develop friendship with people of same Spirit. They are the ones that can make the right contribution to your life. If you surround yourself with unbelievers, in the day of trouble, they will counsel you with the wisdom of the devil and sink you deeper in the quagmire of trouble. If you have friends that are filled with the Spirit of God, when you need help, they will speak words of God into your life and you will be lifted. To a large extent, your association determines your destiny.
Daniel had a problem because the king had instructed that all his wise men and counsellors be killed because they couldn't give him the answer to his puzzle. When they got to Daniel’s house to kill him, he begged them to give him time and quickly ran to meet his friends. He didn't start looking for godly friends that day; he had developed a viable relationship with them earlier. Don't think you can be hanging around with the wrong guys and then on the day of trouble, you look for emergency spiritual friends, it won't work. Daniel called his friends and they prayed all night. The mystery was revealed to them as they prayed and the Lord saved Daniel and his friends.
It is important to have the right friends, therefore be careful about your friends. Many times God uses your immediate companions to counsel you and satan uses your immediate companions to destroy you. Your friends are closer to you than everyone else and they are the first people to identify that you have a problem and they can influence you positively or negatively. Make good friends. Make friends with God's children in the house of God where all of you believe the same thing and are brought up to hold on to the same truths. You need godly friends in the journey of life.

Prayer/Action
* Ask God to surround you with godly people, in Jesus’ name.
* Ask God to deliver you from relationships that take you far from God.
* Pray that you will be a God sent companion to people around you in their time of need, in the mighty name of Jesus.

TODAY’S PROPHETIC PRAYER
I command the forces of good news to show up for me and fill my day, in the mighty name of Jesus.

Divine Problems

Monday 24 July
READ: Rom. 8: 28
MORE LESSON: John 21: 1 -19

I have discovered that God sometimes takes advantage of problematic situations to reveal His will to people. God can use situations – even negative ones - to help give directions and instructions. When you pass through such situations, you must be submissive and sensitive. Submissive, not to fight God's will and insist on your own way; sensitive, to pick the message the Lord is passing across and not unnecessarily delay the process. In Luke 5: 1 -11, Peter and some other would-be-disciples were fishing and they laboured for long but caught nothing. Then Jesus showed up at the river and asked to use Peter’s boat. If Peter was having a good catch, he probably would not have released the boat to the Master. However, the lack of a catch made him promtly release his boat to the Lord and the Lord used it, blessed him with a good catch and called him into ministry. It was the situation of the day that worked out God's purpose in Peter’s life.
Later in John 21: 1 – 11, Peter returned to fishing after the death and resurrection of the Lord Jesus and some of the disciples followed him. Then something happened again; he laboured and didn't catch anything. The Master showed up and instructed him to throw the net on the right side. The instruction of the Lord gave him both a good catch and restored him to ministry.
It seems whenever God needed Peter's attention, He allowed a hard time in his fishing business. Peter loved fishing and having challenges in it made him to seek the Lord who, in turn, used the opportunity to bless and restore him. The truth is that some people will not seek God passionately until they have difficulties here and there. The Lord in His love allows them to experience things that will make them come home to Him. The intent of the Lord is to use the opportunity to solve their problems and more importantly, reveal Himself to them.
By the time the Lord is revealed to them beyond the solution to their situation, they become grounded in the Lord and stand for Him irrespective of situations. For Peter's call and restoration, the Lord needed a troublesome situation to get his attention. After Peter grew and became Spirit filled, he was a rock and was established both in good and adverse situations. We should grow to the point that it is not trouble that makes us seek God; rather seek Him for who He is.
This is why Apostle Paul said, ... all things work together for good to them that love God...: Rom. 8:28. Note that all things work together only for those who love the Lord, not just anybody. When one may think one has done something wrong and is being afflicted as a consequence, Paul the apostle says God can still make it to work together for your good.

Prayer/Action
* Pray that your present situation will turn out to the praise of God, in Jesus’ name.
* Ask God to reveal Himself to you in your situation, in Jesus’ name.
* Pray that the situations of life will not turn you away from the Lord, in the mighty name of Jesus.

TODAY’S PROPHETIC PRAYER
I decree strength into my new week, I shall not be weak, I shall not faint, I shall live in good health, in the mighty name of Jesus.

Divine Pardon

Sunday 23 July
READ: 2 Sam. 24: 1 - 24
MORE LESSON: 1 Jn. 1: 7 – 9

David was a young shepherd when the Lord picked him up and made him king. The Lord increased him and he waxed greater and greater till he became very great. One day, when David had become very mighty, he decided it was time to take a census of all the people in his kingdom so that he could have an idea of how great he had become. After he counted the people, the Lord was angry with him and the Lord gave him three punishments to choose from. Either the land faced seven years of famine, or he fell into the hands of his enemies for three months or the Lord struck the land with a plague for three days. All these three were disastrous but David had learnt a lesson in his relationship with God; he had learnt the depth of the mercy and compassion of the Lord. Therefore David said, ...let us fall now into the hand of the LORD; for his mercies are great: and let me not fall into the hand of man: 2 Sam 24:14.
It is important to have an understanding of the mercies of the Lord. God is full of compassion and forgiveness. Even if you have committed a blunder and you are suffering the consequence, there is mercy for you in God. When someone suffers because of the mistake he made, men may say that it serves him right but God looks at the blood of His Son and feels compassion. God is merciful; you can always run back to Him when you err.
David chose to be struck by plague from Heaven instead of famine or for his enemies to afflict him. As the angel of the Lord went around striking people dead, David went beseeching the Lord for mercy. Then the Lord told him to sacrifice an animal on an altar. The sacrifice of the seed of that land was what broke the siege of death. The Lord saw the blood and stayed the hand of the angel of death.
David understood the mercy of the Lord and the power of the seed, so the angel of death was stopped before he destroyed all the people of Israel. The blood of Jesus also has been shed as a seed for you and every plague, pestilence and death is stayed from you. The seed of the Blood breaks the siege of death. If the blood of an animal could appease God, how much more the blood of His Son. That lamb in any case is symbolic of the Lamb of God that took away the sins of the whole world. Verses 1 and 3 tell us it was the anger of God that moved David to do this evil, that even the counsel of his army commander could not stop him. However, by a single sacrifice God reverted the evil. In the same way we are sometimes moved into acts mysteriously, but the blood of Jesus is the antidote for all errors. By truth and mercy iniquity is purged (Prov. 16:6). Never argue or justify sin, rather truthfully seek for pardon by the blood of Jesus, and bounce back again.

Prayer/Action
* Pray that God will not use your enemy’s cain as a tool of discipline for you, in Jesus’ name.
* Pray that God’s mercy will never depart from you, in Jesus’ name.

TODAY’S PROPHETIC PRAYER
I prophesy never again to have repeated tragedy and evil patterns in my life, family, and church, in the mighty name of Jesus.

God of Preparation II

Saturday 22 July
READ: 2 Kings 6: 8 -12
MORE LESSON: Psa. 23: 5

In 2 Kings 6: 8 – 12, Israel was at war with Syria and God prepared Israel ahead of every attack by prophetic prior information. Prior information prepares and preparation makes you smarter than your opponents. God revealed the enemy's plan ahead of time and made His children to be prepared. The reason for prophecy is so that you might be prepared. Our God is a God of preparation. He has fore-knowledge and so can inform us ahead to make us prepared. Don't follow a god who has no fore knowledge of what would happen. There are some people whose god is as surprised as they are when some things happen to them. Our God has the power of fore knowledge, prior information and preparation. It was preparation that brought victory to Israel in the war with Syria. Each time the enemies laid an ambush, they waited in vain because the Lord had prepared His people. Today, God will give you the prior information that will save you from destruction. Privileged information that will make you prepared to cash in on rare opportunities will also come your way today, in Jesus’ name.
Individuals must learn to prepare, the Church must learn to prepare and the nation must also learn to prepare. Economic down-turn happens because when a country is in surplus, there is no preparation ahead. Even natural disasters can be well-managed when there is preparation. On one of the occasions I was in the United States, I discovered that if a tornado or earthquake is to happen, they would start announcing it weeks before. They would start moving people away from the likely target places and putting emergency measures in place. In fact, in Israel, they are so militarily prepared that they have bunkers in every vicinity in the event of attacks. They have prepared rooms that are air tight, internally ventilated and secure, in case of a chemical attack against the country. The strength of a man is his preparation and the strength of a nation is her preparation.
So when David said, Thou prepareth a table before me in the presence of my enemies: Psa. 23:5, he was making us to understand that God gives victory over enemies by the power of preparation. This is the day when you must start preparing spiritually, mentally, academically, financially and in every way for the future that you picture. Greatness in life is at the mercy of preparation. God prepares; so if you are a true child of God, you must also learn to prepare.

Prayer/Action
* Tell the Lord to always prepare you ahead of your adversaries.
* Decree that whatever is preparing against you shall never prevail.
* Declare that honour, beauty, favour and appointment with greatness are your portion today.

TODAY’S PROPHETIC PRAYER
Father in fruitfulness I shall be fruitful, in prosperity I shall prosper, nothing that works against me shall prosper, in the mighty name of Jesus.

God of Preparation I

Friday 21 July
READ: Psa. 23: 5
MORE LESSON: Matt. 25: 1 – 12

Preparation is everything. A prepared man cannot be easily defeated. When a student that is prepared walks into an examination hall, you can see confidence ooze from him. Also, an unprepared student is not difficult to identify; you can see him physically fidgeting, panicking and looking around. If you don't want to see shame in life, you must learn to prepare. Preparation makes for orderliness and beauty. When good preparation is made, you see everything well set in its place and beautiful in its season. Preparation is the reason we spend time to dress up: we prepare to look good when we go out. Some people spend time to prepare to look good for the day but do not spend time to prepare for destiny.
I have noticed that a lot of believers don't prepare. They don't prepare for the Lord's coming; they don't prepare for examination; they don't prepare for marriage; they don't prepare for their financial future. They always want to cover everything with spiritual gymnastics. Note a man who was not saving and investing money but wasting all his resources on unnecessary things. When economic challenges and needs pile up, he starts fasting and praying. He could have avoided trouble by good preparation. Similarly, a student who didn't read and attend lectures, may wait to bring his pen to be anointed when it is exam time. No matter how anointed a pen is, if the head of the student is not anointed or is empty, there is nothing for that pen to write.
In the parable of the ten virgins, what actually differentiated the wise from the foolish was simply preparation. The five wise virgins were prepared but the five foolish virgins were unprepared (Matt. 25: 1 – 12). Eventually the five foolish virgins were trying to use prayer and emotion to do what they should have used adequate preparation to do. It is only when you prepare that you will not see shame.
Even God prepares. The Bible says about God that, Thou preparest a table before me...: Psa. 23:5. This shows that God prepares ahead of needs; God never allows Himself to be caught unprepared. Before an incident occurs, He prepares. In 1 Kings 17: 3 - 4, during the time of famine, God said to Elijah, I have prepared the brook Cherith and I have prepared ravens to bring food to you. When the brook was about to dry, God prepared a widow in Zarephath to feed Elijah. (1 Kings 17: 7 – 9). God prepared the earth and all the food that man would need before He created man. Our God is a God of preparation, and as His children, we must also learn to prepare for things ahead of time.

Prayer/Action
* Lord, prepare me as a vessel for Your glory, in Jesus’ name.
* Ask for the presence of the Lord in all that you prepare to do even today.
* Pray that you will not miss out of God's preparation for your life.

TODAY’S PROPHETIC PRAYER
Today I receive new ideas, grace, and renewal of strength to advance in destiny from glory to glory, in the name of Jesus.

The Glory for the Story

Thursday 20 July
READ: Psa. 3:1-4
MORE LESSON: Judg. 11:1-5, 12:7

Every man has a story. Some people’s stories have broken and shattered their lives while others’ stories have drawn them closer to God who is able to change a man's story into glory. When God wants to end the mysteries of a man, He gives him glory, which is much more than the story of pain, sorrow, failure, and troubles he has gone through in life. The psalmist had a story to tell; those that troubled and rose against him increased. Because of the stories around his life many told to him he could not find help even in God. No matter the troubles you have gone through in life, be sure that the glory that shall follow is greater than the story; For our light affliction, which is but for a moment, worketh for us a far more exceeding and eternal weight of glory: 2 Cor. 4:17.
Stories of different people’s lives range from those of difficulties and challenges faced in life; challenges associated with different stages of life, the good and the bad times. This makes some to believe that life has not been fair to them. The experience you may be going through could be the process that you need to get into your glory. Let not the present process or the path of life distract you from the glorious destiny ahead. The Bible records concerning Jesus Christ that for the glory that was set before Him, He endured the cross despising the shame and is now sitting down at the right hand of the throne of God.
To journey from story into the glory God has ordained for you, you must do the following things.
1. Have the picture of the glory you desire. Many times we lose sight of the glory ahead of the story at hand (Heb. 12:2).
2. Ask the Lord to end the negative story with His glory. There is always a role which God plays in every story that will end up in glory (Psa. 42:8).
3. Change the script of the story by your confession and words of prophecy upon your life. No matter what the enemy desires, it will not end as the enemy has planned. Speak a positive ending to your story. Rehearse the day of your testimony and prophesy the counsel of God for your life (Est. 9:1, 22).
4. Hope in the Lord; Why are you cast down, oh my soul? And why are you disquieted within me? Hope in God, for I shall yet praise him: Psa. 42:5.
From our text, the psalmist had a testimony of God becoming a shield for him, his glory and the lifter of his head. In the name of Jesus, your story will end in glory.

Prayer/Action
* Declare that your story will not end as the enemy desires, in Jesus' name.
* Ask God to change the story of sickness, pain, failure, and endless waiting to a glorious testimony, victory, great beauty and triumph, in Jesus' name.

TODAY’S PROPHETIC PRAYER
I command the love of God for my life to swallow up every force of hatred and bad luck over my destiny, in Jesus' name.

Waiters don't Waste

Wednesday 19 July
READ: Psa. 123:1-4
MORE LESSON: Psa. 27:13-14

In this generation, people are always in a hurry to do one thing or the other. Unfortunately, many have missed their blessings because of hasty decisions. Solomon, the wise king of Israel, counselled against haste in acquiring property, An inheritance may be gotten hastily at the beginning; but the end thereof shall not be blessed: Prov. 20:21. In life, one is bound to be a waiter at one time or the other for marriage partner, children, healing, promotion, admission etc. It has never been easy to wait. It takes patience, assurance, hope, expectation and at times, lots of sacrifice. All waiters must have the attitude of a servant to his master.
David gave us the secret, Behold, as the eyes of servants look unto the hand of their masters, and as the eyes of a maiden unto the hand of her mistress; so our eyes wait upon the LORD our God, until that he have mercy upon us: Psa. 123:2. A servant that cannot wait on his master cannot be relevant in the household of his master. To remain relevant in God's household you must cultivate the habit of waiting on the Lord in prayer, fasting, praise, worship and thanksgiving. True waiters that don't compromise in the waiting time are always rewarded. The psalmist testifies to this, They looked unto him, and were lightened: and their faces were not ashamed: Psa. 34:5. Waiting attracts divine attention, The eyes of the LORD are upon the righteous, and his ears are open unto their cry: Psa. 34:15.
God has never denied waiters of their righteous desires. Are you a waiter? Don't give up, don't despair. Waiters will not be put to shame and they don't waste. God is not unaware of your state and He does not rejoice in your pain, therefore wait. If there are things you need to do while you wait, keep doing them, don't slack, your day is already here. In Matt. 7:11, Jesus talked about the God that answers prayer, If ye then, being evil, know how to give good gifts unto your children, how much more shall your Father which is in heaven give good things to them that ask him? I have always wished nobody waits endlessly for anything around, how much more the good and great God we serve!
Wait on God, He is too good to forget you.

Prayer/Action
* Ask the Lord to hear the petition of every waiter today, in Jesus' mighty name.
* Ask the Lord to give a new song to waiters today, in the mighty name of Jesus.
* Declare your faith in God to grant you all your heart desires, in Jesus’ name.

TODAY’S PROPHETIC PRAYER
Double jeopardy shall be the portion of anyone that works against God's counsel for my destiny beginning from today, in the mighty name of Jesus.

A Pillar to Lean on

Tuesday 18 July
READ: Judg. 16:25-30
MORE LESSON: Psa. 46:1-11

Nothing can be more devastating on the battle field than being disarmed by your enemy. Because the strength of a warrior is in his weapons, thus the seizure of one's weapons ordinarily signifies the end of the captive. This scenario is far more tragic when a child of God faces a situation of spiritual disarmament by the enemy. Before the birth of Samson, God set him aside for an assignment, …he shall begin to deliver Israel out of the hand of the Philistines: Judg. 13:5. He started well but because of his relationship with Delilah, he later fell into the hands of the Philistines. The dreaded Samson became a theatre piece brought out of prison to entertain his enemies.
May we never degenerate to this level. Thank God Samson realised what to do. He told the lad that held him, …Suffer me that I may feel the pillars whereupon the house standeth, that I may lean upon them: Judg. 16:26. What pillars do you lean on in your trying times? The pillars of encouragement that can lead you back to reconcile with God, where you ask for the renewal of your strength dictates how far you can go in your relationship with God. Leaning on the pillars for support, Samson cried unto the God of Israel, …remember me…: v.28. May God remember you when you call on Him in your days of trouble. He cried, …and strengthen me…. May the Lord strengthen you when you are weak. And he concluded, …I pray thee, only this once.... The God of compassion answered and Samson pulled down the building and killed more enemies that day than in the twenty years that he judged Israel.
Who are the philistines that plucked out your eyes of righteousness and commitment? Ask God for more than one more time to regain your strength. He will answer you. Even when all seems lost like Samson, find the pillar of prayer, fasting, service, faith, God's Word and the Holy Ghost to lean on. Have faith in God, He will answer yet.

Prayer/Action
* Destroy the forces that reduce a man, in the mighty name of Jesus.
* Pray that your enemy will not see your end, in the name of Jesus.
* Ask God to restore strength to every location of weakness in your life, in Jesus’ name.

TODAY’S PROPHETIC PRAYER
On the authority in the name of Jesus, I decree that my sun shall not go down, neither shall my moon withdraw itself, in the name of Jesus.

No longer a Gentile

Monday 17 July
READ: Eph. 2:11-13
MORE LESSON: Eph. 4:17-24

Before the Jews, Gentles are infidels. They are abominable, unclean people whose worth is not more than that of dogs and pigs. Whenever a Jew, for any unavoidable reason, interacts with a Gentile, upon return to Israel, the Jew must do purification in the Temple. This reflects the hopelessness of Christ-less people who have no portion in the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob, the God of the universe. Because they have no portion in the promises of God, they are hopeless and without God in this world. In the eternal spirit realm, anyone who does not have Jesus living in him is a Gentile. Ephesians 4:18-19 describes the life of Gentiles, Having the understanding darkened, being alienated from the life of God through the ignorance that is in them, because of the blindness of their heart: Who being past feeling have given themselves over unto lasciviousness, to work all uncleanness with greediness.
There is a satanic blindfold over the eyes of a Gentile so that he cannot see light nor walk in it. His understanding is darkened, and he is overtaken by wickedness, uncleanness and greed. But salvation through Christ Jesus changes your status. When you say “yes” to Jesus, and sincerely invite Him to take residence in your heart, you are translated from the kingdom of darkness into the kingdom of God's own Son (Col.1:13). Your citizenship changes from that of a Gentile (one without God) into full membership of the commonwealth of Israel (one whose God is Jehovah, the One and only true God). The blindfold of Satan is removed, the darkness is overtaken by the Light of life, the life of God is released into your being, the grip of uncleanness is removed and you receive a new lease of life. What a great privilege to be saved by Jesus, Now therefore ye are no more strangers and foreigners, but fellow citizens with the saints, and of the household of God: Eph. 2:19.
If you are sure of your salvation, celebrate it. You are no longer a Gentile; you are one of the saints of God. You don't have to die before you can become a saint because in Christ Jesus you are a saint. No more darkness but light, Then spake Jesus again unto them, saying, I am the light of the world: he that followeth me shall not walk in darkness, but shall have the light of life: John 8:12. Your status has changed by the power of salvation; you are not a dog or a swine. Do not go back to leak your vomit or return to the wallow. Keep your sainthood and progress to greatness in life, in Jesus’ name.

Prayer/Action
* Lord Jesus, thank You for my salvation, in the mighty name of Jesus.
* Jesus, purge me of the nature of the Gentile and help me to walk in the light of life each day, in Jesus’ mighty name.

TODAY’S PROPHETIC PRAYER
I shall be nourished and provided for this new week like never before, I shall lack nothing, in the name of Jesus.

Begotten into a Living Hope

Sunday 16 July
READ: 1 Pet.1:3-12
MORE LESSON: Eph.2:11-13

The scriptures you have just read explain the great mysteries of salvation and the privileges therein. When a man is not born again, although he lives and walks around, the heavens see him as one without God and a hopeless being, That at that time ye were without Christ, being aliens from the commonwealth of Israel, and strangers from the covenants of promise, having no hope, and without God in the world: Eph. 2:12. You may be a very intelligent, erudite scholar, successful in business or in your career or a music star, or a beauty queen; if you don't live your life believing and trusting Jesus, and walking in obedience to His commandments, you are a stranger to the covenant of promise. In other words, you don't have a part in the promises of God to His people, you have no God, therefore, no hope in this world. Though you live, you are as good as dead. You are susceptible to the vagaries of life, and whatever happens to you, God is not responsible. because God is limited in intervening in your matter since you don't belong to Him.
But the very day you say “Yes” to Jesus and invite Him into your life, that same hour, you are born into a living hope, into an inheritance incorruptible, and undefiled, and that does not fade, reserved in Heaven for you, ...ye who sometimes were far off are made nigh by the blood of Christ: Eph.2:13.The moment you embrace Jesus, your hopes and aspirations receive the life of God. Salvation changes you from the state of hopelessness to great hope. Moreover, your entire existence receives a surety for fulfilment. You become God's property, a possession that God cherishes, He keeps you as the apple of His eye, and hides you under the shadow of His wings (Psa. 17:8).
The implications are far reaching: your life cannot be cut short any how. The One who begot you has become the superintendent over your life and affairs. He watches over your life with passion and He will go to any length to deal with anything that threatens your life. What a great provision of God for all who come to Him through Jesus His Son. I counsel you today, if you have not truly surrendered your life to Jesus, do so right away so that you can partake of this gracious provision. If you are born again already, I encourage you to jealously guide your salvation so that you can enjoy the fullness of this living hope.

Prayer/Action
* Lord Jesus, I surrender my life to You today; be my Lord and Saviour, in Jesus’ name.
* Jesus, help me to preserve my salvation, in Jesus’ mighty name.

TODAY’S PROPHETIC PRAYER
I prophesy and decree that anyone that raises a hand against me shall lose it by fire, in Jesus' name.

God's Habitation

Saturday 15 July
READ: Psa. 22: 3
MORE LESSON: Psa. 149: 1 – 9

The Bible says that God inhabits the praise of His people. This means that when we praise God, He manifests Himself. If you have been wondering where God dwells, then be it known that He dwells in praises. Each time men build a tabernacle of praise, we see God manifest Himself in diverse ways and manners. There are degrees of manifestation of God; the degree to which you see God manifest in your life, home or assembly shows the degree to which your praise and worship has built Him a habitation.
If you want to see more practical manifestation of God in your life and ministry, then increase the measure of praise and worship in your life. You endear yourself to God's presence with a tabernacle of praise which you build either personally or in corporate gathering together with others in your home, office or church. 1 Tim. 2: 8 says that God desires that men lift up holy hands everywhere. Anywhere can become God's habitation, all it takes is that you fill the place with the praise and worship of God and He begins to live in that place.
You can bring God's presence to anywhere you are. You can be an envoy of the physical and tangible presence of God if you master the secret of being a carrier of God's presence and glory, which is a life of praise and worship. When God's glory resides upon your life, the difference is clear; when God is in a place, it is very evident. Signs, wonders, healings, prophecies and unusual blessings are indicators of God's presence. When God is somewhere, you don't need to be told before you know. Matt. 18: 20 says that wherever two or three are gathered in the name of Jesus, He will be there with them. Two or more people gathered extolling the name of Jesus invokes the power of His presence and miracles break out. If you want to see a greater manifestation of the glory and presence of God, then you need to engage more of the power of praise and worship.
The strength of the Church of God and the corporate gathering of believers on the face of the earth is in worship and praise. We must harness the power of gathering just to give heartfelt praise and worship to God and we will see the power of God break through the nations of the earth, Let the people praise thee, O God; let all the people praise thee. Then shall the earth yield her increase; and God, even our own God, shall bless us: Psa. 67:5-6.

Prayer/Action
* Give God thanks for all His goodness and mercies, in Jesus’ name.
* Praise God and thank Him for health, peace and provision, in Jesus’ name.
* Lift up both hands and bless the Lord unreservedly, in Jesus’ name.

TODAY’S PROPHETIC PRAYER
By the Spirit of the Lord and His power, I break every wall and ancient door hindering my progress in life, in the mighty name of Jesus.

Fear Not

Friday 14 July
READ: Joel 2: 21 - 27
MORE LESSON: Isa. 41: 14-20

If there is one thing that greatly limits people in actualising their destiny, it is fear. There are lots of opportunities awaiting people every day but fear prevents men from maximising opportunity. People are afraid of investing, doing business or starting a project. They wonder how they will cope and whether things will work out or not. These are the days of diverse kinds of fear and multiple anxiety. A person graduates from school and is afraid whether he will get a job or not. Another gets a job and he is afraid whether his appointment will be confirmed or he will be relieved of his job. Young people who have reached marriageable age are afraid of getting married because of the economic situation. In times like this only the Word of God can come through for you.
Fear not, O land; be glad and rejoice: for the LORD will do great things. Be not afraid, ye beasts of the field: for the pastures of the wilderness do spring, for the tree beareth her fruit, the fig tree and the vine do yield their strength: Joel 2:21-22. The Word of the Lord for you today is 'fear not, for the Lord will do great things.' Do not let fear cripple you, go ahead and do what you have to do, rest assured that the Lord will back you up. Do you not know that if the animals were afraid of stepping out in the morning to look for food because there are predators out there in the field, those animals would die of starvation in their holes. The beasts of the field conquer fear daily, that is why you see them roaming around looking for food to eat. If the beasts do not allow fear to prevent them from going about what they need to do daily, then you will overcome fear in the name of Jesus Christ.
When you conquer fear and you step out in faith, the wilderness will become a fruitful field for you and the fruitful field will become a mighty forest (Isa. 32: 15). It is time for you to bear fruit and the first thing to conquer is the fear of stepping out. Remember that He that is in you is greater than he that is in the world. So when the world cringes in fear, then it is time for you to leap in faith. The old song writer did a great work when he wrote: “Have faith in God when your pathway is lonely..., have faith in God in your pains and sorrows... have faith in God though all else fails about you, have faith in God, He provides for his own, He cannot fail though all kingdom shall perish, He rules and reigns upon His throne!”

Prayer/Action
* Break the hold of fear off your life, in Jesus’ name.
* Pray for grace to face each day with full courage to conquer, in Jesus’ name.
Recall the things that have made you afraid and loudly say NO to them.

TODAY’S PROPHETIC PRAYER
Father, You are my dwelling place from generation to generation, therefore safety, joy and happiness shall be my portion throughout my years, in the mighty name of Jesus.

Fulfilling your Purpose

Saturday 8 July
READ: II Tim. 4:5-8
MORE LESSON: Heb. 12:1-3

True success is the fulfilment of original purpose. Success is not measured by what you have done compared to others, but rather by what you have done compared to what you should have done. In the journey of destiny, this is Heaven’s chosen yardstick for all men. Discovering your personal purpose must be accompanied by the pursuit of that purpose. In our text, Apostle Paul fought the fight of destiny to finish his course, as he said, I have fought a good fight.
The following steps will help you fulfil your purpose in life
1. Discover who you are and what you are here for.
2. Ask God for grace and strength to pursue your purpose.
3. Ask God for divine direction on a daily basis.
4. Ask God for the helper of your destiny to come along your path.
5. Do something about your purpose; launch out.
6. Realise that enemies of destiny are out to frustrate you, so fight the good fight of faith.
7. Don't compare yourself with others; you are unique, but you can learn from the success stories of others.
8. Whatever your height of attainment,
you are only an instrument, so give God all the glory.
People that fulfil purpose die empty. May that be your portion as you daily live as a purpose-driven child of your purpose-driven Father. Don't end today's study by just saying Amen, do something about your purpose in life. For example:
1. Ask yourself what is my purpose in life?
2. What am I doing here, where I am?
3. What have I contributed to God's kingdom, my family, and community?
4. What is God's assessment of the number of years I have spent on earth?
5. What was my yesterday like, what about today and tomorrow?
6. When last did I examine myself?
7. When last did I hear God for myself and destiny?
At Gethsemane Jesus told God the truth about His assignment; He said, “Father, let this assignment pass over me” but He quickly added “…let your will be done…” Today, tell God in all sincerity the state of your life assignment and ask Him to help you.

Prayer/Action
* Pray that you will not die without fulfilling your purpose, in Jesus’ name.
* Pray for the discovery of your destiny, power to fulfil it and grace to pursue it with focus, in Jesus’ name.
* Ask God to deliver you from every distraction that can take you away from your purpose in destiny, in the mighty name of Jesus.

TODAY'S PROPHETIC PRAYER
The sun of righteousness shall rise today with strength and glory upon its wings for my destiny, in the mighty name of Jesus.

Knowing your Purpose

Friday 7 July
READ: Matt. 1:18-21
MORE LESSON: Jn. 18:1-13

One of the major lessons from the way Jesus lived on earth was the constant consciousness of His purpose. Everything He did showed that He knew what He was living for. The angel had announced to His mother at His conception that He shall save His people from their sins. That was the driving force for all that He did. Everything He did was to advance the purpose which He knew he came to achieve. In fact, this knowledge was the guiding light to the cross. Even before He gave up the ghost, He made sure that He cast His mind back to review all scriptures concerning Him and His purpose. He was satisfied that everything about His purpose was done before He yielded up the ghost (Jn. 19:28-30).
Obviously, this must have given Him joy and fulfilment despite the pain that He went through. Even the pain was a joy because He knew that it was part of His purpose for coming to the earth. When a man knows his purpose, he can enjoy whatever comes his way and handle his situations rightly. Seek to know your purpose that your life may be fulfilled and
ordered. Again the manner in which Jesus handled and went through His betrayal, denial, arrest, prosecution and death tells much about His pre-knowledge of His divine assignment on earth and the effect of that knowledge on His achievements. First, His prayer at the Garden of Gethsemane, which provided the strength to go through the rigours and the pain of His crucifixion, would be impossible if he was ignorant of His assignment. His knowledge of the roles of His close friends, like Judas and Peter, helped Him to absorb the disappointment that was generated by their acts. The cruel beatings that He received did not change Jesus' mind about going to the cross. He did not even complain except to seek for His Father's continual presence.
In the same way, if only you can get to know your purpose and the process to it, many things that weigh you down will change as you pray for grace to fulfil your purpose. You need to trust God for more understanding of your purpose so that you can draw power from the Giver of purpose in order to fulfil it.

Prayer/Action
* Rebuke every spirit of confusion and lack of direction in life, in Jesus’ name.
* Ask God for power to fulfil your destiny, in the name of Jesus.
* Pray that God will send helpers to help you fulfil your purpose, in Jesus’ name.

TODAY'S PROPHETIC PRAYER
Father, throughout today mercy will follow me and speak for me, therefore there shall be no failure in my destiny, in Jesus name.

Becoming like Christ

Sunday 2 July
READ: Phil. 3: 10 - 21
MORE LESSON: Acts 4: 9-13

As disciples, we must resemble our Master in every way. The most wonderful achievement for us is to be compared to Jesus in word, deed and attitude though Jesus is beyond compare. When Jesus was to be arrested by the Pharisees, they needed someone to point Him out among His disciples. This was because He and His disciples all lived, dressed and talked alike so that outsiders could not easily differentiate one from the other except someone very close identified Him.
This is a lesson for all leaders in the Body of Christ; we need leaders that will so much mix with the people in humility that we cannot easily see the demarcation between the leaders and the led by positional differentiation. God wants us as disciples of Jesus to be so much like Christ that people would have a hard time differentiating between us and Christ. From the Bible, we know that the disciples were first referred to as Christians in Antioch.
This was because they behaved so much like Christ in every way that they had to refer to them as 'People who are like Christ'. The moment people see us they should know we are followers of Christ. In fact, they should know we are from a living church of God. It is a great thing for us to do wonderful things and people ask, ‘Are you from so and so church? we have noticed that people from there have this unique attribute’. Our lives should be a testimony of the glory of God and not a reproach to the Lord. We must live for the Lord and be like Him. Becoming like Christ is the hallmark of the Christian experience.
Christianity is not about prosperity and success even though God blesses us with those as we serve Him. Christianity is not about marriage and having wonderful family though they are part of the blessings obtained in Christ, nor is it about greatness and becoming prominent though it is part of His blessings as we follow Him. If there is a summary of what genuine Christianity is, it is becoming like Christ in word, work, nature and lifestyle. When we become like Christ, the things that we struggle for will naturally come to us. We must make becoming like Him the highest pursuit of our lives.

Prayer/Action
* Ask God to make you more like Jesus, in Jesus’ mighty name.
* Pray that you will be a worthy epistle of Christ for the world to read, in Jesus’ name.
* Pray that the pursuit of the presence of Jesus become your burning ambition.

TODAY'S PROPHETIC PRAYER
My Father and my God, I declare that the second half of the year is for my advancement above every force of darkness, in the mighty name of Jesus.

The Path of the Just

Saturday 1 July, 2017
READ: Prov. 4:18
MORE LESSON: Psa. 1: 1 - 6

The Scriptures say, But the path of the just is as the shining light, that shineth more and more unto the perfect day. The first thing to notice from this verse is that the just has a path. Whenever you see a just man, there is a way he behaves and does things. Shining more and more denotes recording success upon success. Therefore, success has a path. Men do not succeed by chance; you don't sleep one night and wake up the next day to discover that you are now a success. There must be something you have been doing to become successful. Those who will be successful tomorrow are doing something today. Your success today is a product of your labour of yesterday and your success tomorrow will be a product of your labour of today.
The just man is an organised man. He knows that he will not succeed by mistake or by trial and error. The just is very deliberate in his pursuit of shining. He is a hardworking man; he knows he will not succeed by carelessness and laziness. A just son is not waiting for his father's certificate and laurels to be handed to him; he is making his success just as his parents' are making theirs. The just man has a path and way of life that is responsible for his shining.
Failing is the easiest thing to do in life. All it takes to fail is to do nothing. This is the reason a lot of people are failures; they don't do anything. Every time you ask them what they are doing, they say they are still praying. They do nothing and when nothing happens, they blame everyone, including God, for not doing things for them. The only one they don't blame is themselves. Prayer is essential to success; it is the condition for God to be involved in your matter. However, if God is to be involved in our matter, we too must be involved hands-on. Pray hard but you must also work hard at it. That is the path of the just.
Psalm 1 tells us more about the path of the just that leads to success. The just man practices righteousness. Righteousness is not something to confess only; it is something you do. You can't hang out all night with sinners and expect success the next morning. You don't cheat and expect genuine success to come. You can't spend all your day sleeping, and wake up successful. A just man has a path; it is his path that is responsible for his shining. The Bible doesn't say that the just man shines more and more; it says that his path shines more and more. No path, no shining. It is what you are doing and how you are doing it that determines your success.

Prayer/Action
* Ask God to teach your hand to profit and grant you wisdom to be successful in life.
* Pray that you will walk the path of success today.
* Pray that you will not be distracted from the path to your greatness.

TODAY'S PROPHETIC PRAYER
Father of life, You deserve the glory and honour for the gift of the seventh month, I give You all the praise, in the mighty name of Jesus.
