End that Sorrow

Tuesday 31 March
READ: 1 Chro. 4:9-10
MORE LESSON: Psa. 50:15

In 1 Chronicles 4:9, we read the story of Jabez; it is such a touching story. His mother named him Jabez because she had very great difficulty at his birth. Everything was contrary to Jabez since the day he was born. Nobody would associate with the man named sorrow; so he was a deserted man until one day when he decided to take a major step of destiny. That one day for you is today! Look at what Jabez did; he didn't sit down in his crisis to organise a pity party but he did something about his problem. He went to the place of prayer. He took a decision; he took a step of prayer. You need to take that same step today.

Learn to pray about the Word; don't only confess it. It is important that you spend quality time before God, and remind Him of what He has said concerning you. Prayer makes things happen. In John 2:5 Mary the mother of Jesus said to the servants at the marriage in Cana of Galilee, Whatsoever He says to you do it. You can do the Word; in other words, practise the Word. Learn to do the Word. Don't finish confessing God's Word and sit down to say, “Well, I'm waiting for what God will do”. If there are things that are supposed to be your own responsibility, be ready to do them. Whatever God is leading you to do get into doing it. Jabez took a spiritual step; he prayed and God granted him his request (I Chro. 4:10). That is why that verse a started with And Jabez was more honourable than his brothers. He was more honourable because he did not watch his destiny run into crisis, he did something about it and his action paid off.

Have you prayed about that matter? Confessing the Word is different from prayer. You should confess the Word but you must also pray. Jabez was not the only one that was bearing a terrible name: there were a few other people in that same passage that had very terrible names but did nothing about their names. For example, Ashur actually means “blackness” (verse 5). The next name there, Tekoa means “tent pitcher”, somebody who never owned his own inheritance but moved from tent to tent. Helah means “rubbish” and Paseah (verse 12) means lameness.

The same verse has Ir-nahash which means a city of serpents. However none of these people did something about his matter; they lived and died as their names suggested of them. But Jabez decided to change his own story. He did this by prayer. You can win that battle in the place of prayer and change the story of your destiny forever if you can only take action. Today is the day to end that sorrow and prayer is the key.

Prayer/Action
* Make this declaration - whatever connects my life with sorrow is hereby terminated.
* Say, ‘I uproot the root cause of every affliction over my life’.
* Prophesy that your destiny is forever connected to rivers of joy and celebration.

PROPHETIC PRAYER
Father, I thank You for the last day of March, let every Lot surrounding my life be separated and destroyed by fire today, in Jesus’ mighty name.

Created for His Pleasure

Monday 30 March
READ: Gen. 2:4-16
MORE LESSON: Rev. 4:11

If you trace back to the beginning when God created man, you will realise that God did not create man to toil. The original place of man was in the Garden of Eden. The word Eden means 'Pleasure' and so Eden was a place of pleasure, comfort and ease. The first good thing about Eden is that it was not the request or proposal of any man. God, out of His own volition, initiated the decision to make the Garden of Eden for man. I want you to know that there is a place in life where you don't have to toil, cry and moan before God blesses you with everything you need. The original purpose of God for your life is that He will supply your needs in advance, that is even before the needs actually arise. The fruits of the trees in the Garden of Eden had already been planted, watered and freely given to man to eat even before the work of dressing the garden was given to him. It means that man was not created to eat from hardship and toil. Sweating and toiling in order to eat came began after the curse that followed the fall of man. Thank God, Jesus has redeemed us from the curse of sin.

The initial position was that what man would eat had been freely given by God even before work was assigned to him. So God is not saying that you should not work. Work is not a curse but a blessing; it is toil that is a curse. However, God gave man the gift of work in order to fulfil his purpose and assignment and not in order to make ends meet and to survive. So when you want to take up a job, the first thing to consider is whether it is compatible with your God-given purpose. As long as you are employed by God's purpose for your life, you will enjoy the work and God will take care of your needs. The master plan of Jehovah for your life is not labour and a life time of stressful toil but a life of comfortable and pleasurable work.

The work God intends for you is one that will help you to fulfil your assignment and purpose, either in the Church or in the secular arena. Such work is easy and pleasurable for you because God also puts the love and passion for it in your heart. I pray that you will not die in labour but your life will experience God's original intention of ease, comfort, pleasure and rest. May you also discover your purpose and destiny, and have the grace to enjoy working towards its fulfilment, in Jesus’ name.

Prayer/Action
* Give thanks to God for His pre-creation provision for you.
* Ask for revelation, direction and guidance over your life fulfilling assignment.
* Rebuke every type of fruitless labour.
* Ask that the provision meant for you in destiny will not elude you.

PROPHETIC PRAYER
My glory, I command you to rise up and shine in 2015, you shall not be silenced.

Be a Problem Solver

Sunday 29 March
READ: Dan. 2:10-20
MORE LESSON: Matt. 5: 13-16

As a child of God, you are a carrier of the glory of God and so a problem solver, a solution giver. You should begin to see yourself as the answer to the problems of the people and the world around you. Cease to see yourself as a problem or the harbinger of problems, but rather as the solution that the world is waiting for.

Daniel went to the Babylonian kingdom as a slave but because of the light and the wisdom of God in his life, he began to solve the problems that the astrologers and wise men of the land couldn't solve. He came as a slave but he didn't bring problems to the kingdom, he brought solutions. No wonder he climbed to the very top position of influence in the same land where he came in as a captive. In Daniel Chapter 2, the king had a dream that troubled him which he forgot and needed someone that would tell him both the dream and its interpretation. That was a problem no one had a solution to. To make matters worse, he commanded that the wise men should be killed if they couldn't tell him his dream and its interpretation, as if they were responsible for his forgetting the dream. When this came to the attention of Daniel, Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego, they knew that they carried on their inside God who has the solution to every problem. Therefore, that fact makes them the solution to the problems in the land.

Be a problem solver in your career and place of work. Glory carriers are problems solvers not trouble makers. Ye are the salt of the earth: but if the salt have lost his savour, wherewith shall it be salted? it is thenceforth good for nothing, but to be cast out, and to be trodden under foot of men: Matt 5: 13. When as the carrier of the glory of God you become a problem and have no value to add, you will lose relevance with men. You are the light of the world and your light will shine, in Jesus’ Name.

There is so much poverty, sickness, marital problems and unemployment in your community but do not join the people who complain and see themselves as being at the mercy of these problems. Believe God that you can be the solution to these problems, not just for yourself but also for everyone around you. Decide that by the reason of God's glory in your life, you will not contribute to the problems in the world but you will be the solution. Pray that God will make you the solution and not the problem in your family, church, community and nation. Shine the light!

Prayer/Action
* Pray that your light will shine everywhere you go.
* Pray that you will be a solution and not a problem wherever you are located.
* Ask God to give you all the needed resources (spiritual and physical) to be a blessing everywhere you go.

PROPHETIC PRAYER
Father, as this month runs out, every dark stain on the horizon of my glory, I decree them cleansed out, in Jesus’ name.

Daily Load of Benefits

Saturday 28 March
READ: Psalm 68: 19
MORE LESSON: Psa. 92:12-15

I have good news for you today. The news is that Lord wants to load you with benefits. This is neither on a weekly nor monthly basis, but every single day of your life. This means that on a daily basis, God has a basketful of blessings, provisions and benefits made ready for you. No matter how old you live to be, before you wake up each day there is a load of benefits waiting for you; and remember this scripture was written before you were born. So from the day of your birth to your last day on earth there is a blessing from God to you.

As wonderful as it is that God blesses us each day, that is not all the excitement to it. Also, the blessing for each day is a load. Mind you, when God calls something a load I assure you that it can't finish in a day. So the load of yesterday would not have been exhausted when God delivers another to you today. And He will not fail in delivery for a single day because He has enough resources to daily load all human beings with benefits from eternity past to eternity to come. What wonderful news!

The secret to getting your delivery daily is that every day you wake up the first thing to do is to give thanks to the Lord. You should lift up your hands to heaven and say, 'Oh Lord, thank you for today. I'm excited about the new day. Thank you for the load of benefits that is waiting for me in all my ways today.' Then you proceed to use the Name of Jesus to bind anything that stops the delivery of your load for the day. You can thereafter go ahead to command the day open for all the benefits coming. From today never start the day crying, murmuring or complaining any more. Don't say, 'Yesterday was bad enough, today has come again.' But rather reach out in faith and confidence and see the benefits that will be delivered to you each day.

That is not the end of this wonderful news. The high point today is that you can claim the benefits in arrears if you have lived without receiving the delivery of your loads of benefits all these years. I want you to know that all the ones you didn't receive were stolen by the devil but since your name is on the loads you can reclaim them. Just take the Name and Blood of Jesus and begin to rebuke the devil to get his hands off all your benefits, past, present and future, and then in faith,u start to claim them in arrears.

Believe this wonderful news in God's Word that the Lord our God daily loads us with benefits.

Prayer/Action
* Give God thanks for all the benefits already waiting for you this new day.
* Thank God for being so mindful of you as to prepare loads of benefits for your destiny.
* Command the blessings of today to be downloaded now.
* Ask that all that caterpillars and canker worms have eaten be restored now.

PROPHETIC PRAYER
I bless everyone that has been a blessing to me this year, especially my physical and spiritual parents; they will not lack helpers.

Burden Bearers

Friday 27 March
READ: Num 11:16-17
MORE LESSON: Phil. 2:19-22

There was a time when Moses grew tired of the ministry because the burden of the people was too much for him to carry. The people made life difficult for him till he cried to God that he was tired, and prayed for death. One of the greatest weapons the devil uses against God's servants is discouragement and he always uses people to achieve this. You must decide never to assist the devil by being an instrument of discouragement to your spiritual leaders. Rather, commit yourself to be an instrument of encouragement to the prophet God has set over you.

However, in the midst of this discouragement, we learn an important principle: God raised people to bear the burden with Moses. So the LORD said to Moses, Gather to Me seventy men of the elders of Israel . . . I will take of the Spirit that is upon you and will put the same upon them; and they shall bear the burden of the people with you, that you may not bear it yourself alone: Num 11:16-17 (NKJV). The Lord is still in the business of raising burden bearers for His servants. People that make themselves available to be burden bearers are the ones that will be raised to positions of leadership in the Body of Christ. They will also get to be anointed with the same Spirit that God has placed upon His servant. They are the future leaders of the work of God. There are many blessings that accrue with becoming a burden bearer of the Lord alongside His chosen servant. I pray that God will give you spiritual maturity so that you will not be a burden to God's servants but a burden bearer with them.

Each time God wants to achieve a new dimension of ministry in His servants, He raises men that will do the work with them. God is interested in succession, continuity and expansion of His work, and we also should. We should know that God's work is not a one-man job but one that we all need to carry on together. God is still looking for men that will make themselves available so that He can release His Spirit upon them to carry on the work along with His appointed servants.

When Joshua, the servant of Moses, saw God anoint new men, he quickly demanded that Moses should stop them from prophesying because he felt that the new development would take the ministry from Moses (verse 28). But Moses, a mature servant of God, explained to the young man that it was God's will and for the benefit of all, that men are raised. But Moses replied, Are you jealous for my sake? I wish that all the Lord's people were prophets and that the Lord would put his Spirit on them! (verse 29).

Today you can be one of the burden bearers that God will raise and anoint for His work if you make yourself available.

Prayer/Action
* Pray that you will be a pillar and not a caterpillar in the Kingdom of God.
* Pray that you will inherit the double portion of your spiritual leader like Elisha and not leprosy like Gehazi.
* Pray to be a tool in the hand of God and not a spanner in the wheel of progress.

PROPHETIC PRAYER
The glory of my latter house shall be greater than the former and I shall make progress.

Make Yourself Available for Glory

Thursday 26 March
READ: Gen. 2:5
MORE LESSON: Eph. 1:9-12

When God created the Garden of Eden in the beginning, there was a glory and beauty upon that garden. Everything planted in the garden grew and was fruitful. There was a river that parted into four tributaries that watered the garden. The trees of the garden were ready for food and everything had been prepared. The garden was ready and the glory was there but the Bible says that God had not caused it to rain and there was no man to till the ground. The man to occupy the garden was not to labour to prepare the garden but to enter into an already prepared glory. But no man was available so God created Adam to enjoy the glory made ready in the garden.
The Bible says that God had not caused it to rain because He had not found the man that would till the ground. Glory was available in the created garden but God needed a man that will step into the glory. God is still in the business of looking for men that will manifest His glory in our days. He is searching for people that He will use as tools, even in this end time, to affect and impact this generation.
If you are born again, the seed of the glory is already in you; you just need to make yourself available to God in order to go forth and manifest His glory. Make up your mind that wherever you find yourself, you will make yourself available for God's glory there. Go forth in your school, business, place of work or wherever you find yourself, and manifest the glory of God.
Are you available for God to make you manifest His glory? Refuse to hide the glory of God; refuse to be lazy or to put your light under a bushel. The text we read says there was no man to till the ground and manifest the glory of the garden that God created. Let it not be said in your own time that there is no man to manifest God's glory and to serve Him. Be that man that will be available to do His will and manifest His glory.
Man is undoubtedly created for the sole aim of manifesting God’s glory, and there is still room for you to be one of such examples. If you are going through a challenge of life, that situation in God’s hand is an opportunity to turn you to a wonder and a testimony. That challenge is not designed to ruin you but to prove what God can do through you. So, don’t despair; don’t give up. Keep up with God and you will be the next evidence of His glory.

Prayer/Action
* Thank God for the opportunity to be an agent of glory in life and destiny.
* Ask God to grant you grace to live worthy of His glory.
* Ask God to turn every situation of your life to a praise of His glory.

PROPHETIC PRAYER
The function and purpose of God for my life shall not be aborted, in the mighty name of Jesus.

Arise and Shine

Wednesday 25 March
READ: Isaiah 60:1-7
MORE LESSON: Isa. 40:1-5

Arise, shine; for thy light is come, and the glory of the LORD is risen upon thee: Is. 60:1. This popular portion of the Scripture talks about the rising of the glory of God upon His people. And God's glory is certainly something we all desire to see manifest in our lives. Everything God has created has its own glory. There is one glory of the sun, and another glory of the moon, and another glory of the stars: for one star differeth from another star in glory: 1 Cor. 15:41. Every man has his glory but not everyone is shining forth the glory, which is the reason God told His people to arise and shine forth the glory. I pray that your glory will show forth, in Jesus’ Name.

Your glory talks about your virtue, value and worth. It is time for you to begin to engage your abilities, virtues and worth so that you could have achievements and results to show to God's glory. You may meet a man who does not look very impressive to you until you begin to hear that the same man has many achievements and owns so much wealth. When you get to know that he has written so many books, travelled to speak in so many countries and bagged so many awards, you immediately begin to respect him. Why? Because you just heard about his glory-his attributes, abilities, qualities and results. That will be your portion, in Jesus’ name; men will begin to respect you as they see God’s glory upon you.

When we read Isaiah chapter 59, which proceeds God's command to the people to arise, we realize the condition of the people God told them to arise. They were living in sin for which reason they lost the glory. Behold, the Lord's hand is not shortened, that it cannot save; neither his ear heavy, that it cannot hear: But your iniquities have separated between you and your God, and your sins have hid his face from you, that he will not hear. They were down because of sin. Any sinful man or nation is always without glory. And the Redeemer shall come to Zion, and unto them that turn from transgression in Jacob, saith the LORD: Isa. 59:20. Immediately after turning from transgression, the next chapter says, Arise, shine; for thy light is come, and the glory of the LORD is risen upon thee: Isa. 60:1.

If you want glory, you have to say goodbye to sin. Sin makes a man come short of the glory but when such a man turns to the Lord, his story changes.
As you turn from sin to the Lord today, I prophesy that your light is come; you will arise and God's glory will be evident upon you. Whatever acts of sin that might have been tying down your glory, I rebuke them today, in Jesus’ name. Your glory will rise in this new day that the Lord has made, in Jesus’ name.

Prayer/Action
* Give God thanks for His promise of glory upon your life.
* Ask that whatever is covering your glory (known and hidden) be broken today.
* Declare that your destiny will not be crippled but shall arise and shine from today on.

PROPHETIC PRAYER
I rededicate my life and destiny to the God of Israel today and forever, in the mighty name of Jesus.

When Others are Blessed

Tuesday 24 March
READ: Psa. 84:11-12
MORE LESSON: James 1:17

I want you to know that every goodness that you see in people can be duplicated in you. There is nothing good that you have seen that cannot come to you. However, it is the attitude that you have towards someone else's good that determines whether you have your own. Today I want you to have the right attitude towards other people's blessings so that you can have your own.

One of the reasons human beings are envious when somebody has something that they do not have is because they do not realize that whatever someone has is also available to them. The God that gave that man can give you as well. Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, and comes down from the Father of lights, with whom there is no variation or shadow of turning: James 1:17 (NKJV).

The first thing to do when someone has something that you don't have is to celebrate God for that person. When you sincerely thank God for another person's goodness, you have just signed a cheque for yours. If you have been trusting God for children, you don't have to turn your face away when you see a pregnant woman. Instead, look at her very well and commend her, trusting God that that is how you are going to look when you become pregnant. That woman's pregnancy is a testimony that God is still giving children to people and so He will give you. If you are unemployed and you hear the testimony of someone who got a job, don't get angry, bitter or cry in secret. What to do is to dance with the person, knowing that your own is also on the way.

You must recognize that good things can be contacted and transferred. When someone has a good thing that you want, you can sow a seed to that person and contact the blessing. If you are unmarried and the right partner is not forthcoming, and you hear that someone is getting married, that is the time to sow seeds of money, support and assistance to that wedding. By so doing, you have contacted that good thing and it will be transferred to you.

Also, know that any person's achievement is also available for and you can even be surpassed. The fact that someone has achieved something means that too you can achieve it. Recognize that the good thing that someone has is not the limit of the expression of that thing. If you desire to do something and someone else gets it done, don't be envious. Just aim for a higher expression of that thing and God will give it to you. Don't be envious of people's goodness but let it motivate you to aspire for good things as well. Let us think of ways to motivate one another to acts of love and good works. (Heb. 10:24-25).

Prayer/Action
* Give thanks to God for what He is doing for everyone around you-mention some.
* Pray that God will sustain those things in the life of those people.
* Ask that God will do same and more for you that together, you all will celebrate God’s goodness to His glory,

PROPHETIC PRAYER
Today, I put a total end to every reoccurring affliction in my destiny, in Jesus’ mighty name.

Activate the Word

Monday 23 March
READ: Josh. 14:6-13
MORE LESSON: Jn. 55: 10-11

The Word of God is true and does not fail, but we need to learn how to align ourselves with the Word so as to experience its performance. All that is written in the Bible is yours just for the asking but there are things to do to make them happen. God's Word is everything you require; you only need to know how to activate it.

The first step in making the Word work for you is to have a good knowledge of what is written. If you don't know what is written for you, you can't claim it. If a will is written by a father and he dies and the son doesn't know what was written in the will, he can't lay a claim to the estate bequeathed to him. The Bible is a compilation of God's will for you: the word 'testament' actually means 'will'. The Old Testament reveals the 'old will' and the New Testament shows the 'new will' of God for you. When Jesus died He left a will, the Bible. You need to discover what is in the will and lay claim to the promise in the will for you. Your destiny will enter rest and cease from all labour when you discover what is written in God's will which shows the inheritance that Jesus left for you.

After you have discovered what is written concerning you, keep confessing it. Say it till it happens. Caleb kept in his heart the promise Moses made to him that he would inherit the land of Canaan (Deut. 1:36, Josh. 14:6-12). Fourty-five years later when he was 85, he had not forgotten what was said concerning him. As soon as he entered Canaan, he demanded for the land that God promised him. You can't demand what you don't know, and when you know it, you also cannot stay at the point of just knowing. You must do something about it; keep confessing it. There is at least a promise for each aspect of your life from the scriptures; it is time to appropriate them. There are promises of provision, protection, fruitfulness, greatness, grace, anointing and whatever you need in life. Search them out and when you find them, just keep confessing them. Don't get tired of confessing the Word and don't get tired speaking the Word. Heaven and earth will pass away but God's Word will never go unfulfilled because, For ever, O Lord, thy word is settled in heaven: Ps. 119:89 (NKJV).

Beyond confession however is the issue of believing that Word. Every Word of God is activated at the point of faith. If you don't believe in what you have read and confessed, you have simply wasted your time. Jesus once said, ...If thou canst believe, all things are possible to him that believeth Mk. 9:23. Meditate on it.

Prayer/Action
* Ask God to help and increase your faith.
* Ask God to open your understanding to the depth of His Word.
* Lift up your two hands and declare, “God I believe Your Word; make me an evidence of Your Word.

PROPHETIC PRAYER
Every scar of past affliction in my life, by the mighty power of God, be removed, in Jesus’ name.

Walking in Miracles

Sunday 22 March
READ: Heb 11: 1 -3
MORE LESSON: Heb 11: 1 - 40

God operates by principles and if you will abide by His principles, you will get results. God's precise principle for you to step into the realm of miracles is simple: have faith in His Word. If you can stake your life on the Word of God, you will continually walk in the miraculous and the supernatural. Faith in the Word of God is the key to miracles. It is by faith that the elders obtained a good testimony: Heb. 11:2 (NKJV). The Bible states clearly that it is always to you according to your faith (Matt. 9:29) not according to another man's faith because the just shall live by His own faith (Hab. 2:4). This means you might be the pastor's grandson but if you do not have faith, you will not receive a miracle. If you fall sick as a pastor's son, at best, the pastor can use his faith to get money to take you to the hospital. But if you want to receive a healing miracle from God, you will need to exercise your personal faith in Him.

Faith comes by being full of the Word of God (Rom. 10:17). This is why the most important thing you can do in life is to get the Word of God for yourself. When God wants to help a man, He reveals His Word to him. The evidence of God's love for you is the revelation of the prescription in the Word for what you are seeking. Everything that God has done in the affairs of men is by His WORD; so to enjoy God, you need to find out what His Word says . . . He upholds all things by the word of his power . . . : Heb 1:3.

Your priority in life should be the Word; be more concerned about what the Word of God says than what anybody has to say. Personally, I am not threatened by situations or persons that will want me to act contrary to the Word. I can only be threatened by the Word of God; everything anybody has to say comes after what God says. I would rather die on the Word of God than be a coward and go against the Word. That should be your declaration as well. The first and perhaps the greatest miracle is that God created this material universe out of nothing. When we study how God created everything, we will know the secret of miracles. Through faith we understand that the worlds were framed by the word of God, so that things which are seen were not made of things which do appear Heb. 11:3. The heavens and earth were created by His Word. That is the secret of miracles; you cannot fail if you abide by His Word.

Prayer/Action
* Ask God to strengthen your faith in His Word.
* Ask God to reveal His Word to you over every matter of your life.
* Ask for a miracle today. Mention the name of the miracle specifically and give thanks to God for it now.

PROPHETIC PRAYER
Father, anoint me a permanent vessel of praise to Your name, in the mighty name of Jesus.

Overcoming Demonic Harassment II

Saturday 21 March
READ: 1Sam.16:14-16
MORE LESSON: Gal. 5:19-21

We understood from yesterday's devotion that demons are wicked spirits who seek to pervert men's destiny and de-humanize them. Demonic invasion into peoples' lives is usually very subtle, systematic and progressive. In other words, demons don't just jump at people, take hold of their destiny and turn it the way they want. It is important to know that demons, being spirits, are everywhere. Demons are very mobile, and will take possession of anything (animate or inanimate) if they find the environment conducive.

What are some of the things men do that make them vulnerable and susceptible for demons to settle on?
1) Indulgence in unrighteousness: when you give yourself over to doing what you know is not right.
2) Blatant disobedience.
3) All forms of immoral sexual practices.
4) Indulgence in the works of the flesh listed in Gal. 5:19-21.
5) Involvement in cultural and traditional practices that have their foundation in demonism.
6) Friendship with unbelievers and people who have given their lives to serve demons and Satan.
7) Involvements in cults and occult festivals and feasts (1Cor. 10:19-20).

How do you keep demons away from settling on you? To keep dust away or remove dirt from your cloth or body, what do you do? You dust off or clean up by washing with water. In the same manner, demons are dusted off when we pray o attend take part in prayer meetings. They are washed away by the water of the Word when we come under the ministration of God's Word. This is the reason why you must not keep away from fellowship and prayer meeting.

Other preventive measures include:
i. Consistent renewal of your mind and thoughts with the Word of God – Rom. 12:2;
ii. Keep your spirit, soul and body holy- Rom.12:1;
iii. Mind your company- I Cor. 5:9-11;
iv. Regularly plead the Blood of Jesus on your whole being;
v. Keep your spirit constantly busy with the Word of God;
vi. Avoid pornography, unscriptural audio or video movies and occasionally take a fast and ask God to purify you afresh;
vii. Spend time praying in tongues often.

Prayer/Action
* Declare: I shake off every unclean spirit that seeks to attach itself to me, in Jesus’ name.
* Ask God to purge you of every demonic attachment and spirit.
* Lay hands on your head, ask the spirit of God to come upon you afresh now.

PROPHETIC PRAYER
Father, let my appearance before You at all times be filled with testimonies, in the name of Jesus.

Overcoming Demonic Harassment I

Friday 20 March
READ: Matt.10:1-8
MORE LESSON: Mark 5: 1-8

In order to be free from demonic harassment, we need to understand who demons are and how they operate. Apostle Paul warned that the devil will take advantage of us if we are ignorant of his devices (2Cor.2:11). It is pertinent that believers understand who demons are, and how they operate in and around men's lives.

Demons are spirit beings. You may recall that Apostle Paul said in Eph.6: 12: We wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places. Demons are wicked spirits. Although demons can dwell in anything - animate and inanimate, human beings are their ultimate targets if they are able to gain access. Their goal is to de-humanize the life they control, reduce the life and destiny of such individual to a sub-human being. That is why in scriptures demons are also regarded as unclean spirits. Have you wondered why during prayers of deliverance a human being begins to wriggle and move like a snake, crawl like a cat or bark like a dog? That is a demon whose mission is to reduce the destiny of that life to that of an animal whose characteristics are manifested at deliverance. Demons are wicked and must not be allowed to take over any life.

Jesus gave ample time of His ministry casting out demons:
And Jesus went about all Galilee, teaching in their synagogues, and preaching the gospel of the kingdom, and healing all manner of sickness and all manner of disease among the people. And his fame went throughout all Syria: and they brought unto him all sick people that were taken with divers diseases and torments, and those which were possessed with devils, and those which were lunatick, and those that had the palsy; and he healed them: Matt. 4:23-24.

Jesus also gave His disciples power and authority to cast out demons. And when he had called unto him his twelve disciples, he gave them power against unclean spirits, to cast them out, and to heal all manner of sickness and all manner of disease: Matt. 10:1. As wicked as demons are, they are subject to the believer at the name of Jesus. Therefore, do not fear or beg demons; they are to be cast out. You are ...to cast out all thine enemies from before thee, as the LORD hath spoken: Deut. 6:19.

Prayer/Action
* I take authority over every unclean spirit operating in and around your life today, in Jesus’ name.
* I command every demonic harassment against your life to cease now, in Jesus’ name.
* Ask God to anoint you for signs and wonders like the apostles in Matt. 10:1.
Take time to pray in tongues today for a minimum of 30minutes .

PROPHETIC PRAYER
Oh Lord, encourage me with a miraculous surprise before this month runs out, in Jesus’ name.

Freedom from Demonic Manipulation IV

Thursday 19 March
READ: Matt.12:22-23
MORE LESSON: 2 Cor. 10:4-6

The Scripture reading today is about this men; one was blind and dumb man and another one who was dumb and demon possessed. Blindness and dumbness are physical infirmities of the body. The section of the brain that is responsible for the co-ordination of speech or sight may have been affected for a man to be dumb or blind. If the problem is not resident in the brain, it may be with the tongue or vocal cord and the eye balls. These are cases the medical experts can explain and attempt to provide remedy for. If they cannot solve their problem, they advise you to live with it all the days of your life. But for the cases in today’s passage, demons were responsible for the dumbness and blindness. When they came before Jesus, He went after the root cause.(Matt.9:33, Luke 11:14).

What lessons do we learn here about demons and physical infirmities? 1) Some of the physical infirmities people carry around and are battling to treat in the hospital are the work of demons. 2) Demons can reside in and manipulate tissues, organs or systems of the body, causing them to manifest symptoms of infirmities. 3)Such infirmities are better treated only when the demons are cast out. Medication alone, as we observed three days ago, will not address the matter. 4) The plan of the devil against you is to waste your meagre resources. So he plants a demon on one organ or system of your body in the name of sickness. Except the demon goes, you will waste all your resources on medication to no avail. This was the situation of the woman with the issue of blood for twelve years; she had spent all her living upon physicians, and could be healed by any doctor until she touched the hem of Jesus' garment (Luke 8:43-48).

Friend, take a second thought over the neurological, gynaecological, oncological, and psychological cases you are battling with in the hospital. Could there be a demon at work? While you continue your hospital medication, also seek the intervention of the Lord Jesus- the Great Physician. He is doing a ward round today, and is now by your bed side, right there in your room or hospital bed. You can touch His garment now, and you will be free and made whole. Stretch your faith like the woman with the issue of blood. When it became tough, she said within herself, If I may but touch his garment, I shall be whole: Matt.9:21. Those who look unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith are never disappointed. And the LORD said unto Moses, Make thee a fiery serpent, and set it upon a pole: and it shall come to pass, that every one that is bitten, when he looketh upon it, shall live: Num. 21:8.

Prayer/Action
* LORD Jesus, heal me and I shall be healed, save me now and I shall be saved.
* Make intercession for someone who is sick today and ask God to heal and deliver him/her.

PROPHETIC PRAYER
Every predetermined destination that the enemy has said will be my last bus stop, I decree by the Holy Ghost, shall be the beginning of a better life for me, in Jesus’ name.

Freedom from Demonic Manipulation III

Wednesday 18 March
READ: Mark 7:24-30
MORE LESSON: Ephesians 6:11-14

Today's Scripture reading is about a Greek woman who demonstrated her faith in the LORD Jesus to get her daughter free from demonic harassment. Although the Scripture did not tell us the nature of this demonic harassment, it is obvious that it was something the mother could no longer put up with. She might have gone everywhere looking for solution but to no avail. So, when she heard about Jesus, she came and fell at His feet. To fall at someone's feet in Jewish culture is an act of worship and prayer. She knew exactly what was troubling her young daughter, ...for she had an unclean spirit (demon). She also knew that the solution to the girl's predicament is for someone with a higher spiritual authority to cast the demon out of the girl. As she stood before Jesus, she wasted no time telling stories but directly besought Him that He would cast forth the devil out of her daughter (vs.26).

It is unfortunate that some Christian parents do not seek to know the root of what is troubling their children and wards. They are either so busy or too carefree to watch over their children and to observe the troubles early enough to nib them. When children begin to behave strangely and manifest vices like stealing, lying, cruelty, wickedness, inordinate actions, continuous drop in school performance, etc, some parents suppose that such behaviours are characteristics of adolescents and that soon their children will outgrow and pull off such. Other parents flog, beat and nag at their children until they and the children become frustrated. You must understand that there are unclean spirits (demonic forces) behind vices. Ephesians 2:2-3 tells us that there is a spirit at work in the sons of disobedience referred to as the prince of the power of the air. Wherein in time past ye walked according to the course of this world, according to the prince of the power of the air, the spirit that now worketh in the children of disobedience: Among whom also we all had our conversation in times past in the lusts of our flesh, fulfilling the desires of the flesh and of the mind; and were by nature the children of wrath, even as others.

Your child's destiny is under threat and you must arise to confront these spirits; cast them out of your child, and the behaviour will change. If you can't do it, go to genuine servants of God who will cast out the spirit by God's Word only; not by holy water, holy oil, special candles or incenses, sponge, or any form of sacrifice. You and your household can be free from demonic harassment today if you care to bring your matter before the feet of Jesus.

Prayer/Action
* Say - “Jesus, I surrender my life and home to you for deliverance and total freedom ."
* Arise Lord; rescue my children from spirits that may have risen against their destiny.

PROPHETIC PRAYER
Father, I reject manifestation abortion this year, in Jesus’ name.

Freedom from Demonic Manipulation II

Tuesday 17 March
READ: Luke 13:10-16
MORE LESSON: John 8:36

Yesterday, we read about a man who was a regular worshipper in Church but still under the influence of unclean spirit (demon). In today's reading, Jesus took particular note of a woman who was also a regular attendee of a local church assembly and was bent over by an infirmity. She had been in that state for eighteen years. It appears the Church authority had given up on her matter and maybe the woman had also resigned to fate. But one good thing about her was that she did not forget God. She did not accuse God for her predicament, but kept going to Church until the day that Jesus picked her out of the congregation, and said to her; Woman, you are loosed from your infirmity (vs. 12). Then He laid His hands on her, and immediately she was made straight.

It is unfortunate that in our generation, some people stay away from Church because they have one infirmity or the other. Some stay away from the gathering of believers in order to hide their infirmity. There are those that have been pushed out of Church because some brethren cast aspersion on them owing to the infirmity in their body. Although this woman's infirmity was visible to all, she did not stop coming to Church. It was therefore easy for the compassion to Jesus to flow toward her. To the ordinary eyes, that woman had an infirmity that bent her over; doctors may have treated her but to no avail. In addressing her case, Jesus spoke to the root, identifying who or what was responsible for her trouble: ...And ought not this woman, being a daughter of Abraham, whom Satan hath bound, lo, these eighteen years, be loosed from this bond on the Sabbath day?: vs 15 & 16. For eighteen good years she was under the excertion of Satan but all kinds of medication were being administered on her.

Such predicaments abound in our time: many diseases and afflictions that people carry around are the works of demons. Unfortunately, the people do not know nor understand that they are under the excertion of Satan. Not all sicknesses and diseases are demonic, but some medical conditions and predicaments people are battling with have demonic roots and may manifest any of the following characteristics: 1)Despite intense medication, the trouble keeps re-occurring; 2) the exact root causes are difficult to identify; 3) their occurrence could be seasonal, and particularly at crucial times and seasons of the person's life. 4) When prayers are made, the matter seems to abate and once prayer ceases, it re-surface. For such afflictions, medications alone cannot work:. you need the counsel and touch of Jesus Christ, the Great Physician. He is forever alive to attend to the health of anyone who calls upon Him. He sent His word, and healed them, and delivered them from their destruction: Ps.107:21.

Prayer/Action
* Give God thanks for His power to deliver all that are afflicted.
* Ask God to send His Word and deliver you from every form of satanic attacks today.

PROPHETIC PRAYER
In the name of Jesus, disturbances will disappear from my life today and I shall live in peace.

Freedom from Demonic Manipulation I

Monday 16 March
READ: Mark 1:21-29
MORE LESSON: 1John 3:7-8

The Scripture reading today reveals the predicament of a man in one of the Jewish synagogues. The synagogues of those days can be likened to the local churches in our time. This man had been attending church for many years, sitting among the other brethren. He might have been a member of one unit or department in that local assembly. The Church leadership either did not know that the man was under the influence and excertion of a demon (unclean spirit) or they knew but could not do anything about it, until that day Jesus mounted the pulpit. As Jesus preached, the Word went into action, and the demons at work in the man's life became uncomfortable, agitated and left him. My prayer for you today is that if there be any area of your life under the excertion and manipulation of unclean spirits, as you observe your devotion, the Word will go into action for you. Every unclean spirit manipulating your destiny will be troubled to leave your life, in Jesus’ name.

There are few lessons to learn from this passage: 1) It is very possible for someone to be very committed to attending church and be involved in church activities, yet he is under the influence and excertion of demons. 2) Demons are no respecter of persons. If you open a door for them in your life, they will enter and torment you. 3) Demons are subject to higher authority. The authority of Jesus was evidently clear to all even from His teachings. 4) It is not God's desire for any man to remain under the influence of demonic forces. One of the reasons God sent Jesus to this world is to destroy the works of the devil against humans lives (1John 3:7). Just has Jesus dealt with the wicked spirit in that man's life, He is ever willing to set free anyone under satanic afflictions. 5) Every time the Word of God goes forth, either in prayer, preaching, study/reading or worship, it has the capability to set you free from demonic excertions and manipulations.

All you need to do is first, submit yourself to the Lordship of Jesus. Believe on Him. Ask Him to intervene in your matter, and then, be permanently free from the harassment of unclean spirits because it is written: If the Son (Jesus Christ) therefore shall make you free, ye shall be free indeed: John 8:36.

Prayer/Action
* Ask God to expose any hidden force operating illegally in your life.
* Using the name of Jesus, eject such oppressive spirit out of your life today.
* Using the following scriptures, uproot from your life any force contrary to the name of Jesus: Phil. 2:10, Matt. 15:13.

PROPHETIC PRAYER
I proclaim that my minimum will turn to maximum as I step out today, in Jesus’ name.

Power for Glory

Sunday 15 March
READ: Lk.5:17-26
MORE LESSON: Ps.35:1-9

It’s established from our reading today that without power, there is no manifestation of glory. There is a driving force for every testimony in the midst of contending natural laws, disease and unease. The force of God reverses these contentions and brings glorious changes.

According to our text, because the power of God was present in the synague, sickness disappeared. The following, among others, are what can provoke the power to bring down God’s presence and chase evil strangers away:
1. Faith, by which a man obtains help to prevail, Who through faith subdued kingdoms, wrought righteousness, obtained promises, stopped the mouth of the lion, quenched the violence of fire, escaped the edge of the sword, out of weakness were made strong, waxed valiant in fight, turned to flight the armies of the aliens. Women received their dead back to life…. Heb.11:32-35.

2. Righteousness is another tool that is effective to release glory to you by force. Men have used this tool with good results; for instance, Hezekiah the king reversed death by reminding God of his righteous walk before Him (II Kings 20:1-6). God answered and added fifteen years to his life.

3. Prayer- the strength to obey the will of God to the end came to Jesus by the force of strong prayer (Lk. 22:41-44). Daniel prayed for 21 days without giving up and answer came by force. Nehemiah completed an assignment of 7 years in 52days by the force of prayer (Neh.1:4;2:4).

4. The force of your seed can break siege. In II Chron1:6, King Solomon gave offerings to the point that God appeared and gave him gifts that no man has received till now. A king broke the siege of battle that was against him by an unusual seed (II Kings 3:25-27). Use a beyond-the-ordinary-offering to break the siege of the enemy over your life.

5. Fasting (Matt. 17:21, Mk. 9:29) is a force. Jesus says that there are certain miracles that will never come except by fasting and prayer; Jesus himself did not start ministry until he had done 40 days and nights of fasting.

You can release your glory by all these tools beginning from today. They worked for others before you and will still work for anyone who will work with the same principles. When the power of God showed up in the days of Jesus every anti-glory matter like sickness and diseases vanished. In like manner today, I decree, every anti-glory force in your life and destiny, disappear, in Jesus’ name. As you employ these instruments to bring power for glory, your testimony will not be less than those chronicled in the scriptures above.

Prayer/Action
* I activate power for glory in my life today by prayer, righteousness and faith.
* I will surely testify of glory in life, in Jesus’ name.

PROPHETIC PRAYER
I declare by the force of Heaven that those waiting to mock me will wait in vain, in Jesus’ name.

Understanding Life

Saturday 14 March
READ: Job 14: 14
MORE LESSON: Job 14: 1 - 5

I know you are alive, or else you would not be reading this today. Today is a great day to be alive, thank God you are. However, there are some things that I want you to know about this life that you have today.

1. Life is a gift, which God has given to you. There are many people more qualified than you that are not alive today. Your life is a gift from God and, by implication, you are a gift to the world.

2. Life is an opportunity as the dead do not have the chance to make any difference anymore. You are alive and it is up to you to choose what to do with the opportunity of life. In all creation, man has the highest privilege such that every other creation of God envies man. This is the reason the Psalmist queried, what is man that thou art mindful of him? Psa. 8:4. You are a human being, alive; you have the greatest opportunity in all creation, so, Whatsoever thy hand findeth to do, do it with thy might; for there is no work, nor device, nor knowledge, nor wisdom, in the grave, whither thou goest: Eccl 9:10.

3. Life is short and so you must maximise your time here on earth. If you have this understanding of life, it will make you live with a sense of urgency, Whereas ye know not what shall be on the morrow. For what is your life? It is even a vapour, that appeareth for a little time, and then vanisheth away: James 4:14.

4. Life has no second chance. For everything you are meant to be and do in life, you have only one shot at it. Life is lived only once and it cannot be reversed or duplicated. Therefore don't waste your life because once you die, know that you are not coming back, ...As it is appointed unto men once to die, but after this the judgment: Heb 9:27. After this life, you have no chance to do what you should do that you don't do or to re-do what you don't do properly.

It is what you do on earth that determines your eternity. This implies that if you do not give your life to Jesus till you die, there is no second chance to come back and make things right. Therefore, it is wisdom to insure your eternity by giving your life to Jesus Christ today.

Prayer/Action
* Ask God for wisdom to live a purposeful life.
* Ask God for grace not to live a careless and reckless life.
* Pray that you will not regret this one life that you have.

PROPHETIC PRAYER
Memorable, beautiful events will begin to happen in my life this day, in Jesus’ name.

God’s Love

Friday 13 March
READ: I Jn.4:10-11
MORE LESSON: Jn.13:34-35

All men come to this world with a nature that does not love God but self. This is due to the deception of Adam and Eve by satan, which led to disobedience in the garden of Eden. The disobedience robbed mankind of the divine attribute of love for God and replaced it with the selfish love that goes with the adamic nature. But God did not leave man in his fallen state, He reached out to us through His only Son, Jesus Christ. Now the grace to manifest the divine attribute of love was restored to man through the second Adam, the Lord Jesus Christ.

Therefore, by Christ Jesus we now can receive, enjoy and share the love of God.
What is the nature of God's love restored to mankind through Christ?

1. It is a universal love void of tribalism and discrimination. No matter your colour, tribe and background, God loves you (Jn.10:16).

2. It is unconditional (Eph.2:4). Even when man is dead in sin, His love reaches out to him.

3. God's love to the world is practical (Jn.3:16). He demonstrated His love by allowing His Son to come and die, paying the highest price to redeem mankind, And without controversy great is the mystery of godliness; God was manifested in the flesh, justified in the spirit, seen of angels, preached unto the gentiles, believed on in the world, received up into glory: I Tim.3:16. Indeed, great is the mystery of God's love for man; in fact man was created out of love, with love and for love.

4. Finally, God’s love for man is total and eternal, even in the fire (Dan.3:24-25), The Lord appeared of old unto me, saying, yea, I have loved thee with an everlasting love, therefore with loving kindness have I drawn thee: Jer.31:3

God's love is commendable, reliable and dependable. It sustains from the earth to Heaven. Bask in that love as you step into the day. Have a great love-filled day.

Prayer/Action
* Thank God for His love.
* Give God thanks for particularly loving you all these years.
* Ask God to help you love Him as He loves you.
* Pray that you will be able to love others as God loves you.

PROPHETIC PRAYER
Father, let my ordained helpers in any part of the world locate me today, in Jesus’ mighty name.

Be Steadfast

Thursday 12 March
READ: Luke 22:28-32
MORE LESSON: Rev.3:21-22

Ye are they which have continued with me in my temptations, and I appoint unto you a kingdom as my father hath appointed unto me: Lk.22:28-29. These are words of assurance for every believer. God knows the pains, tests and trials we go through to keep the faith. He knows the struggles, fears and troubles we experience because of the faith. In some parts of the world today there is great persecution of Christians, putting pressure on them to renounce the Christian faith. God is aware and He encourages, ...therefore, my beloved brethren, be ye steadfast, unmovable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, for as much as ye know that your labor is not in vain in the Lord: I Cor. 15:58.

The encouragement to all is to stay steadfast because there's a Kingdom appointed for those who continue in the faith. It’s not enough to say yes to Jesus, accepting Him as Lord and Saviour; one must continue in the faith and endure to the end, But he that shall endure to the end , the same shall be saved: Matt.24:13.

There is divine provision to enable steadfastness in the faith, notable of it all is the prayer of the Lord Jesus, But I have prayed for you that thy faith fail not; and when thou art converted, strengthen thy brethren: Lk. 22:32. Say this to yourself this morning and be strengthened, The substance of my life that gives me identity with Christ will not be tampered with because Jesus has prayed for me. Be strengthened, in Jesus’ name. This is the crux of the matter, be encouraged when going through hard times because Jesus your advocate stands for you, that your faith will not fail. His blood will fight for you, His name will defend you and His glory will cover you. Be strong, But the God of all grace, who hath called us unto his eternal glory by Christ Jesus, after that ye have suffered a while, make you perfect, establish, strengthen, settle you: I Pet. 5:10.

Prayer/Action
* Pray that help and strength will come for all brethren going through persecution worldwide.
* Pray for yourself that nothing will take you away from Christ.
* Ask God for grace to stand in Christ to the end.

PROPHETIC PRAYER
All my hidden stars will turn to rising and shining stars this year, in the name of Jesus.

Vessels of Praise

Wednesday 11 March
READ: Luke 11: 14 -28
MORE LESSON: Ps.89:20-21

Jesus was a vessel of praise. He passed through this earth and many that came in contact with Him gave praise to God because of what flowed from His life. In the reading of today, the life that Jesus lived made many to give praise to God for His mother.
Some people passed through this earth as vessels of disgrace instead of being vessels of praise. By His lifestyle, Jesus gave us clear examples to emulate and be vessels of praise. By the life Jesus lived and by His works He brought blessing on His family, society, and the world. It was glaring and clearly visible for all to see.

Ways to be vessels of praise:
1. Be a problem solver, not a cause of problems.

2. Sacrificially offer to God in substance, service, cash or kind.
Give in relation to what is left, not miserly gifts to God and tag them your widow's mite (Matt. 5:42). Giving sacrificially also means looking around to meet needs in the church, in the lives of God's servants and church members.

3. Worship God in challenges. Anna became a widow just after seven years of marriage and decided to serve God in the temple, worshipping Him with prayer and fasting. She did not rush to remarry as a young widow to satisfy societal or family expectations. She chose rather to serve God in the temple, choosing to please God rather than please herself or others though it wasn't sinful to remarry. She became a permanent vessel of praise as we still read about her more than 2000 years after the events.

4. Avoid secret evil acts that can bring shame if leaked to the public.

5. Mind your company. Don't company with evil doers no matter the pressure.

6. Be careful who you choose as mentor and partner. An unbeliever should not be your counsellor and model.

Finally, live a life of sacrifice and righteousness. Jesus by sacrifice became an eternal blessing. You too can become a reference point by choosing the path of sacrifice for others and a godly life.

Prayer/Action
* Today, as I step out of my house, I will be a vessel of praise and not of disgrace.
* Men will give praise to God because of my life from today.
List five ways you can be a blessing in word, thought, action to people and start doing those things listed.

PROPHETIC PRAYER
I receive angelic visitation with great evidence throughout this month, in the name of Jesus.

Trust God

Tuesday 10 March
READ: Pro. 3:5-10
MORE LESSON: Psa.121:1-2

As the year progresses, there have been a lot of instability in global affairs. The certainties of five to ten years ago have become uncertain. If anyone will make it in these unstable times then such a person must trust God as God does not have variables because He does not vary. However, men vary, so trusting in men can lead to several disappointments not because those men choose to fail but because man is fallible. Only God is worthy to be trusted absolutely, I will lift up my eyes to the hills, from whence cometh my help. My help comes from the Lord which made heaven and earth: Psa. 121:1-2. Trusting in the Lord is lifting your eyes to God in Heaven. It is refusing to rely on anything else but the Lord. It is making God one's refuge.

Trusting in the Lord is to put your case in God's court and absolutely wait for Him to settle the case, Although thou sayest thou shall not see Him, yet judgement is before Him: therefore trust thou in Him: Job 35:14. There are times it seems as if God is not there because He's not acting as you presume He should, but trust Him. And though there may be no strong wind or rain, your dry valley shall be filled with water. Trust God!

Characteristics of those who trust in the Lord include:
1.They absolutely depend on God, desperate for Him to answer knowing there is no alternative to God.
2. They focus on God alone.
3. They are persistent in asking.
4. They have great peace (Isa.26:3).
5. They are zealous for God.
6. They take risks at divine cost.

Check yourself, do you trust God? Remember that they that trust in the Lord shall be as mount Zion, which cannot be removed because it abideth forever: Ps.125:1.
In the midst of these shifting, changing times, if you will not be overtaken and swept away by the scourge of the wicked, trust God.

Prayer/Action
* Ask God to help you trust Him without wavering.
* Ask God to help you reject all alternatives offered by people around you.
* Pray that you will never have to lean on your own understanding but on God’s leading.

PROPHETIC PRAYER
The dew of God’s mercy shall be my portion today, and breakthrough shall meet breakthrough.

Say Only What God Says

Monday 9 March
READ: Num.14:26-33
MORE LESSON: Psa. 91:2

Whenever one is faced with challenges, men are always quick to say whatever they want. But the hallmark of a real Christian is that he doesn't say what the people say, he doesn't even say what the situation says. He only says what the Lord says. Today the word of the Lord to you is, Do not re-echo the words of the enemy. Many times when the devil begins to spread lies to create panic and fear, it is even the Church that assists him to do it by shouting what satan says. But the Word of the Lord to us as individuals and as a Church is, Do not repeat the statement of the enemy. Do not accommodate negative statements about your life and future. Do not join the people of the world to say negative things about your nation. The Church of Jesus must not join the people of the world to say negative things about the future.

God tells the men of Israel that as they have said in His hearing so He will do to them (Num 14: 28). This is the reason you must not repeat what the people of the world say, Do not call conspiracy everything that these people call conspiracy; do not fear what they fear, and do not dread it. The Lord Almighty is the One you are to regard as Holy, he is the One you are to fear, He is the One you are to dread: Isa 8:12-14 (NIV). The Bible says you are not to fear what the people fear, rather fear God and He will defend you. Do not say what they say, instead say what God says and He will perform it in your life.

If there is a problem, violence or attack anywhere and people say all kinds of things, do not join them. You should rather say, A thousand shall fall at my side, and ten thousand at my right hand; but it shall not come near me. Only with my eyes shall I behold and see the reward of the wicked . . . no evil shall befall me, neither shall any plague come near my dwelling. He shall give His angels charge over me, to keep me in all my ways. They shall bear me up in their hands . . . : Psa. 91:7-12.

I want you to know that you cannot be helpless. You have been anointed by God as a carrier of His help. Those who rise up against you shall fall for your sake (Is 54:15). Those who raise stones against the people of God will throw those stones at their own children, and generations of their children will pay for it. As for you, the snare is broken and like a bird, you have escaped (Psa. 124:7) from all evil and negative predictions! It is well with your soul.

Prayer/Action
Prophesy the following scriptures to yourself- Psa. 118:17, Psa. 46:1-5, Psa. 128:2, Jer. 17:7-8
Tell the Lord, These blessings shall follow me all the days of my life.

PROPHETIC PRAYER
Every opposition against my advancement at work, at home, in business and career shall scatter and backfire today, in Jesus’ name.

Say No to Worry II

Sunday 8 March
READ: Phil 4: 6 -7
MORE LESSON: Ps 34: 4 - 10

It’s been proven that eighty seven percent (87%) of what people worry about never happen. Worry is the fear of the unknown and bringing into the present the pain of something that is yet to come. A worried man is afraid of something that has not come and is preoccupied with an unnecessary pain over a possible futuristic occurrence that he cannot change. It is like having a present rehearsal of a future pain.

Fear kills faster than the real event feared. It has been proven with people that have chronic diseases that the pressure, fear and worry they entertain are actually what kill a greater number of them and not the diseases themselves.. Thus God tried to calm the nerves of the afflicted by sending His Son to ...release those who through fear of death were all their lifetime subject to bondage: Heb 2:15 (NKJV). It isn't even death that keeps people in lifetime bondage but the fear and worry of dying. By the Word of God, you are delivered from worry and fear, whether of death, sickness, financial problem or anything, in Jesus’ name.

Faith and confidence in the Word of God is the antidote to worry. In order not to be overcome by worry in these times of overwhelming darkness in the world, the Light of God's Word must flood your heart. You will only live above worry about death when you truly know that you shall not die, but live, and declare the works of the Lord (Psa 118:17). Worry about plagues and pestilence ravaging the world will not grip you when you truly believe that there shall no evil befall thee, neither shall any plague come nigh thy dwelling: Psa 91:10. You don't lose sleep and become apprehensive each time you or your loved ones have a journey to make when you know that God ...shall give his angels charge over thee, to keep thee in all thy ways. They shall bear thee up in their hands, lest thou dash thy foot against a stone: Psa 91:11-12.

You should not die because of worry over sickness because there is healing in the Balm of Gilead( Jer. 8: 22). There is a God in Heaven who was wounded for your transgression, bruised for your iniquity, chastised for your peace and by whose stripes you were healed (Is 53: 5). Do not give yourself high blood pressure because of financial needs but believe that God shall supply all your needs according to His riches in glory by Christ Jesus (Phil 4:19), the young lions do lack, and suffer hunger: but they that seek the Lord shall not want any good thing: Psa. 34:10.

When worry tries to enter your heart, use the Word of God as a safe lock to defend your heart. Say no to worry.

Prayer/Action
* O Lord, I break loose from the bondage of fear and worry, in Jesus’ name.
* O Lord, let the light of Your Word flood my heart and flush out all fear.
Use Psa. 27:1-3 to pray.

PROPHETIC PRAYER
I command the doors of opportunity and breakthrough to freely open up for me today, in Jesus’ name.

Say No to Worry I

Saturday 7 March
READ: 1 Peter 5: 7
MORE LESSON: Matthew 6:25 -34

Every man has an issue for which he needs help to tackle. There is nobody that doesn't have one challenge or the other; even the patriarchs and heroes in the Bible had issues that confronted them. The only man that does not have an issue confronting him is the man who is already dead. So whatever you are going through, you should not think that you are the only one with problems. People go through hard times as you are, and there are testimonies of men who have overcome that same problem that you have; you must also overcome, as the Scripture encourages, There hath no temptation taken you but such as is common to man: but God is faithful, who will not suffer you to be tempted above that ye are able; but will with the temptation also make a way to escape, that ye may be able to bear it: 1 Cor 10:13.

One thing that challenges prompt in people is worry; everybody has issues that could give them a justified ground to be worried. Even men of God have things to worry about; a man of God could be great, blessed and anointed and equally greatly worried! However, worry is never scripturally justified because it does not change anything about the issue at hand. The only thing worry changes is the blood pressure of the person; worry doesn't change the issue, the circumstance, or the trouble but it changes your blood pressure. The greatest antidote to worry is to have an experiential knowledge of the teaching of our Lord Jesus Christ, That is why I tell you not to worry about everyday life . . . Can all your worries add a single moment to your life? Matt 6:25 - 27( NLT).

Since you are not to entertain worry, what should you do? Give all your worries and cares to God, for he cares about you: 1 Peter 5:7 (NLT). Worries are too overwhelming to be carried by you, so give them to God who has the capability to bear them without being weighed down. God is the custodian of peace while man always harbours worries. But God is graciously asking for an exchange, He wants to give you His peace and collect your worries. That is a beautiful exchange which any man in his right mind should be willing to make. Don't worry about anything; instead, pray about everything. Tell God what you need, and thank Him for doing it. Then you will experience God's peace, which exceeds anything we can understand, His peace will guard your hearts and minds as you live in Christ Jesus: Phil. 4:6-7 (NLT).

Prayer/Action
* O Lord, the situation I am going through in life will not swallow or overpower me, in Jesus’ name.
* O Lord, give me Your peace in abundance.
* Ask God to give you a way of escape from all troubles.

PROPHETIC PRAYER
In the name of Jesus, the favour of God shall overwhelm me today and I shall advance in destiny.

Sweet Savour II

Friday 6 March
READ: Ps 50: 5
MORE LESSON: Ps 50: 5 - 15

God demands sacrifices that will give Him sweet savour, not because He has need of our offerings for the cattle on a thousand hills belong to Him (Ps 50: 10 -11). God demands sacrifices from us because He wants to enter into a covenant of blessing with us. God blesses but there are conditions and if you meet God's conditions then you will get His blessing. When it was time for Isaac to hand over the blessing of the covenant to one of his sons, he asked for the sweet smelling savour, And make me savoury meat, such as I love, and bring it to me, that I may eat; that my soul may bless thee before I die: Gen 27:4.

We all know that Isaac could easily have called the son he wanted to bless, and give him the blessing without any savoury meal. But the Scripture is communicating to us the dimensions of blessings that you cannot access except by sacrifice. Jacob got the blessing because of the savoury meal. Sweet smelling savour also is what makes the difference between Abel and Cain; God accepted Abel's offering and rejected Cain's because Abel's offering brought a sweet smelling sacrifice to God, And Abel, he also brought of the firstlings of his flock and of the fat thereof. And the Lord had respect unto Abel and to his offering: Gen 4:4. It is not enough to bring just any offering to God, make sure your offering is sacrificial and will bring forth a sweet flavour. There are some dimensions of answer to prayer that come only when your sweet sacrifice speaks and not by fasting and prayer, Offer unto God thanksgiving; and pay thy vows unto the most High: And call upon me in the day of trouble: I will deliver thee, and thou shalt glorify me: Psa. 50:14-15.

However, sweet savour is not all about money, it is about your life. The greatest sacrifice you can present to God is your life. There is a way you live that attracts God to your life. Some people don’t know how to have good relationship with others, thus they lack a sweet smelling savour, and they repel people around them; so also a man living in sin and rebellion repels God, no matter what offering he gives. Such life does not give a sweet smelling savour but a stench to God. A sacrifice from such a life will not bring blessing but curse. This is the reason the Holy Spirit makes us to know that the sweet savour which is acceptable to God is a life given to the Lord, I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service: Rom 12:1.

Prayer/Action
* Say, Father, let Heaven be attracted to my life for blessing today.
*Ask God to remember your sacrifices and offerings this month for divine intervention.
* Ask God for grace to live a life that is acceptable to God.

PROPHETIC PRAYER
I prophesy today that my glory shall not be reduced or stolen by robbers of destiny.

Sweet Savour I

Thursday 5 March
READ: Lev 23: 13
MORE LESSON: Rom 12: 1-2

Each substance has a distinctive quality that you can discover by taste or smell. Generally, a sweet savour is a pleasant taste or smell that is the distinctive quality or property of a substance. In our context, sweet savour means an action or expression to God that draws His attention to us. From the Scripture, we see that anywhere God perceives a sweet savour, He comes down and manifests Himself. Scripturally, a sweet smelling savour comes when men sacrifice an animal on fire to God. So, you cannot have the sweet taste without a burnt sacrifice. Man enjoys a sweet taste when he eats; however God doesn't eat man’s sacrifices but He smells our offerings and enjoys the aroma that comes forth when the offering is sacrificial. Sweet smelling savour is what comes out when you make a sacrificial expression or offering to God. God appreciates sacrificial offerings and expressions, and even man appreciates such expressions.

In the Bible, Noah saved a pair(s) of every animal and God destroyed all the remaining animals in the flood. After the flood, there were definitely few animals on earth but Noah sacrificed some to God. God smelt that sacrifice and vowed never to destroy the human race with flood anymore. God also removed the curse on the ground for man's sake (Gen 9: 1 – 13). As Noah offered a sweet smelling sacrifice that affected the entire human race, a single sweet smelling offering can end the trouble in your family.

Solomon also sacrificed 22,000 oxen and 120,000 sheep to God (2 Chro. 7:4-11). The sacrifice was so much that the brazen altar could not contain it. In 2 Chron 5:6, King Solomon and all the congregation of Israel that were assembled unto him before the ark sacrificed sheep and oxen, which could not be numbered for multitude. No wonder the glory of the Lord came down upon the temple and Solomon had great glory as the king of Israel.

Today, you can give an offering that will rise as a sweet savour to God and compel a visitation to you from God. Your tithes, first-fruits, pledges and offerings are demands that God has made as sweet smelling sacrifices, it cannot be anything less. God is not looking for donations, He is looking for a man that will read His Word, discover the sacrifices that God has demanded of him and willingly present them to Him in obedience. Such expression will rise up to God as a sweet savour and provoke the covenant blessing of Jehovah.

Prayer/Action
* Pray that your life will be a sweet smelling savour to God permanently.
* Pray that your sacrifices and service will rise to God as a sweet smelling savour.
* With a seed of money in your hand, ask God to visit you as He visited Solomon. Go and sow the seed to either your pastor or your church.

PROPHETIC PRAYER
Jesus, in this new month, I declare that people will no longer use my old problems to describe me.

The Language of Glory

Wednesday 4 March
READ: 1 Cor. 14:10
MORE LESSON: Isa. 40:3-5

There is a language or expressions of a man that bring the man to glory. The Bible says, There are many different languages in the world, and every language has meaning: 1 Cor 14:10(NLT). Today I want you to know the language that brings glory so that you will learn to speak it.
1. The language of thirst: As a child of God, you thirst for glory. Moses was a man who thirsted for glory, and when you watch his language you will know that he was thirsty, Now therefore, I pray thee, if I have found grace in thy sight, shew me now thy way, that I may know thee, that I may find grace in thy sight: and consider that this nation is thy people: Exo. 33:13. Sometimes people pray so casually that you wonder whether they really desire what they ask for. The way you pray matters as it shows whether or not you are serious in your thirst for the glory. Moses fasted forty days and forty nights to receive the law. When he broke the law, he went back to repeat the 40 days and 40 nights of fasting. People who hunger and thirst for glory don't complain about fasting.
2. The language of God's promises: A person who will taste glory must know the promises of God so that the moment a situation presents itself you can go to God with His promises. This was the secret of Jehoshaphat as recorded in 2 Chron. 20: 4-12. He took God's promise back to Him in prayer; that is a language for experiencing glory.
3. The language of commitment: Commitment means to maintain your way before God in the face of persecution and difficulty. A man that wants to experience God must be committed to God. This is the language that Job spoke when he said, Though He slays me, yet will I trust Him: Job 13:15. If you are committed to God and maintain your way before Him, whether answer comes or not, you will inevitably experience His glory.
4. The language of worship and praise: Psalms 48:1-2 says that God is great and beautiful for situation. No matter your situation, do not let praise and worship elude you. Job 35:10 says that there is a God who gives song in the night. Don't celebrate only when things are good, celebrate even in the night seasons of life. A man who knows the language of worship will not miss out in glory; that is, a worshipper will be consistent in glory.
5. The language of authority, Thou shalt also decree a thing, and it shall be established unto thee: and the light shall shine upon thy ways: Job 22:28. For you to experience glory you can't fold your hands and let your destiny run anyhow. To see God's glory and power, learn to speak authoritatively; make bold proclamations and the Lord will back you up.

Prayer/Action
* Ask God to give you the tongue of the learned that you may speak the word in season.
* Pray for inspiration that brings word of victory.
* Pray that your words will bring you great results.

PROPHETIC PRAYER
Father, today turn every defeat to victory, barrenness to fruitfulness and put an end to every pain.

Become 'Restless'

Tuesday 3 March
READ: Gen 27: 30-40
MORE LESSON: Matt.11:12, Lk.16:16

Most people know the story of the two sons of Isaac; Jacob and Esau. Jacob cunningly took the blessing of the covenant from their father Isaac ahead of Esau who was the first born biologically. Jacob got the blessing (Gen 27: 39 – 40), when Esau came, he sought it with tears (Heb 12: 16 – 17) and pleaded with the father to give him at least one blessing. Finally Isaac released a blessing on Esau which still looked like a curse: By your sword you shall live, and you shall serve your brother; and it shall come to pass, when you become restless, that you shall break his yoke from your neck. Gen 27:39-40 (NKJV) Even though these statements seem to be curses, the good thing in these statements is that there was a window of escape left for Esau from the slavery sentence given to him. He was not to be a servant to his brother forever because the father gave him a condition of breaking the yoke of slavery. He said when you become restless… This means that the solution to his problem will come when he became restless with the problem.

Becoming restless means becoming no longer at ease with your situation. It is good to become restless with your present predicament and do everything godly you can for the required change. 'Becoming restless' doesn't include doing ungodly things but it describes a kind of spiritual desperation that makes you ready to take all the necessary actions and sacrifices to change your situation. A man, that is spiritually attacked and is being begged before he comes to church to pray, has not become restless. When he becomes restless, he will take a marathon fast, add a vigil and cry to God to see to it that the problem stops. It is anti-covenant to become complacent and at ease with a position of slavery, oppression, poverty or sickness.

Let godly desperation get hold of you as you demand that the situation must change no matter what it will take. This restlessness was the window of escape left opened to Esau to be free from slavery to his brother A jobless graduate with an air conditioner fanning him in his bedroom has not become restless. When he becomes restless, he will go and sell the AC and invest the money even if it is in selling pure water or he will not mind the certificate but open a barber's shop and watch increase and prosperity start in his life. A poor man without a job living in a 3-bedroom flat and begging for food has not become restless with begging and poverty. When he is restless and tired of begging, he will rent out 2 rooms, stay in one and use the proceeds to start a small business.

God wants you to be free from whatever has kept you under a yoke, but He wants to see you take desperate steps that show you are tired of the status quo.

Prayer/Action
* Say, “Lord, today, I break the yoke that limits me to smallness and shame”.
* Say, “Father help me to give up my comfort for my greatness”.
* Tell the Lord to grant you all the wisdom, strength, divine guidance that it takes to win over life failure.

PROPHETIC PRAYER
This month, I shall triumph over every evil and make great progress, in Jesus’ mighty name.
