Access to God's Secrets

Thursday 30 June
READ: Psa. 25:12-14
MORE LESSON: Mal. 3:16

The secret of the Lord is with those that fear Him and He teaches them His ways. Knowing the ways of the Lord is the secret of a life of greatness and impact. It is a good thing to experience the acts of God and give testimonies of the things God has done for you. However, God doesn't just want you to know His acts, He wants you to understand His ways as God made known His ways to Moses, His acts to the children of Israel (Psa. 103:7). When God reveals His ways to you, you become the one that performs His acts for others to testify about. It is the fear of the Lord that gives a man access to knowing the ways of the Lord such that he becomes the agency of His acts, The secret of the Lord is with them that fear him; and he will shew them his covenant: Psa. 25:14.
The fear of God gives you a life of revelation and access to the secrets of the Lord. It is not only reading the Bible that gives spiritual understanding, it is living in the fear of the Lord. A man living in rebellion and sin can read the Bible and not get anything worthwhile unless he first changes his disposition to God. Another great advantage of the fear of the Lord is that it removes the fear of man from your life. It is not possible to fear God and fear men. Any one who has put his trust in God and honours Him does not need to fear men. When men threaten you, you should not be moved in as much as your confidence is not in man but in God. When a man kneels before God men must kneel for Him. When a man has seen the face of God, he cannot be afraid of the face of men. Remember the scripture, The fear of man bringeth a snare: but whoso putteth his trust in the Lord shall be safe: Prov 29:25.
A man whose confidence is in God need not run around, he has access to all he needs. He has access to God's secrets and mysteries which will give him everything he wants in life. When you revere and fear God, He gives you unrestricted access to Himself, He always hears you. He always remembers you and you become a priority to Him, as recorded in Mal 3:16, Then they that feared the LORD spake often one to another: and the LORD hearkened, and heard [it], and a book of remembrance was written before him for them that feared the LORD, and that thought upon his name.
The fear of the Lord is your access to Him and all the secrets of life and greatness that are stored in Him. From today go out and walk in continuous fear of the Lord and His presence will be with you always to enjoy.

Prayer/Action
* Father, help me to walk in Your fear from today and always.
* Father, I receive access into your secret place today, in Jesus’ name.

PROPHETIC PRAYER
Father, thank You for June, If You gave me this last six months, You will not deny me the rest six months of 2016, in the mighty name of Jesus.

Not done with Me

Wednesday 29 June
READ: Mk. 7:24-30
MORE LESSON: Phil. 3:10-14

As I write this moment, I hear Heaven declare loudly like with a thousand voices, God is not done with you yet! To the rich, the poor, the intelligent, the most influential, popular and great, I say, God is not yet done with you. There is room for more, Not as though I had already attained, either were already perfect…. Brethren, I count not myself to have apprehended: but this one thing I do, forgetting those things which are behind, and reaching forth unto those things which are before, I press toward the mark for the prize....: Phil. 3:12-14. God has more than He has given you and He wants to give you more; He wants to take you further, so press on towards more. Don't stop at the “little” because God has greater, better and higher plans for you.
To the poor, defeated, delayed and depressed, today I hear God saying, God is not done with you yet! He has a plan for your lifting, breakthrough, restoration and prosperity. God is still at work; He is still giving children, marriage partners, healing, wealth, jobs, career success and breakthroughs. God didn't stop the work of creation until He finished. He is still at work on your matter and will not stop until He finishes. He has not yet gone to rest, and He will not until He is through with your case.
So, like Paul, press on until you reach the prize mark. Don't give up on yourself; quitters don't win, winners don't quit. If you don't stop, God won't stop. Press on like the Syrophoenician woman in our text; be deaf to all negative comments about your situation. Just refuse to give up your faith, hope and confidence in God, even if it’s an angel that said what discouraged you. Stay glued to the God who says, Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you: For every one that asketh receiveth: Matt. 7:7-8.
Today, you may be down but tomorrow is still a credit! Just never say 'never', for God will never give up on him who refuses to give up on himself. Tell your enemies, For a just man falleth seven times, and riseth up again: but the wicked shall fall into mischief: Prov. 24:16. You will rise and your light will shine again. Glory days are here again! Friend, just stay righteous and hold on to God without despair, pressing on in prayer and faith and God will do it again.

Prayer/Action
* Lift up your hands and proclaim that this year will not pass without your answer.
* Ask that the Host of Heaven will take over your fight this year and give you victory.
Find any abandoned project/prayer requests in your life and prayerfully go back to them and shortly, success will come.
You can also tie a vow to the requests this time, just like Hannah did.

PROPHETIC PRAYER
In the name of Jesus, I starve the root of my afflictions to death and I end my struggles permanently.

''Well done, Good and Faithful Servant”

Tuesday 28 June
READ: Matt. 25: 19-23
MORE LESSON: Mk. 8: 36

I had a very brilliant colleague in primary school called Adams that I shared my lunch pack with so that he could teach me after class. He got admission into a federal school for his secondary education but I didn’t get. I eventually got admission to another secondary school, so I looked for him to appreciate him for his help when we were in primary school only for me to discover that he was dead. As a little unsaved primary school leaver, when I heard about the death of my friend, I felt God was not fair. I reasoned that the boy was too good and too brilliant to die. Adams got admission to one of the best schools ever but before he could complete form one, he was dead. And here was I for whom my father had to beg to find a place in a secondary school and struggled to pass the exam, still alive. I have grown up now to know that death is not a respecter of age, excellence, or wealth. Because I know it is a privilege to be alive, I must therefore give God my all. I must live a life that will earn me in Heaven: Welcome good and faithful servant from the Father. He deserves my all. All I am working for is that when I see Him, He will say, Well done, good and faithful servant.
Several great men walk this earth; national heroes, international award winners, rich men, powerful political and world renowned leaders who eventually die and everyone celebrate them. Thereafter, the world moves on. Very influential people die in plane crashes and one would have expected that their influence and positions would save them but no. Life is passing and eternity is real. Don't risk eternity for anything. The world and everything in it will pass away; the only thing that is worth working for is: Well done, good and faithful servant.
I decided long ago that I would not live for cars, popularity or success. My pursuit is that when I see God face to face, He will say, Well done, good and faithful servant. This should be your pursuit as well. What shall it profit a man if he gains the world and loses his soul? I heard of a man who had 50 children, and another who had over 50 wives, but it is amazing that no matter what you own in this life, without eternal life, it is all waste. I have seen a lot of great achievers die and their cases closed on this side of eternity.
Check your life; what is your pursuit? What are you living for? The end of all things is nearer than ever. It is high time you began to reconsider your priorities because time is running out. Friend, many things that you think are important now will soon prove to be unimportant and the only thing that will count will be whether or not when you meet God, He will say, Well done, good and faithful servant; thou hast been faithful over a few things, I will make thee ruler over many things: enter thou into the joy of thy Lord: Matt 25:23.

Prayer/Action
* Pray that after all is said and done on the earth, you will not be turned back at the gate of Heaven.
* Pray that when the roll is called up yonder, you will be there.
* Pray against a successful life time devoid of eternal success.

PROPHETIC PRAYER
In the name of Jesus, I decree over my life, the battle is won, the war is over, peace to my destiny!

Knowing the Mind of God

Monday 27 June
READ: Psa. 119: 161-168
MORE LESSONS: Psa. 119:7-16

One of the greatest assets of any child of God is knowing God's mind in anything. To know the mind of God is the first step to receiving anything from God, And this is the confidence that we have in Him, that, if we ask anything according to His will, He heareth us: 1Jn. 5:14. It is so important, therefore, to learn how to know the mind of God.
God's Word is the most revealed mind of God to man. Everything that a man needs to know about God is in the Bible. The more of God's Word that you have in you, the more of God you will know. There are several other ways of hearing God and knowing His will but the most authoritative is the Bible. This is why you must love the Scripture; it is the source of your much sought peace and victory, Great peace have they which love thy law and nothing shall offend them: Psa.119:165.
When you love God's Word, you will not have problem reading, meditating on and obeying it because what we love we adore, …but my heart standeth in awe of thy word: Psa. 119:161. Until the love of God's Word consumes you, it will be difficult to do quiet time, attend Bible study meeting or study the Bible on your own. Until you do these things, knowing God's mind to find God's answer to crucial matters of life will be near impossible. A man's love for God can be judged by his love for God's Word, which in turn can determine answer to prayer. Do you love God and His Word? How much of God's Word do you know? How much time do you devote to it? How many chapters of the Bible do you read daily? How obedient are you to the Word? God's mind is His Word; read it.

Prayer/Action
* Ask God to create in you a heart that loves His Word and obeys His will.
* Command the release of divine knowledge upon all your decisions and declare that you will not miss your way in destiny.
* Say, “Today, the Spirit of God shall lead my way and I shall laugh all day long”.
* Command today to release all its goodness to you now, in Jesus name.

PROPHETIC PRAYER
Thank You Jesus, I shall end 2016 in laughter, in the mighty name of Jesus.

Do Whatever He Tells You

Sunday 26 June
READ: John 2: 1-11
MORE LESSON: : John 9: 1-7

Every man that wants to contact God needs to trust Him and obey every instruction that God gives. Checking through the Scripture, you will notice there is hardly any miracle that Jesus did for any man without a particular instruction to be obeyed. Those who obeyed the instruction had a testimony and those who didn't obey lost the miracles. Sometimes the things He tells us to do are not things that we would consider enjoyable but obedience to prophetic instructions is what guarantees miraculous manifestations. Anybody who wants to enjoy the blessings of the Lord must be ready to obey His instructions.
Jesus attended a marriage in Cana of Galilee with His disciples, and His mother was also there. When the celebrants needed a miracle because their wine had finished, the mother of Jesus approached Him and Jesus told her to leave Him alone because His time had not yet come. But thank God for Mary; she didn't argue but was determined that it was not the end of the matter. Many people miss their miracles because they take the answer 'no' too soon. Mary knew Jesus very well; you will only be able to get a miracle from God to the extent to which you know Him. She knew Jesus would not refuse someone who comes to Him for help and she also knew that Jesus would give them the miracle by giving an instruction. Therefore, she said to the people, 'Don't worry about what He said; He will do something soon, and whatever He tells you, do it.’
The instruction Jesus gave them was not the type they would have expected; He told them to fill the pots with water. That would have been rejected as foolish instruction by some people, saying, ‘We need wine not water.' But by obedience to that simple instruction they were able to get what they needed. You might be in need today because what you have is insufficient and you refused to obey God when He told you to give the little you had. All I want to say to you today is that whatever He tells you to do, do it; and your miracle is sure.

Prayer/Action
* Ask God to speak His Word into your situation.
* Pray that you will always be sensitive to God’s instruction.
Take a promise of God to you and instruct your challenge with it.
Give God thanks over the instruction because it cannot fail.

PROPHETIC PRAYER
All you evil powers and covenants that have vowed to silence my testimony in 2016, break and perish, in the mighty name of Jesus.

What Kind of Fruit?

Saturday 25 June
READ: Matt. 7:15-20
MORE LESSONS: Luke 3:9

Jesus said, I am the vine, ye are the branches: He that abideth in me, and I in him, the same bringeth forth much fruit: for without me ye can do nothing: John 15:1. He clarified this statement by comparing people to trees, vines and plants. Fruits are products of life. Many people may not be able to identify an orange tree unless they see an orange fruit growing on it or an apple tree unless they see an apple growing on it. As trees are identified by their fruits, so do people identify Christians by the fruits they produce.
Literal fruit bearing depends on the type of soil, the amount of rainfall in the year, the season and cultivation. In the same way, bearing fruit spiritually depends upon some factors:

1. Death to self: a Christian remains unfruitful unless he/she dies to self and the world, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Except a corn of wheat fall into the ground and die, it abideth alone: but if it die, it bringeth forth much fruit: Jn. 12:24. When as Christians, we love what the people of the world love and do what they do, we become unfruitful. But when we become new creatures in Christ Jesus we can bear good fruits (Rom.7:4).

2. Abiding in Christ: living in Christ entails living a life that is pleasing to God by consistent obedience to the Word and the dictates of the Holy Spirit, Abide in me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself, except it abide in the vine; no more can ye, except ye abide in me: Jn. 15:4 Jesus is the vine while the believers are the branches; our faithfulness depends on our relationship with Jesus. It is as we yield to God on a daily basis and live a life of constantly abiding in Him that we can bear expected fruits (II Pet. 1:5-8).
The Bible makes us to understand that God wants us to produce the fruits of righteousness (Phil.1:11). God is honoured by fruitfulness. As true believers, you should see that your life, attitude, behaviour and influence are different because what people see in you is your fruit. What kind and how much fruit do others see in your life?

Prayer/Action
* Ask the Holy Spirit to destroy every seed, tree or fruit growing inside you that the Father has not planted.
* Declare that you receive grace today to bear fruits of righteousness every day of your life.
* Ask for the Spirit of obedience to flood your life.

PROPHETIC PRAYER
My destiny shall shine more and more, I shall not look back or go back, I shall reach my goal, in the name of Jesus.

Purity is Power

Friday 24 June
READ: Psa. 15:1-5
MORE LESSONS: II Tim. 2:19-21

Purity is the standard of God for everything we do because it is His nature. God wants us to live a life that is free of pollutants, Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who hath blessed us with all spiritual blessings in heavenly places in Christ: According as he hath chosen us in him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and without blame before him in love: Eph. 1:3-4. When we do, then we become His likeness and whenever He finds His likeness He bestows His all. An impure heart is a waste basket and the devil's workshop, Moab is my washpot; over Edom will I cast out my shoe: Philistia, triumph thou because of me: Psa. 60:8.
God detests impurity of heart and life. For humans to become pure, he needs to be grafted on Jesus the main branch. As it is recorded in II Pet.1:3-4, divine nature is through the Lord Jesus Christ. Human effort cannot do it. The Bible says all human efforts to be pure and truthful is like a filthy rag (Isa. 64:6). When we believe God's provision for our purity, we will be able to live a pure life. Whenever a branch is properly grafted on the main stem, it will begin to bear the fruit of the stem. At the beginning it may not be total but as long as the branch remains and abides, the nature of the stem is transferred into it.
Purity of life starts from the heart. When the heart is pure and aligned with God's Word and purpose through the Spirit, then purity of life is possible. Your experience, your relationship and the fruit you bear are indicators of the state of your heart. When you are defeated every single time you are confronted by satan and unable to live a consistent Christian life, then your life purity is low. Inability to live up to the standard of the Word of God is another indication that the heart is not in a good state. When your heart is pure, you become a hot coal and a no-parking-zone for the enemy. Understanding God and His Word becomes easy because the heart is clean and free of filth. Such a believer becomes demon-proof .
Purity brings boldness and courage. It makes one to be at peace with God and man. Unusual favour of God begins to manifest in such people. Such a one can easily become a tool in the hand of God to dislodge darkness (II Tim.2:20). A pure man will always have God's approval as it was with Jesus, this is my beloved son, in whom I am well pleased: Matt. 3:17. May this be God's testimony for you also, in Jesus' name.

Prayer/Action
* Ask God for children that Heaven and earth will be proud of.
* Pray against any child’s wrong doing that could wipe away God’s favour from the entire family.
* Ask God to send more godly children to the earth through all waiting mothers in the church.

PROPHETIC PRAYER
Satan, you are a liar, God’s promises over my life in 2016 will not fall to the ground, in the name of Jesus.

God's Hedge

Thursday 23 June
READ: Job 1:6-12.
MORE LESSON: Isa. 59:1-3

In the Word of God, there is provision for safety or defence. God is emphatic about this,
When thou passest through the waters, I will be with thee; and through the rivers, they shall not overflow thee: when thou walkest through the fire, thou shalt not be burned; neither shall the flame kindle upon thee Isa. 43:2.
It is of paramount importance for us to have the right attitude to the Word of God. Your level of trust in someone's word reflects your relationship with the person. What is your relationship with Jesus?
God built a hedge around Job, thus satan could not touch him initially. Similarly, God's hedge has been raised around your family, finance, business etc, that is why there is safety. May the Lord's hedge be strong around you. It is God's hedge that is constantly around you when you sleep and wake up. There are many that sleep and have bad dreams, unpleasant experiences, some even die in their sleep. But David says, I laid me down and slept; I awaked; for the LORD sustained me: Psa. 3:5. God's hedge around you is your security, strong and lasting since God is everlasting. Our non-consistency, disobedience, and broken relationship with God weaken the hedge, He that diggeth a pit shall fall into it; and whoso breaketh an hedge, a serpent shall bite him: Eccl. 10:8. You need to repent of your secret sin or else the serpent will strike you. A sinner can be attacked at anytime because he doesn't have God's defence/hedge. Ask the Lord for forgiveness and make your way straight with Him. Thereafter, God's love will be available for you all your lifetime, As the mountains are round about Jerusalem, so the LORD is round about his people from henceforth even for ever: Psa. 125:2.
I proclaim this shall be your portion. However, you must dwell in the secret place of the most High and abide under the shadow of the Almighty (Ps. 91:2). Henceforth, you will not be afraid of the terror by night; nor of the pestilence that walks in darkness. As David declares in Psa. 91:5-6,
Thou shalt not be afraid for the terror by night; nor for the arrow that flieth by day; Nor for the pestilence that walketh in darkness; nor for the destruction that wasteth at noonday.
So shall it be for you, in Jesus' name.

Prayer/Action
* Give thanks to God for His cover over you and your family.
* Declare that this cover shall never be removed.
* Pray that you will live up to God's expectation and that He will keep the hedge around you intact.

PROPHETIC PRAYER
In 2016, I shall not labour for another to harvest, I shall not be a slave of labour, I shall flow in harvest.

Believing is Seeing

Wednesday 22 June
READ: John 11: 30 - 40
MORE LESSON John 20: 24-29

Many people want to see God's glory made manifest in their lives but they want to see God do it first before they believe it. Are you trusting God for admission into school, marriage, employment, provision, healing, breakthrough, success or any other miracle? Do you insist on seeing it before you believe it? Then you have reversed the spiritual order and that is why the expectation is not forth coming. According to God’s standard, Jesus saith unto her, Said I not unto thee, that, if thou wouldest believe, thou shouldest see the glory of God? John 11:40.
However, men say, If I see then I will believe. They say 'seeing is believing' but the Scripture says 'believing is seeing'. You don't have to see what you are trusting God for before you believe God has met your need. You don't have to see the medical report before you believe you are healed and you don't have to see the evidence before you believe it is done. As a matter of fact, the scriptural procedure is that you believe first and see the evidence later because it is your faith that God sees and commands the result. Only believe it and you will certainly see it, But as many as received him, to them gave He power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name: John 1:12. It is when you believe and receive Him that Jesus gives you power to become what He wants you to be but some want Him to first give them power and then they will believe Him.
When Jesus resurrected and showed Himself to the disciples they all believed because they saw Him. Thomas had gone out when Jesus came; he missed one church service and that was costly for him because everybody at that service had a visitation from the Lord. So please don't miss church service. When Thomas came back to church, he insisted that he would not believe Jesus had resurrected except he saw Him. In other words, seeing is believing. Jesus kindly reappeared when Thomas was around and said to him, Reach hither thy finger, and behold my hands; and reach hither thy hand, and thrust it into my side: and be not faithless, but believing: John 20:27. He immediately believed but he was reprimanded, Thomas, because thou hast seen me, thou hast believed: blessed are they that have not seen, and yet have believed: John 20:29.
Today, many condemn Thomas' doubt but each time they want to see the miracle before they believe God they are doing the same thing that Thomas did. Step up today; believe, declare and thank God for a miracle even when you have not seen it and you will see the glory of God.

Prayer/Action
* Ask God to help and increase your faith today.
* Give thanks to God for every pending request you have before Him.
* Rebuke the spirit of fear and doubt around you.

PROPHETIC PRAYER
I pull down every plan to surchange my destiny and God’s programme for my life, in the name of Jesus.

Peace for the Nations

Tuesday 21 June
READ: Prov. 14: 34
MORE LESSON: Isa 57: 21

One of the greatest quests of the nations of the world is peace. There are peace keeping forces, peace movements and peace slogans like, 'Peace for Development', 'Say No to Violence' etc. The United Nations was created for the major purpose of maintaining peace in the world but there have been more wars since its creation than can be imagined. This shows that the strategy for peace in our nations must go beyond peace movements and the bilateral negotiations that political leaders engage in.
In Isa. 57:21, the Bible says, There is no peace, saith my God, to the wicked. This statement was made by God Himself; not a prophet, an apostle, a king or even an angel. When God says there is no peace for a particular set of people, there is no appeal, the only way to find peace is to exclude yourself from that category of people. No peace for the wicked; wicked man or wicked nation – as long as there is wickedness in the heart, there will be unrest in the environment. How can we find peace through round table discussions and peace treaty when the hearts of the people doing the discussion are wicked? The only way that there can be peace in the nations is when the heart is changed.
Hearts changed one at a time leads to global peace. It is individuals that make up families, families make societies and communities. When we have peaceful individuals we will have peaceful fathers and mothers at home, peaceful children in the schools and on the streets, peaceful workers in our sectors, peaceful leaders in the society, peaceful nations and a peaceful world. When individuals are not peaceful and the leaders are filled with wickedness in the heart and blood in their hands, there can't be peace in the nation. Remember, Righteousness exalts a nation, But sin is a reproach to any people: Prov 14:34 (NKJV). If wickedness covers a nation there cannot be peace in that nation.
If men will come to the Lord Jesus Christ, then as the Scriptures says, A new heart also will I give you, and a new spirit will I put within you: and I will take away the stony heart out of your flesh, and I will give you an heart of flesh: Ezek 36:26. When the hearts of men are changed through accepting Jesus – the Prince of Peace-then the peace in the hearts of men will flow into the nations. It is by finding peace with God that we can find peace with fellow men. The secret of peace is righteousness and the strength of righteousness is faith in the blood of Jesus. If individuals will make peace with God through the Lord Jesus Christ, then the nation will have peaceful men and the world will have peaceful nations. Without Him there is no peace.

Prayer/Action
* Pray for peace today beginning from your home, church, community and the nation, in Jesus’ name.
* Speak prophetically to the four corners of the nation, let peace reign, in Jesus’ name.

PROPHETIC PRAYER
Every evil ceiling of limitation placed over my life and destiny, in the name of Jesus, scatter by fire now.

The Beginning of Foolishness

Monday 20 June
READ: Luke 12: 16 – 21
MORE LESSON: Psa. 53: 1

The Bible tells the story of a rich man who worked hard and prospered. Then he decided that it was time for him to enjoy life all by himself. He said to himself that he had all he needed to live his own life but he forgot to consider the most important factor: he forgot God. He didn't consider that it is God who had his life in His hands and could determine his future, so he started planning the future without God. When he felt that he had arrived and he could live his life big and enjoy all the wealth he had gathered, God looked at him and said, You fool, no problem you can enjoy your wealth as long as you believe it is your own but give me the one that is my own; which is your life. Even God called him a fool. Why was he addressed a fool? It is not the fact that he was rich that made him a fool. His foolishness is in the fact that he accumulated everything but forgot God. He calculated all he had and wanted to do but he had no thought for God. It is foolishness for a man to try to do without God, as the Scripture says, The fool hath in his heart, there is no God . . .: Psa 53: 1. Each time a man or a people want to do anything without God, they walk in foolishness. Any nation that is trying to remove God from its system is walking the path of foolishness.
Let's see where the rich man's foolishness led him into. God said, Okay, since you have everything now and you feel you do not need me. Then you can keep all that is yours. However, give me that which is mine; which is, your life. He had his life taken away and he perished. It was after God took his life from him that he realised that everything without life is a waste. Since God is the giver of life; everything without God is a waste.
Prov. 1: 7 says, the fear of the Lord is the beginning of knowledge but fools despise wisdom and instruction. If the fear of God is the beginning of wisdom, then living without God is the beginning of foolishness. I want to tell you that it is expedient for a man to live his life for God. It is the best thing to do, whether you are rich or poor. Live your life for God and please Him. Do not live for material things but live with eternity in view because one day you will leave everything behind.

Prayer/Action
* Pray and commit your day, way and all you have to God for direction.
* Ask God not to give you what you cannot give back to Him in thanksgiving.

PROPHETIC PRAYER
I command every satanic decree of Haman to be turned to good news this month, in the name of Jesus.

Be a Carrier of Good News

Sunday 19 June
READ: Isa 52:7
MORE LESSON: 2 Sam 1: 1-16

There was a newspaper that was always full of obituaries; the other news in it was scanty as the paper read more like a collection of who and who died in the country. The media is replete with news of hunger, wars, earthquakes and recession. So we have companies and organisations built on and profiting from selling and dispensing bad news. But as believers in the Lord Jesus and citizens of the Kingdom, our task is to publish good news, How beautiful upon the mountains are the feet of him that bringeth good tidings, that publisheth peace; that bringeth good tidings of good, that publisheth salvation; that saith unto Zion, Thy God reigneth! Isa. 52:7. There are different dimensions to publishing good tidings. The first is to publish the good news of redemption and salvation that Jesus has purchased for the world. Preach the Word and let ...your feet be shod with the preparation of the gospel of peace; Eph 6: 15. The word 'evangelism' is a derivative of the Greek word which means 'good news' and has the same root as the word 'gospel'. So the message we bear as believers is naturally of good tidings.
This also extends to your relationship with people. Don't be the mouth piece for propagation of unfortunate happenings. When evil happens, it is not your duty to broadcast it, Out of the same mouth proceedeth blessing and cursing. My brethren, these things ought not so to be. Doth a fountain send forth at the same place sweet water and bitter? James 3:10-11. Slander, backbiting and gossip should never be heard from your mouth. When people make negative remarks about others, churches, or the government and they ask for your opinion, just find at least one thing to praise God for in that person or situation.
Finally, be a giver of hope by the kind of news you carry. Some people are so good at giving current statistics of death, accident, poverty, layoff and unemployment. They know all the number of people that attempted something and failed and they won't hesitate to dish out their statistics to anybody they see that wants to try to succeed in that same thing. That is not befitting for a believer, But speaking the truth in love, you may grow up into him in all things, which is the head, even Christ: Eph 4: 15. You should speak with all honesty and frankness, but they must be words that encourage and impart grace to the hearer, Let no corrupt communication proceed out of your mouth, but that which is good to the use of edifying, that it may minister grace unto the hearers: Eph 4:29.
I pray as you make the commitment to be a carrier of good news, glad tidings will not cease from your life, in Jesus’ name.

Prayer/Action
* Prophetically shut the door on negative news coming to you for the rest of this year.
* Pray that you will be good news where you enter and you will be a giver of same for life.
* Pray that you will not fail God in the compulsory assignment of spreading the goodnews about Jesus.

PROPHETIC PRAYER
My Father and my God, turn the good, the bad and the ugly events in my life in 2016 to my decoration tools, in the mighty name of Jesus.

The Prodigal Son

Saturday 18 June
READ: Luke 15:11 - 23
MORE LESSON: Hos. 6: 1 - 3

In the text of today, we have the popular Bible story of a certain man who had two sons. The younger one asked the father to give him his own portion of inheritance, that he wanted to start spending it. Normally children share the inheritance of their father after they die but it seemed to me that this younger son had been waiting for his father to die and when the man refused to die, he walked up to him, and demanded that the man give him whatever he was planning to will to him at death. Surprisingly the father didn't argue with him as he gave the boy what he was asking for.
Then the boy took his portion and went to a faraway country, where nobody would control him or ask him how he was living. This boy is not alone in this, many believers feel that it is a burden to have someone guiding their lives. They feel they want to be free to live their life. When a man chooses to live a life outside of godly control and correction, he lands in problems. So this boy went far away to where no one could caution him, and he began to live what the Bible calls a 'riotous life'. He squandered all he had in wasteful living, then a famine came and he had to take up a job to work in a piggery and he had no food to eat. The son of a wealthy man began to desire to eat with pigs.
God is such a wonderful Father that even when you demand your own way, He will not force you to do His will. Nevertheless, anyone who chooses to live outside of God's control and lordship will one day pay dearly for it. The prodigal son paid dearly for his reckless living. If you live a reckless life, you will pay dearly for it. This is a call back home for all that have wandered away. Check yourself, are you still at home with God or have you gone to a faraway land? Are you under the control of God or have you sought freedom from godly control? Can your spiritual leaders still correct you? As a child, can parents correct you? Is it the Word of God that controls you now or you have gone to where you can control yourself. You need to return before the day of reckoning comes. The prodigal son returned and the father had mercy on him. Today is your day of mercy, come back home to the Father. He will assuredly forgive you and celebrate your home coming.

Prayer/Action
* Give God thanks for not giving up on you.
* Ask God to forgive and restore you to Himself in anyway you have wondered away.

PROPHETIC PRAYER
Lay your hands on your head and declare, my head, my life, family and destiny, I command you, reject evil labels from today on, in the name of Jesus.

Covenanted for Peace

Friday 17 June
READ: Num 25: 1- 13
MORE LESSON: Psa 69: 9

God can take you to a place where He will swear on oath to ensure that you live in peace. It is a place where God decides that no crisis will ever prevail over you. You can move the heart of God to the point that He is determined that whatever comes your way, you will prevail. Crises and plagues may reign in the land where you dwell and people run helter-skelter but God will give you peace, ease, and comfort. God can make a covenant for enduring peace with you.
This happened to Phinehas in the Bible during the journey of the children of Israel from Egypt to Canaan. God vowed to give him a covenant of peace (Num 25: 12). The Israelites had got to a place called Moab and the men of Israel began to commit whoredom with the women of Moab, they were engaged in sexual immorality and God was angry with them. God vented His anger at the immorality of the Israelites and the elders of the land were mourning. Then in the midst of that situation, an Israelite took a Midianite woman into his tent to commit fornication with her. It was at this point that Phinehas got touched by that which touched God and took action. He took a javelin and pursued the two culprits-the Israelite man and the Midianite woman-and pierced them through.
One would wonder what the justification was for what Phinehas did, but it was obvious that he did the right thing as God commended him. This shows that it is scriptural to be touched by what touches God. Even though in the New Testament, no man is permitted to kill another because of his passion to avenge God, it was allowed in the Old Testament. That is why Phinehas was commended by God for what he did. Just as the Scripture says, the zeal of thine house hath eaten me up; and the reproaches of them that reproached thee are fallen upon me. Psa. 69:9.
The bottom line was that God entered a covenant of peace with Phinehas because he was moved by what moved God. When God’s wishes become your command, His business your passion, His kingdom your priority and His burden yours, He will covenant Himself to your well-being. God will covenant that no crisis will prevail over you and even if a whole nation of people is being destroyed, H e will see to your safety. This is what He did for Phinehas and He is willing to do the same and even more for you. However, you must also be passionate and zealous for God's business and be willing to stand for God in the midst of this wayward generation. You are covenanted for peace as you stand for God from today.

Prayer/Action
* Receive grace and passion to be touched and concerned for whatever touches and concerns God.
* Ask that the zeal of God’s house will consume you.
* Ask God to grant you and your lineage an eternal covenant of peace.

PROPHETIC PRAYER
Father, thank You for adding another year to Bishop David Bakare today, grant that he, his family and ministry will continue to live in Your mercy, favour and grace until he sees You face to face, in the name of Jesus.

Redeemed from the Power of the Grave

Thursday 16 June
READ: Psa 49: 15
MORE LESSON: 1 Cor 15: 55 – 57

As long as you are in Christ, the power that kills men has no power over you. The redemption from sin that Jesus purchased for you also includes redemption from the power of the grave. I want you to live life with the consciousness that you cannot be a victim of untimely death because there is a power that watches over you which is greater than the power that cuts men off in the prime of their life. If the enemy had power to kill you, he would have done it long ago. Each time you sleep, the powers of darkness don't want you to wake up. If you woke up this morning, it was because the greater power intervened. That same power that wakes you up despite the activity of the enemy for all the many years you have lived, will not fail now. Death has no power over you.
Psa. 49:15 says, But God will redeem my soul from the power of the grave: for he shall receive me. Selah. Grave has power but redemption through Jesus Christ has placed you above the power of the grave. This is why you shall not die, but live, and declare the works of the Lord (Psa 118:17). A man noticed that he was deteriorating physically and he couldn't understand why. He met me and asked for prayers, I prayed over a bottle of oil and told him to go use the oil. He asked me how he was to use the oil. I said he should use it anyhow. He was later informed by his wife that she had put poison in his food but that the power in his anointing oil saved him, else he would have been dead. If a man's wife wants him dead, I submit to you that nothing but the power of God can save him. There is a power that is greater than the power of the grave and that power is working for you and in you.
Many people would come to me that they had a dream where I died, so I should not travel, should not do this or that. I delightfully continue serving my God because no death can touch me till I fulfil my assignment of destiny. There was even a time I went for a burial and afterwards I started seeing myself in the grave. When such happens, that is not the time to panic. I took a fast and used my mouth to shut up the power of the grave over my destiny. Learn to use your mouth to declare that you shall not die. You have no business with death until you have finished all your assignment in ripe old age and the Lord takes you home to be with Him. You have been redeemed from the power of the grave.

Prayer/Action
* Declare to yourself: I shall live and not die anyhow, in Jesus’ name.
* Command every grave to vomit your destiny that has been swallowed, in Jesus’ name.

PROPHETIC PRAYER
Father, let Your name and blood answer for me now, everywhere the enemies are gathered about my destiny, Answer Lord, in the name of Jesus.

Honouring God's Prophets

Wednesday 15 June
READ: 2Chron. 20: 20
MORE LESSON: Gal 4: 13 - 15

when Jehoshaphat, the king of Judah, was to fight the battle against many nations that joined forces against him, the word of the Lord came to him, ...believe in the Lord your God, so shall ye be established: believe his prophets, so shall ye prosper: 2 Chron. 20:20. In order to see what the Lord has promised concerning your life come to pass, it is important for you to believe in God, His Word and the vessel that He used to give you the Word. Some people have no problem when you tell them to believe the Lord; it is when you tell them that they have to believe and receive the prophet that God has set over them that they start giving excuses. So many Christians do not want to honour the prophets that God has placed over them; they claim that they honour God only and not men. There is no way you can honour God without giving adequate honour to the vessels He uses. You must not worship any man, and you must not give God’s glory to any man. But the Bible also makes it clear that your prosperity is linked to how much you believe and honour the servant of God over your life.
The Bible says to believe God’s prophet; that means to accept what he has said as the word of God and not the word of man. When you esteem the word of God’s servant lightly as mere opinion of man, you will never be blessed of God through him. The problem with many is that they are too familiar with the pastor; they knew him from home; they were even his senior in secondary school. So they don't want to kneel down for prayers or pay tithes to him. This is the reason their sickness, affliction and problems have persisted. If you want a change in your life, you have to believe in the Lord so that you will be established, but in addition to that you need to believe His prophet, so that you can prosper.
You can only be blessed by the grace that you honour. I have seen people enter into the miraculous cheaply by just believing and honouring the words of the pastor, such that the pastor who declared the word himself was surprised at the degree of manifestation that came out of what he said. They believed the pastor more than the pastor believed in himself and the God of the pastor did wonders in their lives, Anyone who receives you receives me, and anyone who receives me receives the Father who sent me. If you receive a prophet as one who speaks for God, you will be given the same reward as a prophet. And if you receive righteous people because of their righteousness, you will be given a reward like theirs. And if you give even a cup of cold water to one of the least of my followers, you will surely be rewarded: Matt. 10:40-42 (NLT).
Prayer/Action
* Lord, I believe You, establish me, I believe your prophet, so prosper me.
* Ask the Lord to confirm the words of His servant over your life.

PROPHETIC PRAYER
Oh Lord arise in Your mercy and remove every embargo placed on my destiny by the Goliath of my father’s house, in the name of Jesus.

Rest

Tuesday 14 June
READ: Heb. 4:1-11
MORE LESSON: Heb. 3:15-19

The children of Israel had been wondering around battered and beaten in the wilderness for years. They left Egypt and were headed to the promised land of Canaan. Many died on the way because they disbelieved, complained and refused to walk by God's principles. Eventually, the little children grew up and were led into the place of rest by Joshua. Our text today shows that beyond the rest that Joshua led the children of Israel into, there is an additional rest that God has prepared for His children.
There is a rest from struggles, labour, troubles, financial crisis, family problems and matrimonial troubles. However, for you to enter into this rest, you must believe in the ability of God. Faith is the key that opens the door to your place of rest, the problem is that many 'believers' don't believe, they are doubters and rationalisers. For example, God says that there is a place of financial rest but He wants you to be a giver to enter in; He wants you to give your tithe, offering and other kingdom seeds.
One person believes and gives till he enters financial rest while another starts asking questions how he will fare if he removes from his salary that is not even enough; he also wants to know what the church does with all the tithes that people have been giving. So he continues in financial toil. There is a rest ordained for you in every area of your life, you need to search the Word, discover God's prescription for rest in that area of life, believe it and obey it.
The Bible says that for you to have matrimonial rest as a husband, you have to love your wife unconditionally. It says that the key that opens the door of rest for the wife in her home is submission. But if you continue to run your home based on what your committee of friends, village/clan meeting or women rights organisations tell you; you will realise that your home will continue to be a boiling pot.The key to rest is the Word of God. Abandon your head knowledge, mathematical calculations and logical reasoning when you realise they contradict scriptures. God's Word doesn't have to be rational, it just has to come to pass. Believe God and enter into rest.
The ultimate rest is in making it to Heaven; this rest also as every other form of rest is through faith. When you believe in Jesus as your Lord and Saviour and you accept Him into your life and dedicate your life to living by His Word; you are assured of entering into His eternal rest. Do not harden your heart as some did in the wilderness and could not enter into rest, even though it had been prepared for them, Speak tenderly to Jerusalem. Tell her that her sad days are gone and her sins are pardoned: Isa. 40:2(NLT).

Prayer/Action
* Father, let me enter into the rest prepared for me in every area of life.
* I receive grace to follow God’s prescription for my rest.
* Lord, I receive a season without war, in Jesus’ name.

PROPHETIC PRAYER
Father, as king David enjoyed uncommon mercy with You, let it be so with me and my family this year, in the name of Jesus.

The God of all Doing

Monday 13 June
READ: 1 Sam 2: 6 – 8
MORE LESSON: Luke 1: 37

God is the only One who can do all things. He can do whatsoever can be done and even those that cannot be done by any mortal . God can do the easy, the difficult and the impossible. Only He can bring the dead back to life – something which is impossible to any other. But God does not only have the power to make alive, He also has the power to kill, The Lord killeth, and maketh alive: he bringeth down to the grave, and bringeth up. 1 Sam 2:6.
Some people theologise that God doesn't kill, that He only gives life. They should read the Bible complete and balanced; we have seen several cases in the Scripture where God struck people dead, especially people who stood `against His purpose and His children. God will strike those who have purposed relentlessly to frustrate your life and destiny, in Jesus name. The Bible declares concerning Abraham, before Him whom he believed, even God, who quickeneth the dead, and calleth those things which be not as though they were: Rom. 4:17. We understand from scriptures that one of the reasons Abraham was willing to offer Isaac to God was because he believed that if he killed Isaac, God was able to bring him back to life (Heb 11: 17 – 19). God can kill everything; sickness, evil, curses and agents of wickedness that have risen against you. He also can give life to every good thing that has died in your life.
Is it your health, womb, career or ministry that seems dead? The God of all doing can raise it back to life.
Another doing of the Lord revealed in our text is that He raiseth up the poor out of the dust, and lifteth up the beggar from the dunghill, to set them among princes, and to make them inherit the throne of glory....: 1 Sam 2:8. He makes a nobody to become somebody. Joseph was a slave but God made him a prime minister. Esther was a maid-servant but God took her to the throne. I don't know what you are today but the God of all doing can take you to the highest place. If there is also any highly placed person that is using his position to intimidate you and work against your God-ordained destiny, it doesn't cost God anythingto remove him.
When Nebuchadnezzar, king of Babylon, felt that he was so high that he lost respect for God; the God of all doing sent him from the throne to the bush. He became an animal and all his guards could not prevent him from entering into the forest. However, when he repented before God after seven years, God restored him back to the throne. God truly can do anything whatsoever. I pray that you will pertake of this power on the positive, you shall pertake of His glorious doing and it shall be marvellous for you.

Prayer/Action
* Father, let me witness Your wonderful doing today, in Jesus’ name.
* Father, strike down those who have purposed relentlessly to frustrate my life and destiny, in Jesus’ name.

PROPHETIC PRAYER
Father, by your mercy, don’t leave me in the hands of my enemies, lift me up for my triumph and advancement, in the mighty name of Jesus.

The Name of Help

Sunday 12 June
READ: Psa. 124: 1-8
MORE LESSON: Psa. 20: 1 -2

Everyone in life seeks for help. Even great men still need help; as long as you are breathing and have something you still want to achieve in life, you will need help. The key to get anything you seek in life is to know where it is located. This is why I want to divulge to you where help is hidden so that you can access it. Psa. 124: 8 says, Our help is in the name of the Lord, who made heaven and earth. The help you seek is inside the name of the Lord. As long as you have the name, you have help. This is the reason you can never be helpless in destiny as a child of God. Help is just the shout of the name of Jesus. When you shout that name, help is guaranteed; it doesn't matter what the problem is. The Scripture says, For whosever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved: Rom. 10: 13. The name of the Lord Jesus Christ is the name of help; when you shout 'Jesus', you have shouted 'help', and help will surely come to you.
The secret of accessing the help that is in the name is to do everything you do in the name of Jesus. According to the Word of God, ...whatsoever you do in word or deed, do all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God and the Father by him: Col 3:17. So when you want to sleep, sleep in the name of Jesus and there is no devil in the universe that can stop you from waking up. When you want to travel, say 'I travel to . . . in the name of Jesus.' No power on earth or hell can stop you from arriving safely at your destination. An enemy might have told you that you cannot pass your exams but when you say, 'I write this paper and pass it in the name of Jesus', failure bows to the name.
When you proceed in the name of Jesus, it will take a name higher than the name of Jesus to stop you, Wherefore, God also hath highly exalted him, and given him a name which is above every name: Phil 2:9. There is no name higher than the name of Jesus, this is the reason your help cannot fail. Your help is limited only by the extent to which the name of Jesus can perform. But since the name of Jesus is limitless in its possibility and infinite in its power, so your help is limitless and infinite.
Today, you are blessed in the name of the Lord; your destiny receives help in the name of the Lord and may the name of the God of Jacob defend you (Psa. 20:1).

Prayer/Action
* I receive all that it takes to pass the tests of life.
* Father, grant me grace to handle all my life situations well, in Jesus' name.
* In the name of Jesus, whatever happens I will keep the faith.

PROPHETIC PRAYER
Father, today, take me above my weakness and lift me to leap over every wall of blockage, move me forward, in the name of Jesus.

Have a Great Day

Saturday 11 June
READ: Psa 90: 12
MORE LESSON: Mark 1: 35

Men commonly greet one another saying, “Have a great day”. It is therefore expedient to know what a great day is and how to have it so that you will be able to know at the end of the day if it was a great day. Psa. 90:12 says So teach us to number our days, That we may gain a heart of wisdom. The following points should be noted in evaluating your day so that you know whether you are making maximum use of it or not.
1. A great day begins with God: In order to have a good and resourceful day, you have to start your day with God. No man should leave his house without praying and committing the day to God. Do not go out into the day without hearing a word from God that you are holding onto for the day. This is where reading the Word of God comes in. You have to cultivate the habit of waking up early to have time to pray, pray with your family and invite God into the day.
2. A great day answers to planning and purpose: You should never leave your house to start the day without a purpose defined for the day. What are the things you want to achieve in the day? Which places do you intend to go? Giving attention to all these is very important because that determines whether the day will be great or not. Time is the only commodity that is equal in everybody's possession. It is the same number of hours that is in every man's day. It is how it is organised, managed and deployed that differentiates the wise from the foolish, the rich from the poor and the successful from the unsuccessful. You must set out with a plan and purpose for the day and then pursue such.
3. Avoid distractions: It is easy to get distracted in your day and decide to just spend a few seconds on something that doesn't contribute to the plan and purpose you drew up for the day. However, you have to remember that it is the seconds that make up minutes which turn into hours, days, weeks, months, and then years. It is the accumulation of the years that is called a lifetime. When you allow seconds to be messed up in irrelevancies, you are messing up your life.
4. Appraise and evaluate the day: When you return at night, take a record and judge how you spent the day so that you will know where to do better the next day. Know that if you refuse to take records and evaluate how you spend the day, Heaven is taking records. One day you will explain all you did with the days.
Have a great day and from today start having great days.

Prayer/Action
* Pray against the forces of distraction today, in Jesus’ name.
* Declare for yourself; I begin today in the name of the Lord, I shall end in the name of the Lord, in Jesus’ name.

PROPHETIC PRAYER
God of my fathers, send your rain to every dry season of my destiny this month, in the name of Jesus.

Ashamed in Death

Friday 10 June
READ: Phil 1: 20 - 21
MORE LESSON: 2 Pet. 3:10-14

The way you see some people invest all their resources on this mortal body, you would think that it is all there is to life. There are people who spend so much on beautification, and wear expensive ornaments and extravagant clothes just for their bodies to look good but count it a burden to give a little to God or spend to buy for their personal spiritual growth. Let me remind you today that this mortal body is not designed to live forever. It will be given to dust and rot; it is your spirit that will remain to reap the consequence or benefit of whatever you do in this body. In the Old Testament, people lived for hundreds of years but today life expectancy is reducing more and more. If there is a time that men should be conscious of eternity and giving priority to their spirit, it is now.
Apostle Paul prayed a prayer in Phil 1:20 that all men should pray, According to my earnest expectation and my hope, that in nothing I shall be ashamed, but that with all boldness, as always, so now also Christ shall be magnified in my body, whether it be by life, or by death. He prayed that he will never be ashamed whether in life or in death and that Christ will be glorified in him whether in life or in death. This implies that some people will be ashamed in death. It cannot be over-emphasised that death is not the end, it is only the door that opens a man into eternity. A man thinks that death is the end and he commits suicide because he feels that life is unbearable but then he opens his eyes on the other side and he realises that he is not ready for eternity, that is being ashamed in death. Another man says there is no Heaven and no hell, in fact he concocts so many scriptures to support his claims, but then in death he opens his eyes on the other side and finds himself in hell, realising that all he spent his life believing were lies. What a shame! A man says Jesus is not the Son of God and He is not the only way but then he dies and realises that the same Jesus He refused is the Judge he will face. He will be so ashamed that he cannot look at the light of His countenance but will have to abide in outer darkness. I pray you will not be ashamed in death.
This is why preaching the gospel to all men is a crucial mandate on all of God's children. You have to warn people so that they will not face eternal disgrace when they die. God has created a way of escape, Jesus said, ...I am the way the truth and the life no man cometh to the Father except through me: Jn.14:6. It is only through Him that a man will not be ashamed in death.
Everyone who has this understanding will escape from the impending danger by inviting Jesus into his life now! All who have already done this owe God the debt of spreading the news! Advertise Jesus.

Prayer/Action
* Ask God to help you to be conscious of eternity.
* Ask God to renew your love and commitment to Him.
* Promise God that you will never turn your love away from Him but help to tell someone else about Jesus from today.

PROPHETIC PRAYER
Father, wherever my goodness is hiding, I command it to locate me today, in the mighty name of Jesus.

Anointed with Power

Thursday 9 June
READ: Acts 10:34- 40
MORE LESSON: Psa. 45:6 - 7

The secret of the great works in the life and ministry of Jesus Christ is the power of God that was operating through Him. Everything in life responds to the higher power. When you see a man trying to do something and it seems impossible, it is the power to do that thing that is lacking. When you are anointed with power, all that has been resisting you begins to respond to you. Rom 13:2 says, Whosoever therefore resisteth the power, resisteth the ordinance of God: and they that resist shall receive to themselves damnation. Power is irresistible, when you are anointed with power, things respond and nothing resists.
Power is not limited to physical force but includes the influence upon your life that gives you the ability to do what others cannot do. In Luke 5:17, we see how Jesus was in the temple preaching and teaching, and the power of God was present to heal. Another person could have preached and nothing happened but Jesus preached and healings were happening. This was as a result of the power of God upon Him in accordance with Acts 10:38, How God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Ghost and with power: who went about doing good, and healing all that were oppressed of the devil; for God was with him.
God actually anointed Jesus with the power He needed to do all that He did and God can do the same for you. All power belongs to God (Psa. 62:11). When He wants to make you deliver results in any sphere of life, He puts His ability in you and thereby equips you to perform in that area. It is God's ability put on you that is termed 'anointing you with power'. Your desire and prayer should be that God will anoint you with the power to perform whatever you need to do. Some people claim that there is no need to pray for God to anoint you, you should just pray to be holy and make Heaven. But I want you to know that it is not wrong to ask God to anoint you with power so that you can fulfil your purpose here on earth. If Jesus was anointed with power to fulfil His purpose on earth, then you also need to be.
Righteousness is a requirement for God's anointing to rest on you, You love righteousness and hate wickedness; Therefore God, Your God, has anointed You With the oil of gladness more than Your companions: Psa. 45:7 (NKJV). You must also love God and love people so that the power God anoints you with will be used to meet people's need and not for selfish ends. I pray for you that the Lord will anoint you with His power, in Jesus’ name.

Prayer/Action
* Ask God to anoint you afresh with His power.
* Renounce every work of unrighteousness that can hinder the move of God’s power on you.
* Promise the Lord that the power you receive from Him will further His Kingdom on earth.

PROPHETIC PRAYER
Today, I lift my hands to the God of Heaven and declare that June shall not be empty of good things for me, in the name of Jesus.

Against Spiritual Death

Wednesday 8 June
READ: 1 John 5: 11 - 12
MORE LESSON: Heb.10:31

Death is not the end of life. It is merely a separation. Physical death is when a man is separated from his body. When a child of God is separated from the body then he becomes united with the Lord and he will be with Him forever more. Paul understood this when he said, I am willing rather to be absent from the body, and to be present with the Lord: 2 Cor 5:8. Physical death is gain for a child of God; it is an opportunity for such a man to be with his Lord and reign with Him. It is only for a man who is not saved that physical death becomes a loss.
Spiritual death is separation from the Eternal Life which is in Jesus Christ. Anyone who doesn't have Jesus Christ in him is spiritually dead. Jesus is Life and he who has Jesus has life. He who doesn't have Jesus is spiritually dead even if he is physically alive. A person who is not connected with Jesus is spiritually dead. 1 John 5:11-12 has this record, God hath given to us eternal life, and this life is in his Son. He that hath the Son hath life; and he that hath not the Son of God hath not life. This means there are many people who are dead but are walking around; these are the people who have not given their lives to Jesus Christ.
When a man who has eternal life through Jesus Christ dies physically, he continues to live with Jesus in Heaven. Such a man doesn't die, physical death is just a visa for him to go home in victory. However, when a man who is spiritually dead because he doesn't have the Life of Christ dies physically, he goes to hell. He will be cast into the lake of fire. This is the second death; it is eternal death, And death and hell were cast into the lake of fire. This is the second death. And whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire: Rev 20:14-15.
The second death is eternal separation from God in the lake of fire. It happens to everyone that doesn't accept Jesus till he faces physical death. Physical death is compulsory but the second death is what everyone must avoid. You must not be separated from God eternally, you must not go to hell. Give your life to Jesus today so that even if you experience physical death, you will not experience the second death. I pray you don't die spiritually and that the lake of fire will not be your eternal home, in Jesus’ name. You must take a decision to personally make Jesus your Lord and Saviour and that must be now, if you have not done it before or if you did but lost it. Time is of essence because It is appointed unto a man once to die, after this judgment: Heb. 9:27.

Prayer/Action
1. Rededicate your life to Jesus now.
2. Ask God to hold your hands lest you fall, in Jesus’ name.
3. Renounce every satanic work that can cause you spiritual death.

PROPHETIC PRAYER
Father, I decree that the power of mercy, favour and grace should join force together and move me forward this month, in the name of Jesus.

Men will Laugh with You

Tuesday 7 June
READ: Gen 15: 1 – 6
MORE LESSON: Gen 18: 9 - 15

Abraham is respected and regarded as the father of all in the faith because of his demonstration of faith in God (Gal 3: 7). But even faithful Abraham once got to a point where the situation looked so hopeless that he complained. In Gen 15: 1, the Lord said to Abram, Fear not, Abram: I am thy shield, and thy exceeding great reward. God called him by name and made a great promise to him. One would have thought that Abraham would have celebrated such a wonderful promise but he responded, Lord God, what wilt thou give me, seeing I go childless, and the steward of my house is this Eliezer of Damascus? And Abram said, Behold, to me thou hast given no seed: and, lo, one born in my house is mine heir. He heard God's promise and responded with complaints and doubts because he was overwhelmed by situations. When situations go wrong for a protracted length of time, even a man of faith can be turned to a weakling. That is why I pray for you that every stubborn situation that is making you begin to doubt God will bow and give way today, in Jesus’ name.
Even Sarah too got to the point where she didn't have faith anymore. The Lord spoke to her in Gen 18: 9 - 12, I will certainly return unto thee according to the time of life; and, lo, Sarah thy wife shall have a son. And Sarah heard it in the tent door, which was behind him.. . .
Therefore Sarah laughed within herself, saying, After I am waxed old shall I have pleasure, my lord being old also? People laughed at her so much that she began to laugh at herself. The issue had become so much of a reproach to her that she laughed at herself. But I declare by the Spirit of the Lord that every unyielding reproach that has turned your faith to unbelief is destroyed today, in Jesus’ name.
However, in Gen 21:1-3, the Lord visited Sarah as he had said, and the Lord did unto Sarah as he had spoken. For Sarah conceived, and bare Abraham a son in his old age, at the set time of which God had spoken to him. The Lord visited Sarah and she gave birth to a son and they called him Isaac – meaning laughter. Everyone that had laughed at her began to laugh with her. God will visit you and do as He has said. God will not do less than He has promised you. Whatever the promise of God is which is looking weak in your life and is starting to turn your faith to unbelief, I want you to know that God will strengthen you today and bring laughter and testimony out of that situation. The same Abraham who complained and Sarah who doubted eventually celebrated the faithfulness of God. God brought laughter out of a written-off situation for them and He will do the same for you.

Prayer/Action
* Oh Lord, replace my tears today with laughter, in Jesus’ name.
* Lord, today, give me a song as an answer to those that ask me where my God is that gives song.

PROPHETIC PRAYER
I prophesy to my destiny, in the month of June, there shall be no limit to how far you can go in life in the name of Jesus.

Unthankfulness

Monday 6 June
READ: 2 Tim. 3:1-5
MORE LESSON: Lk.17:11-18

One of the signs of the end time is that people will be unthankful. Everybody will be claiming rights and they will see no reason to give thanks when things are given to them. Children will collect school fee and will not look back to say thank you. If they ever say 'thank you', it is as they pass by. If somebody has ever told you before that you are an ungrateful person, don't make light of it or defend yourself; just go on your knees to God and begin to fast and pray that God should rid you of that spirit. Unthankfulness is a demon of the end time. If it is influencing your life, please fight against it.
People are influenced by the demon of unthankfulness because they lack the ability to think deep. Those who can think deep will learn to be grateful. So if you want to live a thankful life; if you don't want that spirit of unthankfulnes that is hovering around to rest upon you, learn to think deep. When you think deep, you will know that although you don't have enough money in your pocket today, some people have money in their pocket, they even stash it up in their houses, but money cannot solve their misery. And here you are, it's just that the money hasn't come; you still have all the health. Your colleagues must have bought the best cars in town and you are still trekking. If you can think deep, you will know that the matter is that you have not bought your own; it is not that you will never buy. There is a difference between 'have not bought' and 'will not buy'. When your own will come, your colleagues’ own will have become old model.
If you think deep you will learn to resist that thing that makes men to be ungrateful. There was a time in my life when I learnt to always say, “Thank you Jesus”, but I noticed that sometimes my words were changing to “help me Lord”. So I quickly found a way to adjust myself. The message I want to leave with you this morning is that you should be thankful at all times. Even when you think there is a need to say, “Help me Lord” there are innumerable things to give thanks for. The way to live in the perilous time we are in is to learn to be thankful because there are a lot of things that can make you conclude that there are no reasons to thank God. It is ungodly to be unthankful. It is a grievous sin against God and it shuts the door of another day. Say, thank You Jesus now, and always be thankful.

Prayer/Action
* I renounce and reject every spirit of unthankfulness in me today, in Jesus’ name.
* I offer everything I have and my body a sacrifice of thanksgiving to You alone, oh Lord.

PROPHETIC PRAYER
I prophesy that this month shall be a new season for good in every area of my life, in the name of Jesus

The Wonder Working Saviour 2

Sunday 5 June
READ: Mark 9: 17 – 29
MORE LESSON: Luke 1: 45

The father of a child brought his son, who was tormented by the devil, to the disciples of Jesus. Jesus was not present and the disciples could not perform the needed miracle. I am sure the disciples would have thought they could not perform because they didn't have power. But then Jesus arrived the scene, healed the boy and when asked by His disciples why they could not cast out the devil, He told them it was because they didn't have faith. Just as the disciples could not do the miracle, so will we also not be able to do such today in the absence of faith in the Lord Jesus. In verse 19, Jesus reprimanded their unbelief, O faithless generation, how long shall I suffer you? Bring him to me. One of the things we need to do mighty works is active faith in the power that is in the name of Jesus. Signs and wonders are not possible in the absence of faith.
Secondly, Jesus said to the father of the child: If thou canst believe, all things are possible to him that believeth: Mk 9: 23. Believing that all things are possible is a great factor in receiving our miracles and in being a miracle worker like Jesus. The Scripture says in Lk 1: 37, For with God nothing will be impossible. When we believe that it is possible so will it be for us and through us. The father of that boy needed to believe that even in the physical absence of Jesus, his son could be healed. He could have believed in the disciples and received his miracle.
Thirdly, Jesus pointed out to the disciples what is necessary for signs, wonders and healing in verse 29, And he said unto them, This kind can come forth by nothing, but by prayer and fasting. A regular and consistent prayer life is a great factor in bringing the power of God into physical manifestation. When we eat everyday of our life without the discipline of denying the body some of its cravings, we may not be able to manifest genuine power of God. Setting some days aside in the week to fast and pray is very necessary not just for miracle to happen, but for daily victory and strength in the Lord. We also contact the grace of God in the place of prayer and fasting. Divine direction, guidance and the presence of the Lord are some of the things we contact when we spend time in prayer and fasting.
Brethren, God is highly principled; so if you want to manifest His grace and power, you must have unwavering faith in Christ’s finished work knowing that all things are possible because Jesus accomplished all things for us. Believe God for yourself and others and engage in prayer and fasting regularly, and then manifest God's power raw as was manifested by Jesus.

Prayer/Action
* Father, I receive grace to wait on You in fasting and prayer regularly so that Your power can reside in me.
* I break the yoke of unbelief off my life, in Jesus’ mighty name.
* I receive the spirit of faith as it was in Jesus, in Jesus mighty name.

PROPHETIC PRAYER
This year, this month and even this week, every bitter water of marah shall become sweet in the mighty name of Jesus.

The Wonder Working Saviour 1

Saturday 4 June
READ: Acts 10: 38
MORE LESSON: Psa. 44: 1 - 4

In Acts 10:38, we have the testimony of Jesus' life and ministry: How God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Ghost and with power: who went about doing good, and healing all that were oppressed of the devil; for God was with him. This is the report about Jesus that ''He went about doing good”. This is the report that many heard about Him and they came running to Him; and nobody went to Jesus when He was physically on earth without getting the solution to his problem. Even before Jesus was born, it had been prophesied about Him by the prophet Isaiah, He was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon him; and with his stripes we are healed: Isa 53:5. So one of the wonders that you can expect from Him is the remission of your sins and healing of your sickness. According to Psa. 103: 2, the Lord is He who forgiveth all thine iniquities; who healeth all thy diseases. It is a matter of fact that the wonders that Jesus would do in your life by His stripes have already been prophesied even before He was born. So God's provision for your miracle pre-dates the need you have. This is why whenever any man comes to the Lord in need of a miraculous intervention, he gets it. This is because the provision for the miracle had been made even before the need arose.
Many prophecies about Jesus even before He was born abound, For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called WONDERFUL, Counsellor, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace: Isa.9:6. One of the names of Jesus is literally, 'Wonderful', meaning 'full of wonders'. So Jesus is full of wonders and you can access yours from Him today. The Lord Jesus is the wonder working Saviour and you can always count on Him to work wonders in your life. All you need is to believe in His name and ability. The name of Jesus is full of wonders; use that name today to command the wonder and miracle that you need and watch wonders happen in your situation. Today is a wonderful day and the wonder is in the name and person of Jesus. So, use the name of the wonder working Saviour to command miracles to happen in your life. You shall become a wonder to many, in Jesus’ name.

Prayer/Action
* Use the name of Jesus to command wonders to happen in your situation today.
* Decree healing, salvation and restoration for yourself and your loved ones, in Jesus’ name.
* Ask that the Lord will use your life to show how wonderful He is.

PROPHETIC PRAYER
Father, make me sensitive to Your divine signals this month in the name of Jesus.

Learn to Appreciate

Friday 3 June
READ: Psa. 139: 14
MORE LESSON: Psa. 139: 17

So much has been said about ingratitude and how it wrecks a man's life. An ingrate can never be great. A man that receives things from God and man and cannot say 'thank you' is like a robber. Learn to appreciate God; remember that all you have is given to you by God. As expressed in 1 Cor 4:7, For who maketh thee to differ from another? and what hast thou that thou didst not receive? now if thou didst receive it, why dost thou glory, as if thou hadst not received it?
There is no man that doesn't owe God thanks because there is no man that has the ability to possess anything by himself; it is only in God that you have anything. A man may even not acknowledge God and declare that he got all that he has outside of God. However, it is only because God has permitted you that you have it. The rich fool in Luke 12: 16 – 21 lost his life because he thought that he got all he had by himself and he didn't appreciate God. The breath you breathe, the life you have are from God, appreciate Him
You also need to learn to appreciate people. Everyone that God has used to bless you deserves a thank you. You should appreciate the people that God has brought into your life. Husbands need to appreciate their wives, wives need to appreciate their husbands, parents need to appreciate their children and children need to appreciate their parents. If you grumble and complain about someone, the person becomes worse but when you appreciate people, they become better and better. You must learn to sincerely compliment people and praise them. When someone does well, don't hold the compliment back; give it to him/her generously.
Finally, you must learn how to appreciate yourself. How can you expect people to appreciate you when you do not appreciate yourself? Celebrate how you look, no matter how. I always insist that anybody taller than me is too tall and anybody shorter than me is too short. When you are exactly like me, then you are perfect. Many people keep complaining about not getting a marriage partner, and they are responsible by always being unhappy about the way they look and who they are. If you do not desire yourself, who then will desire you? Learn to celebrate yourself. Celebrate the job you have at hand even if you are looking for a better one. In all that your hand finds to do, rejoice. One of my pastors said, “It's only what you promote that will promote you”. I found that to be true. Many are not promoted because they are not even promoting themselves. Learn to appreciate yourself. It is wickedness and self-punishment for you to be exerting yourself at a thing, and you are not appreciating what you are doing yourself.

Prayer/Action
* Father, I ascribe all the glory to Your name for everything in my life, in Jesus’ name.
* Father, thank You for who I am today, and where You are taking me to tomorrow, in Jesus’ name.

PROPHETIC PRAYER
I take the shield of faith and I ward off every arrow of disaster and pain in this sixth month in the name of Jesus
